Humans Are Weird

So there has been a bit of “what if humans were the weird ones?” going around tumblr at the moment and Earth Day got me thinking. Earth is a wonky place, the axis tilts, the orbit wobbles, and the ground spews molten rock for goodness sakes. What if what makes humans weird is just our capacity to survive? What if all the other life bearing planets are these mild, Mediterranean climates with no seasons, no tectonic plates, and no intense weather? 

What if several species (including humans) land on a world and the humans are all “SCORE! Earth like world! Let’s get exploring before we get out competed!” And the planet starts offing the other aliens right and left, electric storms, hypothermia, tornadoes and the humans are just … there… counting seconds between flashes, having snowball fights, and just surviving.

Chapter four, the hatchery and splitting off

Lily’s POV

“Come, sit down and watch the screen so we can officially start the tour!” Hammond says loudly.

‘I’m just so excited to see more baby dinosaurs! It’s been a while and I miss seeing hatchlings…’ I thought starting to drift off into my own head for a bit.

“So are these guys acting in roles? Or is it pre-filmed?” The lawyer says.

‘I’m just gonna-‘ I think before chirping loudly getting attention from everyone as I jump off my seat and go to claw at the door.

“As Lily has shown, yes these are the real deal, but we can meet up with them and Lily after” Hammond states happily.

“One, two, three!” Ian says before I hear the three of them push their restraints off.

“Let’s see the babies!!!” Ellie says excitedly.

I barked softly at a staff personnel after the door opened, this caused half the lab to look at me slightly scared before they realised it was me.

“Oh, Lily! It’s lovely to see you baby!” A woman said happily before picking me up gently.

‘Damn people love to hold me, huh? Eh I just want to see the baby dinosaurs!’ I thought while squirming in the woman’s arms.

“Alright, hand her to me! She’s not supposed to be held in here by anyone besides me” Dr Wu states annoyed at the woman’s antics, before taking me from her.

“Hammond, it’s been a while since you’ve visited with Lily.” Wu states casually.

‘God this is weird, the plots changed slightly, and I’m so confused why people just hold me all the time! I know I’m a dinosaur, but I’m not doing anything!’ I thought confused and wanting to get down.

“There’s some eggs about to hatch, so why don’t we go watch them hatch?” Dr Wu says calmly.

“New babies hatching?!?!??” Lex yells happily.

“Yes” Dr Wu replies.

“Oh my god! Please just let me see the hatchlings before I go insane!” I nearly yell.

“Look, Lily is also excited to meet the new hatchlings” Hammond says to the screech he heard from me.

“Yes, this way to the eggs” Dr Wu says leading everyone while still holding me.

Switch to third POV

We cut to everyone huddled around the incubator table, Wu has left Hammond to hold Lily for a while as they watch a hatchling hatch.

“What species is this?” Alan asks in amazement.

“Well it’s-” Dr Wu starts talking about stuff before Hammond got everyone out on the car tour.

“Dear god it’s starting” we hear Lily mutter as Hammond takes her back to the raptor paddock, before going to the control room to watch the car tour.

Chapter 3, the hunt and the sound of the main characters…

“Normal speaking” & “*Dino speak*”

Time skip to the next week.

Lily’s POV

“And this is the velociraptor paddock-” Hammond said before getting cut off.

“Can you show me the small one you’ve talked about grandpa?” Tim asked gleefully.

“Yeah grandfather, you said you introduced her to the others?” Lex said uncertainly.

“One: what the, you have raptors, and two: there’s no evidence that raptors would ever accept offspring unrelated to them or even that they wouldn’t immediately kill them!” Alan says.

“Is the baby alright?” Both Ian and Ellie say at the same time.

“We can check up on her but rest assured she’s fine, I’ll get her now” I heard Hammond say before I hear footsteps coming to the door.

“*Welp, can you go tell the others I’m going to be gone for a while Boa?*” I asked Boa who was tasked by ‘Alpha’ to watch me.

“*Sure Lily, but remember not to get caught*” Boa said before leaving.

‘I’m kind of glad that they can’t really understand human’s, if they did I would not be allowed to be alone… the pack has taken me in and I’m grateful but they also don’t trust the humans and are aggressive with them coming anywhere near to one of them let alone me… I pray this could happen forever but I know what happens soon…’ I think before going to the door to wait.

