headcanon of hugo going from calling yong "sparkles" (when he didnt take him as seriously at first) to "little man" (his sweet way to convey that he's changed how he sees him and thinks the lil guy is capable in his own way too)....
And yong loves the new cool nickname a lot <3
Can we talk about Eugene's growth. He started as a selfish thief who feels alienated from everyone and once he decided to do the right thing by saving Rapunzel he still thinks he is an outsider not worthy of compassion.
It was until Arianna, a person he barely personally knew offered him a hand and pulled him to a hug, accepting him despite not knowing a thing about him.
And now Eugene, after unlearning his selfishness and tendency to run from problems, matured knowing he is loved and is willing to take responsibility for the people he loves. And now it is him who gets offer love and compassion to Cass, who feels fearful of being undeserving of it after what she has done.
Eugene used to live thinking he didn't deserve love and compassion, and now he's the one offering love and compassion.
Close to the end of the story, since Nuru gives off mage/witch vibes, she gets a black cat as a familiar and names it after her favourite constellation
Quick question: How did Donella even find Cyrus in the first place? Like I see a lot of people (myself included) talking about how Don found Hugo but never Cyrus. I think he deserves some spotlight idk
Okay but thinking about how Varian went from "I can't do anything right" to "I can't afford to make mistakes" whereas Hugo went down the opposite pipeline
currently thinking about Varian "i cant do anything right" of Old Corona vs Hugo "i cant afford to make mistakes" Rottewange
and ohhhh they make me fuckin SICK
did you guys know there's a YouTube tutorial for how to draw Hugo?!
WE CAN FINALLY DRAW THE INFAMOUS UNDERCUT PEOPLE!!! WE'RE SAVED!!!
Why are you so cool
Wait- I'm cool? Really?!
I have no thoughts other than library depression now. I don't even know how a library can be depressed, but it is.
