Holy shit, I know what gravity falls give most of a shit about right now. ITS MY COMPLETELY ORIGINAL AND INTERESTING OC THAT DEFINITELY ISN'T A PLACEHOLDER FOR THE THERAPY I WON'T GET FOR MY TRAUMA.

I doubt anyone actually gaf about them so for now I'll say they're named Iarna, they consider Mabel to the their best friend and, god, is my style inconsistent.

honestly so proud of this ✋😌. I'm also making MORE ART for golden glue and porcelain (@pickledchips, @goldenglueandporcelain) and to the lakes I hate it here (@conquestgoddess). I'm am so freaking obsessed, it is not healthy😭😭😭. Also also I'm trying to make myself as gravity falls character, and dear GOD IT IS NOT WORKING!!! I have a side shave and short hair, and for some unknown reason, I cannot draw that in gravity falls style :|. Frankly don't know why. Really annoying.

I MADE FAN ART FOR "I hate it here, so take me to the lakes" BY @conquestgoddess!!! IT'S FROM AFTER CHAPTER 16 (the last chapter written as of now) AND UGHHHHH IT'S SO GOOD😫!!! we're getting angst now in the story and I'm so happy. Personally, I hope we got some good ol' Bill starts to self deprecate because of what he did, so he isolates himself away from everyone and becomes almost a shell of himself because he hates what he did and Ford doesn't know what to do and then we have an emotional scene where Bill finally breaks down

My toxic trait in reading is when characters just spiral down in on themselves and then break down in the person's arm who they think wants them dead or hates them. Please please PLEASE if anyone has stories like them, givethemtomenow.

Context: The blue lip guy is my Gravity Falls oc Mack Bethany!! He used to be part of the Henchmaniacs before a heart attack took him out during a police chase. He and Lava lamp guy had a drunk fling during one of Bill's many parties and in the morning they both decided not to talk about it and are in perpetual "do I ACTUALLY like him??" limbo

Got bored and stressed like crazy these past few days and I really needed to focus on something nice and cosy so I went back drawing that girl ahah ><

I know it is of no valuable interest but still, it feels vetter to share it rather than to let it rot inside my phone as a nameless screenshot ahah X'3

Anyway, if Bill possesses Rania, this could be what would happen to her. She'd be somehow granted the gift of seeing it all, like a cosmic being, part of the stars and somehow becoming a constellation herself. However, she'd still get used by Bill as some henchwoman, to help him assure his dominance on Gravity Falls by hunting down every member of the Zodiac to stop people from trying to stop him.

In this version of the story, Ford escapes the bell tower with Dipper and hides with everyone else in the Shack. After Rania is sent there to capture them all, everyone splits and tries to hide away from her huntress form.

The more she is transformed like this and the more she loses herself and what makes her human, like sympathy, empathy, sadness, attachment etc. She's still Rania, but under a layer of complex feelings, so one would have to dig up her very core-self to bring her back to normal and to reason.

Her capacities include creating wormholes to move, like teleportation, and some sort of blackholes that are like pocket-timeless-prisons in which she keeps her "preys" until she get them locked up at the Fearamid.

Welcome to Gravity Falls

When she first arrived in Gravity Falls, Rania thought it would be safer not to tell her real name, and so she kept it a secret. She knew it was stupid -maybe she was being too paranoid- but she couldn't come with something better than "Mel Pomeni" as a fake name.

However, she would lose nothing trying to get to know the place better, especially since she's supposed to stay here for some time. She heard about the Shack, people told her it was some kind of weird museum. She loves antics, so nothing was stopping her from going there.

Plus... what could possibly happen ?

Summerween costume !

Rania is a huge fan of the Hex Girls even though they are from cartoons. She knows the songs by heart and she loves the whole "eco goth" vibe. She also loves music in general : she sings, she can go from alto to soprano thanks to her large vocal range and she even plays clarinet but she hasn't touched one for years now. Her favorite genre is probably jazz and she has a soft spot for klezmer when it comes to instrumental music.

