Shitty Arthur Lester aesthetic: everyone always wants to be the narrative's favourite until it turns out that this is actually not a good thing for them. this goes double for when the narrative is lovecraftian in nature. guess what buddy there is yet more plot coming your way and it's in the form of tentacles, cults, and intestines

My two favorite parts of this episode were “John gets to experience a human connection” and “Arthur curb stomps a guy just to prove he can, probably.”
