Happy birthday to these two bois: Natsuo and Hitoshi!!

Natsuo is crying when Tomura finds him. The smaller man at first just looks at him for a long time, unable to process the image in front of him. Later, he rages, scratching his neck, wanting to destroy something, whatever made Natsuo, wide-shining-smile Natsuo, cry. That rage crumbles into shame when he tries to talk, not knowing what to say and realizing he doesn't know what to do.

Another long time happens before his hand tries to reach to the medic student's shoulder, only to stop himself while he was calling for the attention of his boyfriend. What if he hurts him by accident?

Shigaraki : Natsuo?

Natsuo : T-Tomura! How long have you been there?

Shigaraki : Not so long, I just arrived.

He lies, and he doesn't even know why he is lying, but again, he doesn't know what he should be saying right now. Should he pretend he didn't notice and give Natsuo space? Should he call Toga, Spinner and/or Twice? (Those three would do this, whatever this is, better) At the end, he just can ask what is wrong.

Shigaraki : Are... Are you alright?

"Of course he is not, you dumbass! He is crying!" Is what his brain replies.

Natsou : I'm fine, it's just.... I miss my brother.

Shigaraki : You... miss your brother?

At first, Tomura doesn't understand. Then, the image of Dabi avoiding his boyfriend invades his head.

Shigaraki : H-Hey, Natsuo. You really shouldn't pay so much mind to Dabi's words, h doesn't. He is just a son of a bit- I mean, without offending your mother, you already know him.

Natsuo : Do I?

No, he doesn't. He knew Touya, he knew his brother, he knew a child that burned down to the ashes after being abused and neglected for his whole life.

Dabi? Dabi is a dead man, but he is not Touya, and Natsuo can't help but feel guilt of wanting.... wanting Touya out of Dabi.

The red eyed man decides to sit besides Natsuo, they don't touch nor look at each other, the silence is akward. Tomura still tries to find his words after taking a deep breath, here we go with the sentimental monologues.

Shigaraki : ....... Dabi is... complicated. He is fucked up, like everyone else that decided it was a good idea to get out of our rooms just to go "fuck the heroes" as a life motto. But I know that he doesn't mean to hurt us, he has our backs.

Natsuo : Yeah, I know. He just gave me the "if you hurt him, you're dead" talk.

Shigaraki : - HE DID WHAT?!

The villain seemed confused, flustered, angry, surprised, scared, shy and many other emotions that should not be able to be together at the same time. But there he is, eyes and mouth wide open, face and neck red, trembles in his body. . .

It feels.... nice. It actually feels nice the idea that Dabi would go as far to threat his own brother for him, but it also feels... bad. It's weird, and Natsuo is sad.

The league are the family he never had, most of them feel it that way, and for one side having his co-worker/co-leader/friend/brother whatever having his back, as he said, is really nice. But there is also the fact that he had to take Natsuo's brother to have his.

Natsuo : I just... don't know. I will get over it, I guess. I mean, you just said it, it's not like he wants to hurt any of us, I was just too hopeful.

Shigaraki : Well, nobody should have too many hopes on Dabi. But... Natsuo, he doesn't hate you. You know that, right?

"My name is Dabi, Todoroki!"

Natsuo : He... doesn't?

Just now they look at each other in the eyes and Tomura can see just how insecure, how small, how abandoned Natsuo feels. The villain does the best he can to smile, the shape in his lips is not as big as his boyfriend's, it's also shy and nervious, but it's sincere.

Shigaraki : You would not be here if he did. Maybe.... maybe just try again later? When, you know, both of you are ready.

That. . . Is actually a good idea. Good job Tomura, Kurogiri would be proud! Damn, he is proud of himself.

Natsuo : Yeah, maybe you are right.

The Todoroki seems... better. Better is good. Tomura can't help but look at his own hands. Maybe he will be able to not decay this.

Shigaraki : Now tell what did he say to know how angry I should be.

Natsuo : . . . Do I have to?

Shigaraki : YES

Tomura looks worried at his hands, not doing anythig else at the bar. He remembers how Natsuo accepted to try and date him just a week ago, and he still can't believe it. It feels so unreal, like it's going to disappear any time soon, or worse, his very same hands will turn it into ashes, both figuratively and literally. Dabi is just passing by when he sees his leader, hating the vulnerable state the white-haired man is in.

Dabi : Hand-job, we all know you are such a hand-freak, no need to make this even more dramatic.

Sarcasm and insults are the only way he knows how to deal with emotions, so even when he knows he shouldn't be saying those kind of things, he does anyways.

Shigaraki : What are you doing here? Did Toga and Twice finally got bored of your burned ass?

Then again, the league understands. They are as broken as him, so there he is accepted. Might even try not to die when he kills that flaming trashcan he called father.

