Every day I get a little bit closer to wanting to do and host a massive tumblr art trade art blog event that's like Art Fight but for proshippers and is like CreativeClash but I'm the one in charge and doing it and hosting the fun team theme polls and stuff pensive 😔

They're more than content and happy to just be with you, as long as you're comfortable that's all that matters. Just know that just because they're secret doesn't make your relationship with them any less real nor does it take away from how precious the connection is. Hi anon I hope I'm understanding your question correctly 😭 I don't even really know how to put my experience into words properly but it's kind of like I present as a female/femininely in the more social aspect of things but in the mental aspect I don't feel like female (or strictly female at least) aligns with how I feel on the inside y'know. There's kind of like a void somewhere in the spectrum inside of me where the concept of binary gender as a whole doesn't feel right whether it's male or female but female at least feels somewhat right to an extent, because as I said I present in a feminine way. But it's a little complicated because I also don't naturally assign gender to things, what others see as feminine/female clothing for example, are just clothes to me- they look nice and I like how I look in them, but I've never thought of it as something for females, like I could see anyone wearing the kind of clothing I wear and it'd still just be plain and simple clothes without the 'feminine' attached to it- and this could apply to anything where people see that thing as gender-aligned. I try to consider a lot of things from a more general societal standpoint (how most people gender things I mean, I didn't really feel anything was 'gendered' until I had to learn how others perceived things in those ways if this makes sense) which has definitely caused me confusion and trouble over how I identify and to be honest I'm not even sure if the demigirl label is something I'll forever stick with either? Even after so many years of exploring and trying to understand this aspect of myself it's still a 'work in progress' 😭 Gender or the lack-thereof is supposed to be a personal experience, something a part of your own identity and being and not something that society, or anyone else for that matter, gets to influence or determine but I'm a hypocrite for saying that when I know it's influenced how I identify so. I kind of really don't have the words to properly describe how I experience my gender but I try to consider it in a way that'll be less confusing for others I guess. I'm unsure of if you have an issue because I'm non-sharing with them or if it's because I'm proship but whatever issue you have with me you can always just block me. I'm going to assume the issue is the non-sharing aspect since you pointed that out, I feel like if it were a proship issue you'd have said this about all of my f/os lol, but I have no ill will in any way shape or form towards others who selfship with them. I support their relationship existing I just don't want to see it. I hold no attraction to real people, I'm just attracted to fictional characters or whatever so Jumin and Caleb feel like a real relationship to me if you get what I mean. I've loved Jumin since mysmes first came out (2016, almost 9 years now, of course there's an attachment) and Caleb just hit me hard even before he came out as a love interest, so I mean. Yeah. I think they want to be with me 😭 But it's not like a selfshipper needs to have some deeper reason for being non-sharing, if they're non-sharing then they're non-sharing and that's that. If you're uncomfortable with that you can always block them. Have a good day/night anon.

Nonsharing proselfshippers here's your little reminder to take a few minutes off the screen and imagine your f/o / partner holding you close, reminding you that you matter and that your love will always be the most precious to them. They can't imagine being in a world without you, their love for you runs deeper than the blood in their veins, a portion of their beating heart will forever belong to you, even if it weren't beating. No matter how many times they tell you they love you, they mean it more and more every single time. I know it can be tough online for one reason or another, but always remember no matter your circumstances- whether you own merch or you don't, whether you post about your f/o or you don't, whether you're able to make art or you can't, your relationship will always be real and true. Take it easy, they love you so much and nothing will change that.

Hi ily proshippers who have demonized disorders, I don't care what the disorder is, there is no exception here. You are just as valued and accepted here as anyone else. No I do not think you're an evil person just for having the disorder, I think you're a human being like all of us are and just because you have that disorder doesn't mean you are any less of a human being. 'Oh but NPD-' 'Oh but ASPD-' 'Oh but---' no no, NO disorder is excluded on my blog. Stop letting people and big media industries make you think that everyone who has these disorders are inherently evil and harmful people, this will only cause more harm. I really adore the proship darkshippers/darkfic creators who go out of the canon and interpret characters however the hell they want to. The ones who are feral about it and either make an already villainous character worse or make a canonically heroic or innocent character batshit insane. I'm saying all of this for a reason, it's fun and interesting, and I'm actually really interested in knowing what you guys do to make your favorite characters or ships worse too, if you do that, that is. This is a safe space to rant about all the interesting and creative thoughts you have about that; the what ifs, the complexities, the alternate universes, the dark gruesome gut wrenchingly vile scenarios, etc; I'd like to hear all about it. No matter if it 'fits canon' or not. It's so cool to see how people interpret characters compared to their canon sources. There's no limit to what your mind can come up with and I want you all to have the space to jot it down and tell someone about it. The creativity and imagination you guys hold will always be appreciated whether you know it or not.

Also, if you're a proshipper who doesn't indulge in dark fiction feel free to still do the same with this post, it absolutely does not need to be dark and gruesome to be written and expressed. I'll be interested either way to see your own interpretations of things. Make them worse, make them better, change them into something completely different, put them in any scenario you want- good, bad, sweet and fluffy or whump and pure angst or a complex mix of both, turn them into a completely unrecognizable celestial being even though they're canonically just some average joe, have fun and do whatever you want forever.

I get really confused when an openly proship blog follows me but they reblog from a bunch of antis, I'm really unsure of if they just don't check people's blogs therefore they're reblogging those posts because said posts don't have proship dni on that specific post (I've seen especially a lot of selfship posts that have no indication of if proshippers can interact or not but their dni is on their pinned, so if it's just some random post on your feed like that it seems like there isn't a need to check the blog etcetc), or if they're, y'know, an anti posing as a proshipper 😭 I don't want to block someone over a misunderstanding since I like making mutuals but it's quite confusing. I moot a lot of people who follow me so if I haven't it's probably because of this misunderstanding (if it is a misunderstanding) and feel free to dm me to let me know, but also if possible please check dnis on people's blogs if you reblog/interact with them very frequently. I get it if they just don't have their dni in an easily accessible spot/you need to go through loops to find their dni but if their dni is on their pinned and you reblog from them frequently I'll probably misunderstand due to the nature of antis posing as proshippers. Sorry 😭 I also try not to moot people who purposely break dnis too so I also can't tell if it's done on purpose when it's done so much. It's just confusing for me, I might even sound a little silly right now but 😭

Hi anon, I'm glad you asked, I felt like I needed to elaborate on that more since I started to realize it could cause some confusion/misunderstandings oops 😭 What I mean by saying that, is that when you are proship, you are aware that every ship deserves to exist in fiction, whether or not it's something you like, right? But I'm saying that shouldn't translate to what you believe should be okay to exist IRL, as in you know, for example, incest ships are okay to exist in fiction because it's fictional, no real person is being hurt, and though maybe it's not your cup of tea, you'll just block it and move on knowing it's okay for it to exist in it's fictional realm. But you shouldn't believe it's okay for that sort of relationship to exist in real life. I'm sure most people know this, y'know, but just in case. I see a lot of people who only think things shouldn't exist for the simple fact it disgusts them or makes them 'cringe' and it's to the point those things shouldn't exist IRL because it causes harm to real people, so if someone happens to not be disgusted by that kind of relationship IRL, maybe because they know it's okay it exists in fiction, and decides it's okay for that relationship to exist IRL just as much as it's okay for it to exist in fiction, then that's just not something I can agree with, so I put that disclaimer so people know right off the bat that everything I'm supportive of in dark fiction does not correlate to what I see as acceptable IRL, plus proship and profiction is purely for fiction in this regard- everything deserves to exist in fiction, as it causes no harm to real people. Though, I don't go out harassing anyone of course, this is the stance of a proshipper; antiharassment, I just block people who have views that are too contradictory to mine for me to get along with. If I ever felt someone was at risk of doing harmful things IRL I'd report them as needed and then block. All in all it's just a disclaimer for people to know if I'm someone they can interact with or not. This isn't to say I'm just strictly against paraphiles by the way, I do think there's a difference between someone holding a harmful attraction and getting help for it and knowing it's NOT okay to have that kind of relationship IRL so they don't pursue it, versus thinking it's okay to have that relationship IRL and/or pursuing it (therefore causing a real person harm), but this part mostly ties into my anti-contact stance. I hope this all makes sense and if you need anything else to be elaborated on please do ask! I like to avoid misunderstandings as much as possible and am always open to explaining anything that needs to be elaborated on. Think of that 'there's no such thing as a stupid question' saying because that's what I believe in lol

Hi anon, I'm sorry you were misinformed oh no 😭 Yes, proship is anti-harassment and anti-censorship especially for fictional ships. I assume you're referring to my post explaining the whole 'It's darkship not proship' situation, and as I mentioned in that post people can be a darkshipper and still not be a proshipper, because proship is just the whole anti-harassment part. You aren't obligated to like anything being a proshipper, it's just your actions towards other real, living people that determine if you're proship or antiship. I hope it's all cleared up, antis do (very frequently) incorrectly describe what proship is, unfortunately. Thank you for the ask anon and I hope you have a lovely day!

