Why do you lie

To my soul

Your the reason this world is cold .

Cant you see

What you do to me ?

You bring me to my knees

To beg you,

The happiness in me .

You locked me up and

Forced me to fight

For the light , I cried for every night .

You made me , my own demon

The devil you created from the palm of your hand .

For ever I was giving no slack,

Licking the pain from your wounds while

Feeding the demon , within my own skin .

You made me crack,

I accept that

But I will come back ,

Stronger then the marks on my back

I will show you slack

I’ll accept your apology

When I get up from my knees , your see

I weren’t who you thought I could be,

I have to much lose

To give you the key

Yet slightly absurd

To give someone your all

Yet not got the strength

To put what you have

Lost in a world of emotions

Covid on my mind

Not a worry for the blind.

It’s not the strain of my eyes

from watching the tv

Or holding my phone all day

It’s the battle going on in my brain .

A pain I feel through shut eyes

The light don’t bother me no more

Used to the dark and the man made lights

With a flip of the switch .

It Seems day and night no longer disgunish

The hurt no longer exists

But neither does my happiness .

Lost in my own mind

But just a empty space .

Dying to breathe in the fresh air

To revitalise my brain .

Lost words that make no sense

Emotions I can’t figure out .

The world has gone crazy

And my brain is on the fall out .

How can my brain survive this pandemic with nothing to do , no air to breathe , no sun to see,

A mother to all,

She always stood tall ,

She braces the craziest storm

Because that’s her home,

She carries life to the full

So we can be reborn ,

She gives her body to another

With out a thought for the other ,

She knows power, love & hate

But yet you won’t see her shake ,

She has to be powerful

To raise her next generation ,

To Make sure there matter

In a world with a lot of chatter ,

She has the power to give and take

But she always chooses life

Over any other path

That may call her ,

Because that’s the gate

To her most beautiful

Creations in life,

By love , because that’s what mothers do

14 months & counting ,

Crammed into 4 tiny walls,

No fresh air ,

For me to breathe ,

No one else to reach,

Covid they said,

Don’t catch a cold,

Keep your self to your self ,

14 months you know ,

Not even a glimpse of sun,

Or 2 minutes of fun,

My brains starting to go into over drive ,

With no end to the wave,

I’m losing my sanity & all hope,

That my soul will ever feel the same .

One thing

In life don’t give up

Never check the competition on the other shoulder

Always breathe and just get stuck in

The thicker the better

Don’t let anyone make you feel worthless

Poisonous people only do this

Don’t never go in with your eyes closed

Always make sure they are wide

Don’t get stuck in the gossip

Take a seat back and be the listener

Your be amazed what you hear ,

When your hurting ,

Please just scream,

Don’t let it burden you ,

Why did you leave me on the cross roads,

Cold and alone,

With a thousand thoughts creating a storm.

You left me in the darkest skies,

my coldest hour ,

Did it make you feel better ?

To know I was breaking,

Under your footstep .

Pressure after pressure,

As you watched me shatter

But it didn’t matter.

If you were true , You thought you could piece

Me back together

With glue .

But never the same

And now your ashamed

Because the damaged you caused

Is clear .

As gentle as a butterfly

But yet it lies

Like a spy

With a fly

Upon my wall ,

Glorious colours to distract the eye,

From what is hidden beneath its wall ,

I dare knock as I’m scared I will fall,

As something as pretty as that,

Will clearly make me a fool,

I don’t hold the jewels ,

To unleash her soul

I would make her into a grizzly ghoul

She touches upon my senses

Makes my insides, go dense

But god forgive me

She is to damn cold

When I try to keep a hold

Of her love.
