I just had to make it

I think everyone has their very own version of Batman in their head, mine wears the bat suit while wearing Elmo pj pants holding robing in one arm like a mother cat and holding a coffee in the other. If I could draw that, I would but unfortunately I don’t hold the power to create all the things I hold within my mind.

Ok, so I was chilling thinking about some assassin's creed animations I've seen on YouTube, and I remember this ONE animatic where it was like mostly batman. But this animation had like this one familiar character (it's a debate between sonic or Jesse from minecraft story mode Don't judge me!) And they were messing with Batman calling batman, Bruce Wayne and Batman kept accidentally responding and kept telling them it was batman, than (it was either Altair or Ezio i can't for the life of me remember) and he called out and said "Is that Bruce Wayne!" And batman was so done! 🤣

Now, for the life of me, I can't find this video! Like I looked up as best I could in the YouTube search bar - BUT NOTHING!

I tried remembering the artist, and I looked them up, but I can't tell if I'm remembering wrong or if they deleted the video!

Superboy AU where the suit is actually a part of Kon. (TW/CW for brief mention of self harm near the end, marked with three ***)

He doesn’t notice it when he’s still in CADMUS, where he’s in a state that’s not really conscious but too alert to labeled asleep- a dissociative in between. He hears the scientists talking, hears the mention of “the suit responds as expected” or “how does he react to this…”

He can’t focus on it when after weeks of experiments and tests and “Look here, Project 13” he’s being rescued (what was there to be rescued from, what’s going on-)

But when things calm down, and he’s brought to the Watchtower’s medbay and someone goes to remove the suit so they can perform a checkup, he flinches away because that hurt*.

All too suddenly he’s aware of being able to feel the suit. It doesn’t feel like a coat, doesn’t feel like a blanket, it feels like him.

He becomes aware of how it aches, how he can feel the AC on him even though he should be covered.

A quick examination just confirms it: his suit is like a second skin.

It’s full of nerves, veins, even a few thin layers of muscle. There’s no bone, but it’s too soft and flexible to be cartilage. It seems weaker than the rest of him, somehow, old bruises able to be seen if you’re looking for them.

***When he’s left alone for the night, legs still strapped to the medical bed because (he’s dangerous and untrustworthy and was made by Luthor) he thrashed around in a panic earlier, he finds a scalpel left on a try at his bedside and runs it across his chest (hard, because even though he’s not Superman he’s damn well close).

He doesn’t know if he cries when blood rises and trails after the scalpel.

He doesn’t know how he feels when weeks later, there’s still a faint scar.

*I’m not 100% sure how it works in the comics, but to me just because you’re near indestructible/invulnerable, that doesn’t mean you can’t feel pain. I’m sure there’d be a higher tolerance to it, but considering Kon would only be a few weeks old/out of the tube at this point, he hasn’t built up that resistance yet.

Also I am well aware that a scalpel would not work on Kon, let alone Clark, but maybe it’s a kryptonite infused scalpel for emergencies.

Unintentional Stalker Tim Drake AU

I love the interactions where Tim is his canonical weirdo fanboy self, but consider the idea that he never meant to stalk the bats.

Tim’s parents are gone, away on another dig, and Tim decides that instead of sitting in the quiet manor again, alone with only his TV to keep him company, he would grab his camera and take aesthetic photos of nighttime Gotham.

He’s quiet as he looks for a good spot to take his first photos, and when he finds a cool angle of a building against the setting sun he takes a photo.

He did not expect to see Batman and Robin mid jump between rooftops.

He quickly looked up from the photo, but any sign of the bats having been there are gone. Tim’s slightly disappointed, but decides to head home early, not wanting to risk being caught out alone.

The next night, he returns to the streets, camera slung around his neck and heading in the opposite direction of where he last saw the vigilantes. He sees a cool reflection of the moon being framed by a street lamp, and with the click of a button he takes the photo.

He again captured Batman and Robin, this time grappling in the distance, their silhouettes obvious against the light of the moon. When Tim looked up from the picture, they were gone.

Awe aside, he’s getting annoyed that the two masked crusaders keep photobombing his pictures. He walks down a few streets, climbs a tree, and takes a landscape photograph. Almost hesitant, Tim looks at the result.

