Spring had a rough day
So I've been stuck in art block and couldn't think of anything really to draw until I saw this image and decided to draw my oc Spring over it.
This sequence of photos shows Mr. Keating learning of Neil's situation over time.
In the first one, Neil's expressing his love for acting, and telling Mr. Keating that it's impossible to show his father what acting means to him. Mr. Keating's concerned for Neil, but is an optimist. He doesn't understand the terrible situation Neil is in, and believes that everyone can be changed for the better.
The next screenshot shows Mr. Keating talking to Neil about what he told his father, in regards to whether he's participating in the play or not. Mr. Keating has no reason to believe Neil's lying here, but can sense that Neil's desperation to act is growing. He suspects that something's going on with Neil, but doesn't have the heart to think that Neil's lying to him.
In the last scene, Mr. Keating witnesses Neil's father taking him away from the theatre, quite forcefully. Mr. Keating's not only scared for Neil, but sad because he realized that Neil lied to him. He finally saw the extent in which Neil needed to act, so much so that he'd lie to his mentors to do so.
No one saw his sucide coming, because Neil wouldn't let them. He suffered in silence, but contributed a yawp of a verse before leaving for better things.
Aldi didn't put any jam and now I'm stuck with an ordinary wheel.

but I gotta get this off my chest somehow. i am so exhausted and just came out of my first car accident with enough already on my plate. each time something goes well, something awful happens, and I just...give me a break to regenerate and blossom. we are thinking of a rent-a-car or entireprise(?) till then, but since it's the weekend, I guess we wait đ€·ââïž. any comments are still appreciated, funny ones more so. Is this adulthood đ«đ
P.S. I do want to add that I really do love this site and how happy it's made me is imaginable. Especially during those tiring moments.
I am terrified tonight.
Tonight, March 5th, my president talk to France. God, I am terrified.
What is going on in the world ? Between Russia, the US and now Europe ? Fuck, I am european. It terrifies me. He's talking about creating a european army, to 'defend'. But fucking hell ! you can just see he wants to go to war, so he can stay president longer !
I'm going to put what he said -cause I found it-, and put the translation for the non-french speakers : "Câest notre sĂ©curitĂ© qui est menacĂ©e. Si un pays peut envahir un autre en Europe, câest la paix qui est menacĂ©e" -It is our security that is threatened. If one country can invade another in Europe, peace is threatened- Yay, national security, how nice ! You're going to cost us. Even if he says that it wont, it will.
"La menace russe est lĂ , et touche les pays dâEurope. La Russie a fait du conflit ukrainien un conflit mondial" -The Russian threat is there, and affects the countries of Europe. Russia has made the Ukrainian conflict a global conflict- New world war ? Welp, I'm studying history. Never really intended to live what I'm studying...
"Qui peut croire que la Russie dâaujourdâhui sâarrĂȘtera Ă lâUkraineâ?" -Who can believe that today's Russia will stop at Ukraine?- They won't. Unfortunately, in my opinion, unless Putin dies -and even then, nothing is sure-, they will continue. They will be world war soon.

Mais l'avenir de l'Europe n'a pas Ă ĂȘtre tranchĂ© Ă Washington et Ă Moscou." -We remain committed to NATO, and to our partnership with the United States. But the future of Europe does not have to be decided in Washington and Moscow.- This is probably the thing I agree the most : peace shall not be made outside Europe. It is not a matter from the US to decide who's right and who's wrong. It is not to the US to decide who wins or not. But, arms race is not the answer either. Unfortunately, it seems we do no longer have a choice.
And you know what's even more terrifying ? My brother. He listen, arrived arround half the speech, and then tried to tell us that it was not so bad. That the world wasn't changing a super speed. That, no, our president wasn't trying, in subtext, to invite more people to join the army. He does not believe war can start that fast -we told him he could'nt wait 'till he finished his masters degree at the speed the world is moving, he doesn't want to believe us.
I am shaking, 45 minutes after the speech begun. I am terrified. I feel like I'm going to throw up. I am simply terrified. I would love this text to be one of my dystopian creation. Unfortunately, it is the world today. And fuck, I don't want to be in that world.

Life is a lot like a taco.
It keeps falling apart as you try to enjoy it, yet you're somehow always expected to shove it down you throat and say ''wow, this is good''. And sometimes...
It is! Its good, it beutiful, everything is coming together perfectly but other times...
Other times you just want it to end.
Just want it to stop falling apart.
Not want to eat it after some stupid kid throws it to the floor, stepps on it and says ''gosh your taco is pathetic''
But you have to take it, and keep eating the taco because if you wont, someone will take it... you might even let them take it. And when you do... you dont do anything anymore.
