A mini project I did based on a wedding I attended in a dream š
The Knightās final design is a combination of the two versions I uploaded šĀ
Although Iām not very satisfied with how I painted the illustration, I learned a lot andĀ the app werble is pretty awesome.
Harry Potter.
Another forgotten one from a year ago (2016) deep in the drawings folder.
Jiro.
As I continue to get to know Jiro over the past few months, I continually discover more and more wonderful things about him and so Iām very excited to finally get to fully share such a wonderful person with everyone. I hope you find him as interesting as I find him wonderful.
Jiroās story is the story of the supporting character in everyone elseās.Ā
One of the most defining characteristics of Jiro, and one of the things I admire most about him, is how great of a support he is to those around him. He may seem scatter-brained and out of it most of the time so he doesnāt come across as reliable (in fact heāsĀ probably coming across as the character, the child, who has to be taken cared of). Jiro isnāt an unyielding rock in the face of adversity. Jiro is the kind of person that spend every momentĀ feeling his surroundings, the sunshine, the flowers, the trees, the air, the heat of the kitchen - everything. He has an almost childlike wonder about the beauty of the world around him and because of his curiosity and awe, he is actually very much in tune with everything that flows around him.Ā His reliability comes from how he has learned to bend with the energy around him.Ā
Jiroās earnestness, consistent work-ethic, and humble countenance is what opened doors for him as the perfect supportive member everyone would want on their team. He is subtle and sometimes unnoticeable but the presence that elevates everyone in the team. His personalityĀ (and lack of ANY male arrogance) is what allows him to be a wonderful life partner to someone as bright as Danielle and the perfect Sous Chef/Creative partner with a visionary Thai Chef I have yet to name.Ā
I love talking about my characters so ask me anything about them. Iām afraid to put too much here that it would bore people to death butĀ I have various word files dedicated to each character and their relationships with everyone in their lives when Iām working on them so sharing whatever it is anyone is curious about them is fun.
Wayne Hopkins.
Look at what I found in my drawings folder from a year ago š (2016).
Kind of imagined Hufflepuffs would encourage everyone to try out, even young third years (even if they donāt make the team just yet).

Setanta Mahariel, Hero of Ferelden.
Iāve played as a Male Cousland for around three playthroughs of DA: O, but in light of DA: I reveals, the irony of a Dalish Elf having Mythal Vallaslin is just an opportunity that couldnāt be passed up.
SPOILER ALERT
Imagine the hilarity of a Mahariel Warden-Morrigan reunion after the events of Inquisition, wherein Morrigan drank from the well. So many possible scenarios.
āIf anyone were to appreciate this situation, it would be your mother." āI can almost hear your mother laughing. Do the voices agree?" āConsidering I tried to kill her, I guess we're pretty crappy servants.ā āI tried killing one of my peopleās gods... I make a bad elf.ā āI should be called old god slayer!" āTalk about a controlling in-lawā¦ā
(also, I canāt decide between green or brown eyes. He had green eyes in my playthrough but Kieran has brown)
My take on Eliwood, or as I like to call himā Mr. Handsome.

Part 4/6 - Buttercup and Westley
Ā Ā Ā Ā Part 1 - The Family | 2 - Style | 3 - The Sicilian AssassinsĀ | 5 - The Prince and the Count | 6 - Florin Castle
I wanted to make it very clear that the man in black / Westley is a pirate. So I used loose billowy clothes that also made him feel bigger and intimidating.
Horse is a Jutland horse, native to Denmark (which is whatās in between Sweden and Germany). Itās a draft horse, so good for farming, which is where Buttercup grew up, on a farm. I also wanted Horse and Westleyās design to somewhat mirror each other.Ā Since Buttercup grew up on a farm, I did not want her to look dainty.Ā
Buttercupās story is more than just about love, itās also about freedom. I realised that freedom was the core to her character. Her horse riding, doesnāt care what others think, andĀ wild personality is all about freedom. I wanted her hair to flow with the wind, for her and her hair feel full of life.Ā In the book, Buttercup had red hair. For her to have such a bold hair colour, especially one that in Europe during the medieval period was not considered desirable, felt right. Her hair and her personality is a defiance to the standard of beauty and of how a woman āshouldā be. That someone as bold as her would be considered the most beautiful woman in the world felt pretty badass.Ā Having red hair (kinda vermillion) also provided opportunity to work with Humperdinckās more blood red. When wearing her presentation dress as Princess of Hammersmith (despite the title of Princess, it is a title that does not sound dainty), Humperdinckās red on her dress subdues the boldness of Buttercupās red hair. Combining this with a restrictive design for her presentation dress and of her hairstyle, her design become reflective of her situation as a prisoner.
But when on her daily ride her dress can flow and her bright, bold, red hair is free.
