It's a day late but it was before my motivation crashed, so yay. Now off to my other personal Huan-related projects.

Day 30: Season 5

First Impressions

A nice secret meeting before the start of season five. As I expected, LMK toned down the tensions of Li Jing and Nezha’s relationship. I only saw episodes 1, 2, 3, and 10 before YouTube copyrighted everything.

I was going to post both pages today then I got busy, so part 2 of the comic is coming out tomorrow.

This is my first time making comic pages so there is still room for improvement.

Warnings: cursing and mention of violent.

Day 29: Destiny

A mysterious crystal? Long have scales on his arm? Why does Huan look sad?

Wait till day 30 to find out.

Day 27: Underworld

“...What?”

Expression is not my best skill but it should do for now. So more lore for Huan. Child Huan has long hair while adult Huan has shorter hair, I know it is a bit hard to tell their hair length because I make them fluffy.

The background belongs to Flying Bark Productions.

Day 26: Compassion

This drawing is filled with so many oc lores but it got cut because Huan stood behind Tang.

Tang have my sympathy in this episode.

Huan: MK didn’t mean it, have a snack. You’ll feel much better.

Tang:…thanks Huan.

Day 24: Faith

Blind Faith

Is it me or is MK's blind faith in Sun Wukong a bit...dangerous?

Seriously, the whole time the gang was looking for the rings MK never once grew suspicious of Sun Wukong's plan, or when Sun Wukong was unwilling to elaborate more on it. I know MK looks up to him and all that.

Huan already doesn't trust the Monkey King; Sun Wukong wasn't very helpful in season 2 or when MK needed his guidance and Huan picked up on that for a while now. So, Sun Wukong is on Huan dislike list...for now.

P.S: Huan is looking at Sun Wukong, the direction of where Huan is looking is a little off.

Day 23: Pain

Past Action

Fun fact, an incident when Huan was still a little kid made him unconsciously reject his dragon side and powers. This play a large role in season 4.

Day 22: Friendship

Guess who got scammed into a hangout with the frenemies, Redson that who.

My motivation to finish coloring is down, so here is this drawing. This was actually the original drawing for day 12: acceptance but it looks better with the friendship prompt, so I kept this for day 22 and made a new drawing for day 12. That is one of the reasons why the body proportion looked different from the last drawing, and my inability to recreate the same body proportion.

Happy Pride Month everyone!

I wanted to sneak one pride month drawing in since it seem like I won't have time to do one outside of the drawing challenges. This drawing was inspired by a real-life conversation I had with my Asian parent, though it was about trans and gay.

???: At least being in the Mortal Realm helps him express himself more.

???: I found the mortal snacks Huan hid…but did the writing on the broad change?

???: Oh that, Father said something, and now…Huan is like this.

???: Father look so…indifferent.

???: I watched as Huan almost bashed a chair over his head as he turned away.

???:…wait, Huan can lift a chair?

???: I know! I was surprised about it too. It seems going to the Mortal Realm is doing him some good after all.

Day 20: Crossover!

Mystic x LMK / Ninjago x LMK

The top is very much canon since that character is a main oc from my main blog. The Ninjago x LMK is just a hopeful idea since Ninjago is the only other Lego franchise that I watch.

Day 19: Hope

Is it me, or does the team rescue Sun Wukong a lot?

Mei:...Huan is that you?

Huan: Yup! you know just enjoying my dragon powers...

Tang: You're stuck, aren't you?

Huan: Very much so...

Nezha: Weren't you much bigger?

Huan: ...Maybe...

I swear, I make it so much harder on myself by drawing a dragon for this insert. As usual, I don't know if I will keep this design.

Huan: Oh hey Long look! It the family portrait! Wow…why is Father and Brothers wearing such exquisite clothes?

Long: knowing Father, it’s something petty.

Surprise, surprise, the new new oc was someone related to Huan!

The design for the three new characters might change. Since this portrait of the family goes back long before the current LMK timeline.

Man this took way to long, drawing out all five figures was hard.

I’m not chinese so I try to be as accurate with the clothing as I can, please let me know if I made mistakes on anything.

Well, I’m playing catch-up now. I wanted angst and here it is. This drawing would look so much better if I had the urge to do a better background, which is nonexistent at the moment.

This scene take place after the defeat of LBD, where the whole group was having a camp out after the battle.

Huan: He doesn’t like public bathing very much…not after the incident. So he won’t be joining us for this beach party.

Day 12: Acceptance

I’m a day late but here the drawing!

Huan: come on the Mortal Realm isn’t that bad.

This is 200 years before the current time of LMK. Huan went to the Mortal Realm and is enjoying him, while his company is still very much not please of being drag to the Mortal Realm. He accepted it about 200 years later.

I believe you can make pretty accurate guesses of who the new face is and what his relationship with Huan.

Day 11: Heart

What The Heart Wants

A very old picture of Huan mom and dad, more precisely of their mom. Their parents relationship wasn’t viewed positively by the other inhabitants of Celestial Realm, except for the Jade Emperor. But that is a story for another time.

P.S: design might or might not change later. Also height in this drawing isn’t drawn to scale, just think of him being that small because of magic.

Day 2: Journey

MK Origin

During S1, I thought that MK powers came from the Monkey King staff. It made sense and S2 last episode confirmed that for me, since after LBD took the staff MK lost his powers. Then during S3, MK was shown to still have his powers but weaker. Then the thought of Wukong being MK dad cross my mind but I threw it out.

MK have similar power to Wukong.

MK can wield the staff.

Then I thought of how Wukong was born….then I forgot about it. At the end of S3 special, LBD call MK “monkey” or maybe it was “monkie” I didn’t think much about it.

S4 came out and everything came into place, they were really setting poor MK up for emotional distress cause…he really freaked the heck out. Now S5…

So, MK and Wukong was created by the same goddess are they like brother now?
