This act would make constitutional amendments to ensure that even sitting presidents are held liable for their actions. That NOBODY is above the law.
Their goal is 150k messages sent and at the time of writing this they're about 2.1k off from that goal!

My name is Rawan, and I’m from Gaza, Palestine. I married my husband, Mahmoud, on August 28, 2023. For just 40 precious days, we lived a joyful life as software engineers, dreaming of a bright future together. But on October 7, our world shattered as war engulfed our home.
Since that day, we have faced unimaginable loss and suffering. We lost our jobs and our beautiful, warm home, and we’ve been forced to evacuate from one place to another as conditions worsened. Now, we live in a small tent, enduring inhumane conditions for nearly a year.
As winter approaches, we find ourselves without enough clothing to shield us from the cold. I’m currently five months pregnant, and we desperately need funds for medicine, proper nutrition for both me and my baby, and clothing for our little one. I fear for my child’s safety, worrying about bringing a new life into such harsh circumstances. Yet, I cling to the hope that this war will end soon.
Our campaign has been moving slowly, and we haven’t received any donations in the past 9 days. We have just 1,709 € left to reach our first goal of 5,000 €. Can we make this happen?

tumblr just deleted a huge swathe of palestinians who were on here trying to fundraise. if you've been helping any of these fundraisers please take this time to 1) check in with palestinians you're in contact with 2) help them submit support requests if needed 3) keep these campaigns circulating while the beneficiaries are being silenced. these campaigns are life or death, this isn't just social networking. do not let these fundraisers languish.

he is currently responsible for their safety during the genocide, as well as for his wife and his two elderly parents. his family has been displaced NINE TIMES, and they struggle every day in the face of death, injury, disease, and lack of basic necessities like food, clean water, and medical care. muhammad hesitated at first to begin fundraising to leave gaza, but after losing friends and loved ones to the genocide, the thought of losing his family became too much to bear.
any amount you can spare to them makes a difference; as of 8/21, he has currently raised only €5,996 of his €25,000 goal since opening his fundraiser in EARLY APRIL. so please, donate whatever you're able, and share if you can't. give muhammad and his family hope that they can reach safety and apply for asylum once they are safe. make a difference in their lives and safeties.
