I'm gonna limit this to things I've worked on in the last six months. Not all of them actually have titles so have brief descriptions instead.

2. 5+1 fake frat boy Alex

— is basically the five times all signs point to Alex's reputation of being a frat boy, and the one time Henry finds out the truth behind it himself. (The truth being that he's just really an animal shelter volunteer who obtains all kinds of possible scratches and minor injuries from animal-related activities. LMAO.) It's mostly light-hearted and meme-ish. Here's a snippet instead since I've been sharing a bunch of this already.

The second time Alex's bad boy reputation is brought up, it’s when he makes his way through the cafeteria door with a number of bandages on one side of his face. Donning them like they were little scars of triumph.

Now, Henry is only about twenty percent convinced Alex is actually some mafia/biker gang/fraternity member — he's still adamant on not falling victim to everyone else's opinions about Alex's true nature, lest Alex is actually just a gravely misunderstood individual who actually has a heart of gold beneath his varsity jackets that always wrap around his figure.

3. ATLA AU

— As the working title¿ states, YES I MEAN Avatar: The Last Airbender. I'll give you some of the details about it since it follows the show's progression, which I know YOU'RE already familiar with a Good Amount. It will be multi-chaptered so I don't have an estimate on when I'll ever finish this yet, just that it exists (partially) as of now.

Context: A rewrite of the first meeting between Matt and Foggy as the beginning of a coming out fic I'm working on.

It's mostly the same, just slightly less focused on the whole maverick and goose thing...

Last Line Challenge

Not actually the last thing I wrote, but the last unposted thing.

From an unposted Matt/Foggy College AU:

Foggy sighed, and Matt knew he had caught onto the pause that was Matt thinking about his old mentor. But even though Foggy didn’t know what he wasn’t saying, they had known each other long enough for him to know that asking would just make the problem worse.

Once again asking, because all of these are really interesting, and i loved your fics! I'm really interested in 'Blind Hawkeye and Deaf Daredevil' 👀

Okay, I can't say too much about that one, because it's part of something else.

But it's pretty much what it says on the tin.

This is a universe something between Comic and MCU canon, Matt and Clint are Vigilantes and work with each other and the other Heroes.

They know each others identities, Matt knows Clint is Deaf and Clint knows Matt's blind. Everything pretty standard until there.

But that's where I'll just let two snippets speak for themselves:

Matt's POV:

When Matt woke up and opened his eyes, the morning sun was shining right into his face and blinding him. He squeezed his eyes shut again and threw an arm over his face with a groan. He lay motionless, cursing the morning light, before noticing something was wrong. It took him a moment to realise that he was not supposed to be able to even see the light, much less his bedroom or the city outside. Slowly, he pulled his arm away and gave himself a moment to adjust to the unfamiliar sensation of light shimmering through his closed eyelids. After a few seconds, he turned away from the window before he dared to open his eyes again. When he did, his brain couldn’t quite translate the new signals yet, and everything just looked like blotches of light and dark and different colours. Matt blinked a few times, trying to get his eyes used to the brightness and focus on his surroundings. Very slowly, things started to make more sense. Blotches turned into shapes, and shadows turned into depth. After a while, Matt was able to recognise his surroundings, even though everything was still a little blurry. Still distracted Matt decided to get up and make some coffee to try to fully wake up before he called anyone. Maybe everything would make a little more sense then. He sat up in bed, pushed the covers off him, and swung his legs out of the bed with a soft thump when his feet hit the ground. Except there was no thump.

Clint's POV:

On the other side of the East River, in Bed-Stuy, a car horn pulled Clint from deep sleep. He jumped internally and opened his eyes at once. When he was greeted with pure darkness instead of the familiar sight of his bedroom ceiling, he started to panic. The car outside honked again, and a few seconds later, people started to shout. Overwhelmed by the noise, Clint grabbed at his ears and tried to rip his hearing aids out. The panic threatened to suffocate him again when he found nothing. The blonde turned and tried to drown out the sounds with his pillow, but it only muffled them and added the rustling of fabric and filling to the mix. Clint began to hyperventilate as memories of the circus, of fights that were loud enough for him to hear even without aids, and of people yelling at him for not understanding them combined with the strange mix of auditory overload and a complete lack of visual signals.  Quickly, he spiralled.

From there, a lot of questions have to be answered and problems to be solved and Clint and Matt both have to face a whole new challenge.

But like I said, I don't want to give away too much just yet.

WIP game: coffee shop au, please!

(All of these look really interesting! 👀)

I'm not completely happy with the execution, but the basic Idea is a Coffee Shop AU (duh), probably no Powers, where Clint, Maya Lopez, Bucky and probably others work in a Café that specializes in accessibility. It's close to the University and Foggy has been going there for a while. He recommended it to Matt mostly because he's trying to set him up with Clint and that's where the story starts right now.

Like I said, I'm not happy with it yet and I still have to figure out the logistics and accommodations a Café like that would need.

But anyway, here's the first few paragraphs:

On a cold morning in early December, Clint was standing behind the counter of Double Shot Coffee. The typical morning crowd was already mostly gone, and Clint finally had a moment to drink his own coffee and chat with his coworker. Bucky had taken over the morning shift for Maya, and since their schedules usually didn’t line up, they had a lot to catch up on. While complaining about a professor who wouldn’t stop bugging him, Bucky stopped mid-sentence and signed "Bell." Clint looked over to the door and saw a young man enter. He was wearing a warm winter coat and dark-tinged glasses. At first, Clint was confused about the sunglasses on a cloudy day until he noticed the white cane the man was holding in his gloved right hand. He frowned and turned to complain to Bucky, but the latter was on his way to one of the tables to help a customer. Clint didn’t have a choice but to take the new guy's order himself. It wasn’t that he had a problem with blind people, because he really didn’t. The thing was just that he really didn’t want to talk today. He took a long sip of his coffee, preparing to talk to the guy. As usual, he didn’t wear his hearing aids; the café specialised in accessibility, after all, so he didn’t need them most of the time. The only times when he regretted being so uncomfortable just talking to his customers were situations like right now, when he had blind customers and no one was around to deal with them but him.
