Does anyone know how to stop myself from stimming?
The first three chapters are up 🎉.
The fic is called ‘A first real rebellion (& more to come)’, it’s on ao3 and my username is theresastarmanwaitinginthesky.
Last week I made this post:
(There was a poll but I couldn’t fit it in the screen shot)
(Also there’s now 3 chapters written)
But I forgot to add tags so nobody saw it and hence it got no votes
So I’m making a new poll this one with tags
As an aromantic person I find the term ‘my other half’ to refer to a significant other so strange.
Because sometimes I think to myself; ‘That’s stupid, I don’t need another half I’m a whole person by myself. Amatonormativity is so weird.’
And others I think; ‘I will forever be alone, a fraction for all my life. Without a lover I won’t be a real person.’
Why can’t Robin leave button house? There’s not really any reason for him to be bound the the property line, it wasn’t there when he was died.
I’ve got some ideas but they all have flaws:
The area of land belonged to Robin’s tribe, this is the most likely theory but is this was the case his boundaries would be different to other ghosts as it’s very very unlikely that the cavemen and house owners (Humphrey, Fanny, Francis, ect) had exactly the same boundaries to their owned land.
The property boundaries can change themselves and when the land was brought to build the house they changed to fit the owned area, meaning one day robin could go anywhere he liked then the next he couldn’t.
He chooses to stay, but probably the least likely as after millions of years he probably would of chosen to leave and in Part of the Family he could of followed the car to tell Alison about Lucy.
I think a combination of 1 and 2 are most likely (Robin having to live be dead inside his group’s boundaries, then when the house put there Robin’s boundaries changed shape), but I’m still not really sure.
Anyone got any better theories?
I feel the heart is the most aromantic organ. I know what your think but hear me out.
Most people associate the heart with love, and this is mainly because of the love heart shape (which is actually to do with love) has the same name as the organ.
But the shape actually originally comes from the Silphium's seedpod plant which was seen as a herb of love and sex, it was also used as an early form of birth control. The plant was the put on ancient Cyrene money.
Anyway, in reality in the brain controls love. The feeling of love is controlled by three hormones, oxytocin, dopamine, and serotonin. The brain controls the secretion of all hormones, and the glands of all three of these hormones are in the brain (except dopamine which can come from the the hypothalamus, in the brain, and the adrenal glands, above kidneys).
In reality the only effect love has on the heart is that it can speed up your pulse (how fast the heart bets), but that is true for way to many other things for it to be considered a connection, non one every relates being scared, angry or stressed to the heart (unless for medical reasons as lots stress can cause the blood vessel to narrow).
But despite the heart (organ) having nothing to do with love, romance or sex, it is seen as such and those things are forced on it. As an aromantic person I think that’s quite relatable.

Why is no one talking about how Crowley is also Aziraphales’s emotional support demon?
Most people know Stede and Ed are both based on real people.
Less people know that Stede Bonnet was hung to death in December 1718 and Edward Teach was killed in battle with sailors November 1718.
And S1 is set in 1717.
This worries me for s2 or future seasons.
What if Robins sucked off prediction math was correct and the main ghosts just didn’t notice?
One of the plague ghosts going missing would probably go unnoticed by anyone but the other plague ghosts
