After having a nightmare, Character B wakes up fighting, deaf to the reassurances of Character A.
“What part of stay there don’t you understand?!”
“I swear- you’ll be the death of me!”
“I’m going grey- You’re making me go grey.” “You are not going grey, you’re 25!”
“Are you trying to give me a heart attack?!”
“Okay, new rule- From now on your plan is not allowed to be ‘run in head-first and see what happens’.”
“Is asking you to shoot me a little ‘I’m not dead’ text every now and again really too much to ask??”
“So let me get this straight. You heard gun-fire. And you ran. Towards it?!”
“That’s it- You’re in time out.” “What?! I’m not a child-“ “I don’t care! Time out!”
“Must you bleed on everything I own??”
Big fan of characters who are just so done lmaoo, part 2??
“I can deal with it myself.”
“But you don’t have to.”
Holiday Tradition - for White Collar H/C Advent 2017 :P
This is actually a GIF and you can check it out at AO3 :)
Something I enjoy: Person not used to being carried gets carried
“I’m not going to hurt you,” Character A says softly, inching closer with placating hands, “It’s okay, I’m here to help.”
it’s the 21st day of the 21st year of the 21st century.
you can only reblog this today.
Thanks for the tag Emi! What a nice name :00
Also we have a lot in common lmao, music is one of the most important things to me in life and my love language is physical touch, but my need isn’t met.
Anyway, hello, I’m Tobias! Or Toby :))
Facts:
1. I’m Scottish! And still living here too. People often ask about what its like in Scotland and I always say cold and wet. And while it totally is, its also really beautiful. Theres so many amazing places, that you can go to for free, that are just a drive away. Or just a walk for me, given I’m in the countryside.
2. I’ve gotta talk about music for a bit. Music is so deep-rooted into me and my family. I like pretty much all music. My family does a lot of Scottish folk music, it’s brilliant. Everyone in my big family plays music, many of them are musicians for their career. I play the ukulele, piano, guitar, banjo, a little bit of violin and I sing, a lot. I got a loop pedal a while back and its great fun. I’m hoping to go to college this year and do acting and theatre performance, then musical theatre.
3. I’m currently learning Scottish Gaelic to be closer with my culture, I’m on day 20. I’m not very good. But I’m having fun.
This was fun :))

hi everyone ~
I’m super bad with names but I always want to try and call people by their first names if I can!!
I thought I’d do a quick lil tag game to make sure I’m getting to know all the lovely people I interact with on here. so, if you’re comfortable, post your first name and three facts about yourself.
I’ll start - I’m Alex, and three fun facts about me are I love to collect pens/stationary, Dunkin’ iced coffee basically flows through my veins, and the musician I’ve recently become obsessed with is maggie miles.
tagging @leahclearwaterdefensesquad @ohyoudosmellgood @notquitetwilight @carllisle @jasperwhitcock @edworm-cullen @rosalielesbianhale and literally EVERYONE who wants to jump in because I want to meet you if I haven’t already!!!!
One of my favourite rare/underused whump tropes??
Locked in a freezer.
Especially those kind of ice chests?? Like freezer boxes?? Only just big enough for someone to fit in, not much room to move at all.
Someone beaten and shoved into one of those. The bad guy either locks it or shoves something heavy on top. Our character jolts their back into the lid, realising with horror that it won’t budge. Maybe they’re manhandled in, bound and gagged, praying for their friends to find them.
Or one of those walk in freezers in stock rooms?? Our character is moving some boxes around when whatever’s propping the door open shifts and the door swings closed, locked. Or perhaps our character is fighting our bad guy, who shoves them in and locks the door, making eye contact through the little window before leaving. Or maybe our characters friend or co-worker closes the automatically locking door, without realising someones in there.
Maybe I’ll go on about it another time but I think the concept is pretty niche, I never really see it
The whumpee gets laid up for a while. It takes them forever to become coherent enough to leave the hospital, and even then they have a long recovery ahead of them.
During this time, perhaps it began when the whumpee is still delirious on painkillers, a character starts watching a TV show in their room while they keep vigil.
Perhaps this character is their best friend, maybe it’s someone they don’t necessarily get on well with. Maybe is the oldest or the youngest, but either way they begin to bond over the show. Perhaps it’s the thing that brings the whumpee back to reality, as through a haze of painkillers they mutter and offhand comment about the plot or characters:
“Who does he think he is.” A mumbles beneath an oxygen mask, “cheating bastard…”
The two characters continue to watch this show, and others if they finish it quickly. They bond over it so much, other characters have entered the room to A (smothered by blankets because B is convinced A still needs coddling) leaning against B as they argue/cry/laugh over the antics on screen.