Robin is chasing a low level gang member across the street.

This keeps happening: Tim goes out into Gotham’s night in an attempt to take photos of the city, and every time time Batman and Robin- sometimes just one of them sometimes both- unintentionally fall into the camera’s path as Tim snaps a photo.

In the background of his photos he’s captured Batman scolding Robin, the duo eating ice cream, Robin trying to walk on a power line, and even a couple of their fights with some of the rogues, along with many more photos.

On one particular night, as Tim gets his camera to focus against a satellite dish against the sky, he sees Robin do a quadruple somersault.

Tim is quickly able to figure out their identities like in canon, and when Jason comes in to take over the Robin mantle, Tim discovers his identity too with little to no problem.

Tim keeps up with his photo shoots, not nearly as annoyed of the photobombs as he used to be but refusing to give up until he has one clean shot of just the city and nothing else.

When Jason dies, and Tim sees Bruce dishing out broken bones and ICU visits to everyday thugs, he knows he’s got to do something. After all, they’ve been entwined longer than the bats know.

Tim when he was looking for Bruce:

Superman: talking to Batman is like talking to a brick wall, if that brick wall is somehow 10x smarter than you and has trust issues

Batman:*glares*

Superman: SEE-

Danny’s in Gotham for whatever reason be it school, work, or just for the weekend. His core by this point is fully developed and just projects calm & safety constantly cause he is constantly in a hero position back in Amity and both help him deal with people and ghosts. (Working doubly so for ghosts/ectoplasmic creatures cause they tend to need to feel it strongly for it to work on them). Anyways he comes across one of the batkids affected by the pits (Jason, Damian, Cass) who is currently very growly and violent and just yoinks them up by the back of their shirt/jacket/whatever like a disgruntled kitten.

The situation goes from a step away from violence to immediate confused and relaxed calm. Vigilante children go completely slack because WOW do they feel safe and calm right now.

Danny is too tired to notice anything other then the fact that: ghostly -> anger -> fight -> something he has to deal with

So once the area feels calm he just places whoever he grabbed gently on the ground pats their head and continues on his way. No context and by the time the bats get their heads in working order he’s already gone.

It is now a hunt to find this dude while Danny barely misses running into them by complete coincidence. He has no idea what he started and doesn’t even really remember the event cause he’s done that exact thing to calm situations down so many times in Amity that it doesn’t even register as something important to remember.

The batkids are actively pulling all the stops and just failing to find this guy. Bruce is not even involved it’s just the kids.

So we can all agree that Bruce Wayne/Batman is like the DC version of Tony Stark yea? (and vice versa)

A sidekick turned son (in Bruce’s case several+a son turned sidekick)

At least 1 staff member that is both their best friend as well as the sole reason they are not dead from their own stupidity yet(shut up, end game didn’t happen😭😭)

Differences:

Bruce Wayne is not a known hoe(he’s classy😩😩 he keeps his affairs quiet[pun very much intended])

Batman literally chooses to wear spandex like a maniac

I was playing ponytown w/ my bf and my pony skin thing was set to kokichi and it looked so horrid I had to draw them (my bf hates this sm I’m living)

Little kinda sad blurb

There’s a women who’s been coming to every Wayne gala since Bruce was a kid and every time she remarks about how much he’s grown. This time though he’s talking with Dick, Jason, and Tim no one knows how he convinced all three of them to show up. But she comes up and does the usual of how much Bruce has grown but she takes a look at Dick, Jason and Tim and gets a sad smile on her face and says you three boys look so much like Martha and Thomas, she pays her eyes with a tissue and walks away. All of them a bit surprised of course because the only one who should look like Martha and Thomas is Bruce. Bruce had tears in his eyes but no one comments on it ever and the three boys start to look for Martha Thomas’s features when they look in the mirror.

My take of Jason Todd in my style, whatever that is.

So I went thrifting today with a friend, we went to two different places.

The comics are the first two of the miniseries Batman the cult which is from 1988. The Batman and Robin Redbird is either from 1996 or 1997. The hot wheels is based off the original animated Batman series but is from 2021. I got everything for around 22 American dollars.

Violence is never the answer!……unless you’re Batman…..
