My sister needed a ‘visual aid’ for her book report, and I was happy to be of help.

Ramble below! Do not read if you value your sanity my craziness will infect you you have been warned!

Imma be so honest, those word bubbles aren’t filled with just scribbles, I used the text feature and then just wrote a small dissertation on my fav anime. It covers the whole screen on that text size, I just made a new layer and filled the whole thing with white except for the text bubbles. I am not well.

(I kinda hope her classmates notice. But only the cool ones who will respect her for it)

see if you can guess what book! Challenge: impossible, because I have not read the book myself and these are just randos in the drawing based off of her general description of the plot.

the book was Radio Silence. My sister recommends, and I recommend listening to her recommendations. She is cool. 👍

Thank you @falconearring, your comic was the first time I had ever seen a fan comic, and I spent an unjustified amount of time last year reading and rereading it. I never would have had the courage to even make fanart without it. I love the story and the art, and I aspire to make comics like you. Your art taught me a lot, and I still am in awe of the way you tell such a cohesive and immersive story.

if you are drawing Etho slab fanart, chances are you know that his skin is based of kakashi, and I think we see that reflected. Like, we know that’s meant to be a mask, and that gray on his head band is piece of metal and not more hair, and that’s meant to be sandals, and that’s meant to be vest with pockets. So that’s how we draw it. But what if it wasn’t? I just had this fun idea so I grabbed a reference for his actual Minecraft skin and just. Pretended I had no idea who kakashi was. How would I draw him? How might I interpret his outfit, his hair? Idk, just a silly doodle. Nothing revolutionary. I’d love to see other people try this idea for Etho or any other mycts that you love. To just. Pretend you don’t know what everything is meant to be and see how you might interpret their Minecraft skin.

I wanted to practice faces and hair, so I made an art (scandalous, I know). Its just some rando, ig, although I realized after I finished it that the hair suspiciously resembled my take on party poison. I had to resist the urge to go back and just fully make it a party poison fanart. You have to draw original stuff too, Ian! It can’t all be fanart!!

i enjoyed drawing this hair style, so I might adapt it to use for one of my characters, but anyway this took three hours of my life that I won’t ever get back and I’m not above begging for validation on the internet please like or comment on this or any of my posts please please please I am lonely. I had to draw @cherrifire of course, because Cherri’s artwork was what first introduced me into the idea of fanart and the concept of being a commission artist, as well as the first person who streams I started watching and whose blog I started following. It’s kinda messy cause I was on a time crunch and trying out some different brushes, and also Cherri is surprisingly hard to find a reference of. Like, Cherri what shoes do you wear. Cause I have never seen them. I ended up going with a fanart I found of her for the rest of the outfit that I couldn’t piece together via stream thumbnails, but Cherri please give us a reference of your sona it’s so pretty and I wanna draw it properly! Anyways yeah. Also as I was drawing this I noticed that Cherri just. Like. Has pointy teeth. I did not notice this before. How have I never noticed this before? Am I the only who just, like missed that the pink flower magic fire eyeball lady has extra sharp danger biteys? Anyway sorry for rambling I love your art Cherri and I love watching your streams and seeing all the stuff you draw in YouTube thumbnails and being like “I know who drew that!” and singing along to the crane wives during your streams and drawing along to your vods!! I’m going to draw some of the other aqua artimators as well I swear it upon my honor as a nerd and all my magic cards (the most serious oath one can make) but I started with Tibby because the Tibby vods have been giving me life during [real life stuff that’s really annoying and taking up all my time].

I just started getting into the MCR lore, and I started with Danger Days, and oh my goodness gracious I am thoroughly addicted. Also, I did a version with a background, but I wasn’t super happy with how it came out, but I’ll share anyway:

You thought you could criticize me and my indecision? Well, I laugh in the face of genuine and accurate criticism!! In fact, I’ll laugh right now! Hahahahhahahahahahh-

He’s so silly! He’s got a decked out 2 key around his neck because I love the idea of hermits having little mementos from past seasons, and he’s got some red stone dust on his sweatshirt, the silly! Also, all evil laughter and insults aside, I am going to try to come up with more consistent designs for all my favorite blorbos, so I guess consider this the first one, unless I change my mind, which is also likely.

It’s a Pearl!!! In a weird background cause I’m lazy and didn’t feel like finishing it! (Look, drawing shoes is difficult, ok?) any way, look at her!!! Her hair came out so pretty! So many exclamation points!!

Why is she in a tree. The real reason is because shoes are a pain to render, but the really REAL reason is because leaf brushes are fun, but the real REALLY REAL reason is that she’s up to something (shh! Don’t spoil her —e-v-i-l—s-c-h-e-m-e— (<- these words are meant to be crossed out but I dunno how to do that so yeah) fun!)

Hi guys! Good news, I hucked my broken pencil at a wall in frustration, and it un-broke itself (mostly…), so I spent many hours making a boat boys animatic. Bad new, I don’t know how to sync audio, so I just had to record my iPad and play the song on a separate device. Its really bad quality guys (big sad), but I still think the actual animatic turned out pretty well, even if it’s still in the sketching phase. Anyway, the song is I Was an Island by John-Allison Weiss, go listen to it it’s so hilariously boat boys coded I can’t. Anyway, disclaimer, this is all for sillys and giggles. Also beware the angst.

I did an art! (I know, crazy right?) I’m still stuck drawing with my finger, which is annoying, but luckily I did this drawing before my pencil broke. Hopefully I can get a new one soon! Anyway, in the meantime, with out further ado:

I wanted to try drawing without outlines, and I’m not sure how I feel about the final result, but I blame that on the fact that halfway through my pencil broke on me and I had to draw the rest with my finger, which was pain and suffering. Anyway, here it is (fanart of Grian)

His hands are in his pockets because I felt lazy, alright? You try to draw hands with no outline with your finger! Anyway, um, yeah. (Real eloquent there, Ian)

(You’ll notice the very interesting choice of eye color. I wanted to include a little watcher thingy, but not something super obvious. Subtly was never my thing, but I gave it a try. How’d I do?)

This took me three hours. Anyway, I gave him a little flower crown because it just felt right.

I am so incredibly proud of how this turned out I put so much effort into it please validate me and my art.

I’m posting it as is because that took too many hours to do just that bit for me to feel up to finishing it, but I think what I have turned out well!

Honestly I’m so curious what exactly Tango saw to prompt him to share this with the world. But anyway, I had this idea in my head since I found Martyn’s tumblr page. It was just really funny to me to imagine Tango cowering in fear as Martyn’s just like “…you’re not even on my tumblr page…”

Every time I hear the song Immortals by Fall Out Boy all I can think of is how perfectly it fits Limited Life. This, just the line art, took me three hours, and I was just like “screw this, I’ll post this as it is anyway” because I was bored out of my skull and my brain was melting out my ears. Also, I don’t recommend looking at the tags because there are about three hundred of them because apparently everyone has to have a name, a gamer tag, three nicknames, and their name next to the smp they’re in.

edit: for some reason it only lets me have a certain amount of tags before it deletes the rest, so I guess everyone will have to settle with just one or two tags per person. Seriously. They have so many different tags that tumblr had to cut me off. Why is this fandom like this!?!!??!!? /j (but still I had to cut down on ALL the tags and it was a pain, and there’s still a bunch even majorly reduced)

I love the game Don’t Starve Together, even if I am absolute shit at it gameplay wise. I love the lore, and the art style, and the characters, and the dark humor. My favorite guy (lore wise) is Wes. I don’t play him though, on account of (again) me being completely dreadful at actually playing the game. But here is a wip of him.
