Fun fact (I'm kinda contradicting everything I've said abt this previously but oh well): I know someone who was lactose intolerant, but later just got used to it. They still feel sick sometimes, but not throwing up level of bad.
So we know Hugo's obsessed with trying to "cure his lactose intolerance" now, but has he always been this stupid abt it? Or was there once a beautiful time where he actually knew to avoid it.
And if so, how/when did he start this foolish experimenting?
He only started this after finishing the trials and stopped working for me.
Since he grew up poor, every meal was important so he ate whatever he could find, but I tended to a voice giving him anything that would upset his stomach when he was younger.
When he started getting his own food though, there was nothing I could do other than advise him not to eat certain things.
He’s been a lot more reckless with dairy in the past few months of living in the Coronan castle.
I do wish I went with Yong cause he's incredibly underrated
I'm bored so
I'm voting Varian but for me it's between him and Hugo <3 my favorite little bitches
Hate A*drew so much I'm not even adding him in my fic except for one scene in Ingvarr where it's mentioned he's rotting away in a cell.
At this point the only reason I want vat7k to happen is so Varian can beat the shit out of Andrew.
Buddy we ALL know Varian can cook better than you
Stop lying Hugo we all know you can't cook for shit
Um, okay?! I'm the best cook outta all of us thank you very much! I could go on and on about all the amazing things I've made for the gang outta the kindness of my heart but I have better stuff to be doing, AND (fuck I can't belive I'm pulling this card-)
Im FRENCH
Blonde bitch out!!! 🏳️🌈💅✨️🖕
“Guys disney is gonna make vat7k this time trust me bro-“ its been FIVE YEARS. LET THE MAN DIE.
i can't physically explain it but this song is so varian and i don't know WHY. it just scratches an itch in my brain and it is so inexplicably varian and also he would head bang to this song no i don't accept criticism thank you
I don't think tangled is ever getting any continuation. Like ever. The series didn't make much money in the long run, so the most this fandom will get is a crappy live action and maybe a crappier Gothel movie. Like tangled two is incredibly pointless because we have the show, which is just a sequel but better cause it's a show. Also, I'd vibe with a Cass spinoff the most cause it's something I think about the least (no hate to Cass, I adore her) but low-key ship her with lady Caine so they at least need to interact
Sorry for the long ramble damn
Suppose Tangled did have a sequel in the future. In that case, they'll probably de-canonise Tangled the series/Rapunzel's tangled adventure like replacing Varian with a female or an elderly alchemist, or that one book called "What Once was Mine: A Twisted Tale" where Cassandra was replaced with a thief named Gina. Or the book titled "Mother Knows Best: A Tale of the Old Witch" based on Mother Gohtel. Where it doesn't reference Gothel being part of the Zhan Tiri followers, or the new book coming next year called Rootbound: A Tangled Novel, where it wouldn't base its novel on the series. But maybe because the author wanted to do their own take on the movie, and not bases off a show. Varian and the seven kingdoms (Cancelled idea for a spinoff of the series) are already scrapped and would probably be the project that Disney's portfolio of scrapped and abandoned projects. And the spinoff for Tangled the series will probably be Eugene and Lance, or Cassandra.
i have the slightest theory that varian and the seven kingndoms could become real but im probably delusional
and my evidence?
these😭😭😭
because idk why but it feels a LITTLE ODD for jeremy to drop a tts varian and cass signing randomly but AGAIN, I COULD BE DELUSIONAL so dont take this too seriously im just a man
(the second pic isnt very specific but its jeremy jordan and others posting about an upcoming varian and cass signing on insta)
just for clarification:
disliking parts of the way rapunzel’s character was handled in the show =/= disliking her.
movie!rapunzel means a lot to me personally, and i absolutely adore some aspects of her character in the show. i think she’s loving, creative, funny, intelligent, and she tries her best to help the people around her.
if i have a critique with her in the show, it’s because i believe that isn’t how she’d behave as someone who went through the events of the movie. or maybe i look at how she acts for one episode of the show, compare it to the foundation they’ve established in an earlier episode, and find that they contrast one another. my criticisms are for the inconsistent or out-of-character writing, not for rapunzel herself. i understand she has flaws; i just wish they were addressed properly and that she didn’t always have to be in the right.
you’re welcome to reblog this if you feel the same way.

I feel like Hugo's betrayal would be parallel to when Varian reveals his criminal past, but also not really? I like to think Varian would've revealed his past by himself, rather than waiting for the group to stumble across a wanted poster or smth. I also think Hugo would've figured it out a while ago, and while Nuru and Yong would be mad that he hid it for so long, they'd soon realise that he's changed his ways, and their friendship and trust would grow stronger.
When it comes to Hugo's betrayal, however, he hid it for much longer. Donella was also the one to tell everyone, not giving Hugo a chance to explain himself. Another thing is that nobody in team radical knew or could really relate, except for maybe Varian but he was too heartbroken at that point. While Varian was comforted by Hugo after his reveal, Hugo had nobody. He was stuck with Nuru and Yong, who hated him at that moment, and Varian just ran off.
I also think that for Varian, Nuru would be more upset but for Hugo, it'd be Yong.