Might even treasure this moments where Jin and him drink and smoke, goes around with Toga to kill people and steal food and clothes (she wants piercings, but he is still not sure if he wants to take her), Compress and him talking about nonsense and pulling dramatic stunts, Spinner and him talking about Stain (not Toga, he likes the kid but she is creepy about crushes) and how corrupted the hero society is, and of course, how his leader lets him be. Sometimes they're just insulting each other, but they are both comfortable and having fun, other times they talk about the attacks, being both leaders (Dabi still doesn't know how THE FUCK he leads) and they feel this strange... respect from the other, this support.

Dabi : At least is better than yours.

Shigaraki : Let me remind you, your brother seems to like this ass.

The disgust on the ex-Todoroki makes the younger one laugh. At least someone is having fun with his misery. Even though part of the disgust is more because of the fact the medic student knows his identity and goes around visiting the league, putting them all in danger during the process. What if the Todoroki find out?

Dabi doesn't hate Natsuo, but.... Natsuo asks for too much. He remembers how the younger almost started crying, calling him Touya. Who the fuck is Touya? Todoroki Touya is dead, and even if he wasn't, Touya was a worthless, useless child that ran around adoring of the asshole he called father, wanting his attention like a whore. He hates Touya, he doesn't want to be Touya.

He is Dabi, from the League of Villains.

Dabi :(annoyed) Did he say something? Do something? To you, I mean.

Shigaraki : The fuck, are you in drugs again or something? It's just.... (looks at his hands again) nothing....

Dabi likes what he has know, and will not lose it. He will defend it. And so he does talk to Natsuo, even though he has been avoiding him ever since the first time the larger male tried to talk to him after finding out who he was. White haired finds himself smiling, with hope on his eyes, hope that the black-haired one wants to burn down.

Dabi : Hey, you made sure you weren't followed, right? Didn't tell your siblings or anyone.

Natsuo : Not, I didn't. Wish I could, though. Fuyumi would like to know you are alive, To-

Dabi :(interrupting) Yeah, it's not about that I want to talk.

Natsou : Then what is it.

Dabi hits the wall besides them, then fires up a hand that he puts between them. Natsu blinks a few times in disbelief, is he being threatened by Touya?

Dabi : It's about Shigaraki. Hurt him, and you are dead. Did I make myself clear?

Like Endeavor. Touya is behaving like Endeavor, and Natsou feels a little scared. But more than scared, he is sad.

Natsuo : I promise you, I will not do such thing.

Dabi : You better not. The hero society has already fucked us up too much. No need to add the son of a hero to the list.

Even though the flames are gone and the criminal has relaxed his body language, Natsuo doesn't feel any better.

Natsuo : Touy-

Dabi : My name us Dabi, Todoroki!

Both of them freeze, with that surname, the black haired realized he crossed a line, but he doesn't know how to apologize, specially with the broken look on Natsuo's eyes. Then again, the fact that he has them is a reminder of what Natsou is not. He is not part of the league, not part of his family.

Dabi : Don't forget it ever again.

The younger man feels like an idiot, of course Tou- Dabi doesn't want to be back. All this time he has hoped to get back his big brother, but know for the first time, realizes that is not that Touya needed space to think as he believed, he just wasn't there anymore. Even so, he smiles to the stranger, a brave smile.

Natsuo : Of course...

Dabi : Whatever, I'm going to look for the crazy one. Just hope she didn't end up in jail just becauae I didn't get her a damn piercing.

As Dabi leaves, Natsuo remembers how his big brother was so small, how he burned alive, how he always came cying on him. Why would Touya want to be back, having the league. Dabi might be still small compared to Natsuo, might atill burn alive... but he would never go to cry on the Todoroki. Not to be ignored again.

Natsuo really lost his brother, didn't he?

What are natsuo and shouto like in your au?

I did not read this haha, Sorry Anon but it took me a while to figure this out. I do think that they are different, considering the trauma of losing their sister and leaving TOUYA to raise them would result in the same yet completely different people

I do think that they are kinda grittier and less forgiving people. Especially towards Enji, because Touya is definitely still a hater, even if he stops fighting with him after a certain point

Shoto is similar enough to canon (Mostly because I do not have the greatest hold on his character so far). I do think he'd be a bit more closed off and cusses a bit more often

Natsuo is also generally similar, but I imagine he'd be a lot more avoidant of the whole family situation. He's the kinda sibling that you see once in a full blue moon once he goes to university.

There was a period where He and Shoto were kinda the only ones at the house after the Sekoto Incident because Touya was still in the hospital and Fuyumi was 'dead', so some trauma and heavy realization was coming from that. He is also a bit more closed off and resentful but overall he's pretty damn similar

Natsuo still visits and comes to support in Shoto's school events because 'It's what Fuyumi would've wanted' (Which all of them use)