So for Summerween, and since Mabel was insisting for her to join the whole celebration, she decided to dress as Thorn from the band (she had a big crush on her when she was younger). Dipper suggested a Fortune Teller as a joke and Mabel thought she would've done a very good witch but she wasn't comfortable with that last idea.

Of course, she didn't expect a big legendary Summerween Trickster to try to eat the kids !

A strange encounter

Alright so I'm redrawing this little thing because I rushed the last one and I wasn't fully satisfied with it so here I'm trying harder with the cartoon style ahah ><

Rania is very sensitive to energies and to places where such energies are to be found in higher proportions, mostly old places that accumulated a lot of things, would they be good or bad. Her eyes alone can't see them clearly unless the energy is very strong, so she uses her hagstone to help her find some trail, some hidden path and hidden things in general.

However, following the path deep into the forest, she didn't expect to find someone in that old crumbling church. Someone with such a... broken aura. It was like waves of uncertainty and mixed energies, all unbalanced and storming around that poor old man like lost birds trying to find their place to land, somewhere to go, a purpose to fulfill. It was too overwhelming and she couldn't stop a tear or two.

Churches never were a happy place anyway.

Okay so I've been kinda obsessing over Gravity Falls for the past week, and I've gotta say: seeing all these black oc's and self inserts makes me really feel like I belong ❤️

Ask Questions About Mati!?

So doing the concept art of Mati “impersonating” Stanley is taking a lot longer than I was hoping, Stan’s one my favorite characters so I it to look good which results in me creating too high standards, but don’t worry I’m still working on it.

For now though, you all can ask questions about Mati or my other characters (who haven’t been drawn yet). I’ll try to answer the best I can without giving too major spoilers.

Stanley Design

Sorry that it’s taking me so long this depiction of Mati impersonating other characters. Drawing human proportions are HARD, especially hands!

Anyway, here is my outline design of Stanley Pines:

I’m a bit wishy washy with the body since I wanted his belly to be more prominent, and I was having a hard time drawing his fez. I do have an outline without the fez:

I’m getting ready to do the outline of Mati’s Stanley and the coloring.

Who Should I “Mati-fy” Next?

So if you have seen my recent post, Mati has the ability to “impersonate” any individual that Mati has seen.

I used Mabel as an example, mainly because I like to imagine that Mabel befriended Mati when her & Mati first met.

This also gives me an excuse to “redesign” characters from the show.

I was gonna go through all the Pines, but I figured it would be fun to mix it up a bit.

So who should I “Mati-fy” next?

Mati has many abilities both known & unknown.

One of these abilities is that Mati is able to change Mati’s appearance to anyone that Mati has seen. However, the form is not a perfect replica, & most likely used for intimidation rather than “blending in”.

Mati is able to adjust & change the color/size/thickness of Mati’s body to mimic skin, clothing, accessories & hair; along with being able to form facial features like a mouth, teeth, nose & iris/pupils. However Mati is unable to form eyebrows, makeup & “natural” internal organs. Mati does have some difficulties forming shoes, resulting the impersonation’s feet to still look hoof-like.

First impressions with the Pines was not the greatest, then again, if you saw that wouldn’t you react the same way?

Another one of Mati’s abilities, that isn’t depicted above, is that Mati is able to mimic other’s voices. However this works differently to how this ability is normally explained.

Mati can hear & “store” the sounds of words that Mati has heard. Mati can then use these words to communicate. Imagine Bumblebee from Transformers but instead of using a radio, Mati’s repeating words that Mati has heard to communicate. Mati is able to “keep” words for about a couple of months, however Mati can keep words that hold emotional or sentimental value for as long as decades.

Should have seen Stanford’s face when he heard Stanley screaming his name, only to find Mati calmly standing there.

Also you may have noticed that no pronouns are used when describing Mati, this another one of Mati’s abilities. It feels natural to those who are affected by this, even Mati doesn’t know why this happens.

Mabel Design & What’s next?

I’m currently working on a character sheet that will show/explain a few of Mati’s powers/abilities. This upcoming one will have some uncanny valley sort of elements, which some might find disturbing.

I’ll be using Mabel, & the Pines in general, to showcase Mati’s abilities.

I’m still working on the sheet but for now, here’s an outline of my Mabel design:
