when you just want everybody to be happy but mark scout loved his wife so much he split himself apart just to give some fraction of him the chance to live without choking on grief every second of the day and mark s. has never known any other love than the one he has with helly, that he's chosen and taken with his own two hands, of his own accord, and now he's reintegrating and it can no longer be ignored that he is not physically two people who loves two people, he is just one body who loves two people and neither deserve to be a second choice. but i want everyone to be happy and end up together happy.

if i was actively seeking excruciating mental pain and a lot of snotty crying in theaters, i would have recommended they make stephen, while making the spell for people to forget peter, have an unusual bout of uncertain and stilted speech and say something along the lines of "he didn't make me promise to--but tony would have--wanted me to keep you... he wouldn't have wanted..." and for peter to smile bitterly and shrug a little and say "well. tony--i guess it doesn't really matter any more." everything else can stay and everything else goes as it does in canon.

it's been years but my heart remains soft for dramione and zutara. look idc if you don't like it, whatever floats your boat, but i just cannot let the idea stand that it was only a ship or only popular because "bad boy/good girl" or "fire and water." it's about the redemption. the healing. the hard work towards a connection. for draco, for zuko: the idea that if you really want to, you can change. that you're worth more than your mistakes. that there isn't a place you can't pull yourself out of if you put in the work. that you might have been better if you hadn't been where you were; that you have the chance now.

for hermione, for katara: that people have seen you the same way your whole life and now you are given the chance to break away. that you have wounds and dark moments that the motherly ones and the bookworms shouldn't have, don't get to have--but that someone has been at the bottom of that same pit, that there's a hand reaching down. that there was a bitter, cruel history that meant you had no choice but to be enemies. but that there is that choice, now.

jaime and brienne literally make me heartsick. i have never felt so genuinely distraught at anything as i was at how they ended. like braime makes me nauseated and miserable and closer to tears than anything ever. i delight in it mostly except for the late nights where i burn at the unfairness of their ending and how brutally they massacred jaime's growth and the LOOK in brienne's eyes when she was writing his deeds in the book. the noise of anguish that was punched out of me the first time i watched their story through was unholy.

as someone who was weirdly and staunchly set against pedro pascal for like, five years, (for no reason either) and declared firmly that i did not find him attractive, this whole new thing where i actually like him a lot and he makes me giggle like an idiot is throwing me off badly. i feel like i'm going insane. i like him so much now. i got furious over a youtube comment section saying he was a weak, overused actor, all fired up like someone kicked my DOG. i'm out here poring over movies and skits and clips like it's religious text. i would ask to be saved but i am resigned to my fate and also i like it here.

in grinch 2018 he tells max he's "the best dog a grinch could hope for." this insinuates his name is not the grinch; while some would assume this is his race or ethnicity, I raise you another interpretation. a guy using this phrase might say "you're the best dog a man could hope for," which means grinch is not a name or a race but actually a gender. on the other hand, the whos seem to be names (cindy lou who, whoville, etc) and therefore I'd like to propose the grinch is some unique, messed up who and that's why he was outcast--cause everybody freaked out.
