My progress (and redesigns) of Dawn'glider over the past 9 months!

I've been wanting to do this for a long time, basically, I didn't like too much the first design of Flex ( the last image), so I decided to make a few changes, mostly because I felt it looked a bit like vaporeon, and to simplify its color palette as well . This is my reimagining of one of the guardians from the video game Kameo. In the original design he had big fangs, although they weren't used for attacking, so I decided to exaggerate it even more XD In this reimagining Flex would swim like otters, but would also use electricity in his attacks, his paws instead of having pads would be frog-like, so he could stick to certain surfaces to move around.

Small Hazbin Hotel redesigns

It’s been a year since last one, I am great with making something frequently /j

This time with Cherri Bomb, because… it’s pretty bad fams. It’s too crowded and doesn’t give any hints what character is (and the foot without a shoe. I’m dying inside)

I know, I could do better. Let me explain thought process

First off - I wanted to draw attention to her face, so I made rest of the body muted and dark, while face being white with light accents. I made red and blue most occuring colours with yellow accents to make her clash (you know, free spirit, bombs. I’m bad at explaining). I could make clothes lighter, I messed up on this part. They are too muted now hah.

When it comes to fashion itself I tried to find insirations in punks and skinheads. She reminds me of this subcultures character-wise and punk subculture mostly goes well with energetic, anarchistic people (punk is litterally about anarchy). Instead of this one bare foot I gave her two different shoes. Also ripped clothes, because fights.

In the upper left corner you can see her make-up. I needed to incorporate this after watching edgerunners (I know, I’m easily influenced).

And yes, spiliting mouth. Give me some body horror elements.

Also- she’s buff now. She needs muscles. Viv give us more body variety within main cast and more „logical” body building. If somebody fights a lot and throws stuff they will have muscles on arms.

There’s not much more to say, because we don’t really know much about her and I had no idea how to make it work heh.

I need to go back to drawing again and expand my creativity a little bit, so I came up with trying to redesign hazbin cast with first one being Vaggie.