Hi sorry I'm coming across some posts of people being confused if proship means 'problematic ship' and people misusing the term proship FOR problematic ship who call themselves a proshipper, I think I've even used proship as a broad term on my blog to INCLUDE people who are darkship, who are still proship, since I think many of my followers are darkshippers, but I've been trying to make sure I say 'proship darkshippers' instead to avoid confusion, but. Proship is 'for shipping', pro = for. It's anti-harassment with fictional ships, the idea that every fictional ship deserves to exist without the enjoyers of said ship being harassed for it no matter the nature of the ship and no matter if that ship isn't your cup of tea. Blocking instead of harassing if it's a ship you dislike and not looking at the content made of that ship but keeping in mind that just because you dislike it doesn't mean it shouldn't exist in fiction, things like that. Profiction is the same concept except replace ships/shipping with fiction in general, once again pro = for. Darkshipping/darkfiction (or some people use the phrase 'dead dove do not eat', dead dove being the indicator that the media has dark content in it) is the term used for when a ship or a piece of fictional content has dark ideas incorporated into it. Like incest, non-consensual sex, adult x minor/loli/shota, etc.

Now here's the fickle part. A person can in fact be a darkshipper and enjoy dark fictional content and still not be a proshipper. A proshipper does not NEED to be a darkshipper, they are just anti-harassment. A darkshipper can, let's say, like incest ships, but if they dislike minor x adult ships, and they decide to harass someone who does enjoy those ships and believe that minor x adult ships shouldn't exist because they think it's 'too far' or 'too gross', they are not proship. Alternatively, someone could be very uncomfortable by any sort of darkship, they only like ships that have healthy dynamics and never incorporate dark ideas into their ships, but they don't harass people who do indulge in darkships and don't believe in the censorship of said ships just because they don't like it (they block and curate their online experience to fit their boundaries instead of going out of their way to harass people who break said boundaries). That person is a proshipper. So to reiterate, proship does not mean problematic ship, darkship is the term you're looking for. Now, knowing how words tend to change overtime in communities, perhaps I'm wrong or I've stated some incorrect information, and if I have please correct me 😭 but if not, I hope this all makes sense and helps at least someone out whose been confused.

Just a reminder that 1. You owe absolutely nobody an 'explanation' on why you enjoy dark fictional content and 2. You don't NEED to indulge in dark fictional content for the sole purpose of coping with trauma/processing trauma for it to be a valid use of your time and attention. If you do, that's wonderful and I'm so glad it provides you with that comfort, but it isn't an obligation to be able to enjoy it. Have fun with it, and please don't let what others say make you feel like you need to explain yourself, or that you need to be doing it for trauma related reasons, because that isn't true. Okay? tbh ive been neutral on the whole proship antiship discourse for a long while now but seeing how you handle anti asks and your explanation on the most recent one is making me consider downright saying im proship. i never thought of it as dolls, but when you said it it clicked in my mind because its true? either way ive never been someone who harassed people. thank you for this blog op.

Hi anon, proship has always been anti-harassment especially towards fictional ships, just like profiction is the broader term for being anti-harassment with all things fictional. Basically, ship and let ship, don't like don't look, blocking instead of harassing, things of this nature. So if your views align with this, you're probably proship, BUT It's totally fine to not want to label yourself, you don't need to call yourself proship even if your views are adjacent to the label. Not everyone wants to be actively involved in communities or use labels. But if you are wanting to be apart of the community or call yourself proship, we're glad to have you! And even if not, it's nice to know you aren't someone who will harass others over their fictional preferences, and you are still welcome here of course. Thank you for the ask anon, take care!

As someone that also has terrible OCD, anti shippers made it so much worse than proshippers ever did. Even if I’m very uncomfortable with some concepts they’re fictional and often tagged, that’s been a lot easier to avoid than people trying to enforce the idea that thoughts or stories make you evil
