okay I admittedly have yet to beat echoes of wisdom. But i mean. It is too perfect. Princess Lizzie on the run with only her fairy companion for company, using her magic to defeat enemies in the name of rescuing some weird overdramatic rando with a sword from a demon. Also to stop the demon from destroying the world, but mostly the rescuing part. He left his cloak behind! It’d be rude not to return it! Anyway i want pictures of Spider-Man on my desk by morning meme but about desperately needing a fic of this. Joel being pathetic, Lizzie being badass, Joel being absolutely Whipped for this awesome magical warrior princess come to rescue him and Lizzie being like. “Uhh you forgot your cape. HE TRIES SO HARD TO MEND IT. HE WAS IN EVERY SEASON. WORSE. HE KNOWS HOW ABSOLUTELY HOPELESS THEY ARE SOMETIMES. HE WAS THE PITIFUL ONE. IN THIRD LIFE HE BURNED. HE HAD THE SADDEST TIMES IN LAST LIFE. HE AND ETHO HAD THE MOST DRAMATIC STORY AFTER DIVORCE QUARTET IN DOUBLE LIFE. HE IS THE ONE WHO KEEPS DYING TO SCOTT, HE MAKES STUPID DECISIONS, HE MAKES ENEMIES.

But he still tries. He still has hope that if he just fix it one more time it will stay there if he looks away.
