One of my favorite Sanji headcanon's is that he has the best sea legs of the crew, tied w/ Jimbei after he joins. But he also absolutely has the WORST land legs when they make landfall.

I think this because, prior to Kamabakka, the longest period he spent on actual land seems to be starving on a rock with Zeff.

I totally buy that Germa likely had some sort of stabilizing tech on their snails, definitely in medical and engineering areas. You need a measure of stability in your evil laboratory.

But any ocean-going vessel does need to actually move with the sea. Otherwise, it won't move at all. So, I think other areas were less stabilized.

Thus, Sanji went from weird snails that swim the seas, to cruise ship, to trauma rock, to a restaurant ship before joining the Straw Hats. Moving on a ship likely feels more natural to him than on land.

I think he has trained himself to adjust pretty quickly, as a necessity, and also because the Mosshead definitely would call it out. But even still, his first few steps on any island are not as graceful as his usual stride.

- Silent Shadow by @tunafishprincess: I did not realize that I craved dadgiri before I saw this fic and it’s absolutely amazing. 

- Anyone by @gentrychild : this is the best dfo fic I have ever read and it has all the best tropes?? Izuku starting a totally (il)legal organization and stealing ofa and him being oblivious to dfo. There is also bamf Izuku which is a plus.

- Pied Piper by @that-vigilante-piedpiper or @/blackholeca: this is THE quirkless vigilante Izuku fic, like, the best one in the tag I swear. It is an emotional rollercoaster and had me willing to die for the oc, Reo, who is characterized stunningly.

- now u see him/now u dont (series) by @i-just-want-to-destroy : This is seriously, criminically underrated. Like wtf this is the best case/mystery/suspence/comedy/drama fic you can find in bnha. Includes magician/7-11 cashier/quirkless vigilante/spy/cryptid Izuku and it is written very well.

- to die (and retry) also by @i-just-want-to-destroy: the most realistic immortal(?) Izuku fic. The psychological drama is on point and even if the angst is overflowing the comedy still keeps the fic from being too overbearing. 

- Severance by @qhu: afo! Izuku but everyone thinks he has an erasure quirk. The quirk science/theories are amazing! (Also I just realized how funky the severance izuku is because i used a stock image for the brain LMAO) but anyways. There is DFO and dadzawa and it is also criminally underrated. Plus Izuku using the capture scarf which is oen of my favorite izuku tropes :D

it’s literally endlessly fucking funny to me how certifiably insane post timeskip sabo is about his brothers. he remembered who luffy and ace were and they immediately rocketed to #1 on his priority list with absolutely no contest. he devotes himself to being an older brother with the same fanatical obsession that he’s been using to lead revolutions and luffy is so used to ‘older brother’ meaning ‘guy who has attached a significant portion of his self worth and meaning in life to you’ that it fully doesn’t even register as weird to him. he manages to secretly make luffy a vivre card and luffy acts this is reasonable rational behavior!!! just normal older brother shit for them to be fully neck deep in your business without ever mentioning it!!!! cannot believe they ever managed to make us think sabo was the normal rational one. what the fuck lmao

Okay but Jimbei is like, an old pirate. Joining the Strawhats is basically his retirement job. He’s like “ugh man I’ve been doing all this political maneuvering for decades it’s so exhausting” and Luffy pops up like “wow lame wanna join my Funtime crew instead? I’ll let you punch whoever you want” and Jimbei’s like yeah. I do want that actually.

I think if Sanji was trans fem and she finally accepted herself in her two years in Momoiro, she would be very nervous to meet the crew again in Sabaody. She looks... different, but she's happier. She knows deep down that her friends would be fine with the changes, but worry eats at her anyway. She's scared. Scared of rejection, scared of losing her family. She doesn't want to choose between them and being herself. It's not fair.

While the most vile, negative thoughts are going through her head, she runs into Brook before his final concert. The moment she sees Brook, the skeleton goes "Yohohoho~ What a lovely lady we have here. Can I see your panties, Sanji-san?"

And Sanji doesn't know if she wants to kick him or start crying, because that was somehow one of the most gender affirming moments she's ever had.

Maybe things will be fine after all. (She did indeed kick Brook, though.)

you know i really appreciate fics in which author explores how much teachers and society fucked up bakugou by not correcting his behavior and putting a lot of pressure to become the best hero. ESPECIALLY if in the process these issues get addressed and fixed not leaving bakugou as villain or ende-whore number two.

but fics in which izuku goes absolutely feral full-on "YOU'RE TALKING SHIT ABOUT ME EXPLOSION BITCH!?" and kicks kacchan's ass hold a special place in my heart.