Soon the door is opened gently and I trill softly before getting picked up by Hammond.

“Lily darling, it’s time for you to meet my grandchildren and some guests of the park, aren’t you as sweet as always” he says as I nuzzle his arm gently as I’m held like a cat.

“Everyone meet-” Hammond try’s to get out before getting interrupted.

“It’s a real baby velociraptor?!?! Can I hold her??” Ellie practically squeals out making grabby hands.

“She managed to survive with the adults?” Alan said astonished.

“Yes yes, you can hold her, and yes she has managed to become the pack’s little Matriarch, they absolutely adore her as do me and Dr Wu” Hammond replied to both of them as he handed me over to Ellie.

“She’s absolutely remarkable, are all of them like her?” Ian asks with intrigue.

“Ellie can I hold her next?” Lex asked as Tim stared at me.

“Sadly only her and very few of the herbivores are like this, we originally thought she would grow out of it but it’s been years and she’s still so sweet and she will go out of her way to make sure humans are alright around her, she’s even stopped a few attacks” Hammond replies to Ian.

“Sure lex, why don’t you come hold her now?” Ellie says sweetly to Lex.

“Thank you Ellie!” Lex says before taking me from Ellie gently.

“Do all of the velociraptors look like her?” Alan asks after being silent for a while.

“No, she was the first to be hatched and at the time we weren’t as advanced as we are now so things changed her, she cannot be replicated and we aren’t even sure how she hatched or is able to grow at this rate” Hammond replied making everyone startle slightly.

“She was the first?!” Alan says amazed but questions still stood.

“We can get to that later, let’s get onto the tour! Lily will be coming with us since she needs time out of her paddock” Hammond replied before continuing the tour.

Chapter 2, meeting the rest of the pack and settling in.

Third POV

It only took 2 or 3 minutes for the raptors to take Lily to the remainder of the pack…

Lily’s POV

We reached the rest of the pack.

“Awww! Who’s this adorable little thing??” A female raptor said.

“Where did the young one come from? Was it the humans again?” A male raptor said this time.

“A child??” A second unknown female raptor asked with wonder.

I was put down and pushed towards the three new raptors, Kat looked at me expectingly.

“Hi! My name is Lily” I said.

“She was brought in by the humans, she’s going to be staying with the pack from now on.” The Alpha stated calmly.

“Introduce yourselves to our new pack mate please” Kat said while motioning towards the three while Quin and Titus watched from the side.

“Welcome to the pack Lily, my name is Boa” the first female raptor- Boa said with a toothy grin.

“Hi darling! My name’s Vera” the second female raptor- Vera stated in a soft voice.

“My names Goose, it’s nice to meet you Lily, welcome to the pack” the male raptor- Goose said.

“It’s nice to meet you all as well!” I stated hiding my confusion and concern.

“Why did the humans bring you here now? Did they take you away from your original pack or were you hatched with the humans?” Boa asked curiously.

“I was hatched with the human’s” I replied.

“No wonder, so you wouldn’t have a pack until now….” Boa said in response.

“I wasn’t kept in a cage or anything if you were concerned about that” I said trying to make her feel less bad.

this in turn made all the raptors to completely turn all their attention to me.

“You told some of us that you hatched 3 to 4 years ago, so how have you been with the humans so long? Especially without being caged…” Alpha asked.

“Wait what?! But aren’t you barely big enough to be above hatchling age??” Vera stated.

“I was the first dinosaur that the humans ever made… something went wrong and I was just kept around, I know that it’s because I wasn’t aggressive to them and that’s why I was allowed around them… and also why I was never caged, because I was always allowed out and anywhere I wanted to go I could” I said trying to explain without disclosing to much information.

The 7 raptors that are staring at me all gave me nods in understanding.

“Humans are scared of us, so I don’t know why you aren’t aggressive, but at least you weren’t kept in a cage or anything” Boa said hesitantly.

“Do you have a favourite type of prey?” Kat asked me, trying to change the subject.

“Yes! My favourite prey is fish!” I replied.

“I don’t think I tried fish before getting put here” Kat said, the others nodded as to say that they hadn’t either.

“Well-” I started telling them the different types of fish and which were my favourites before we heard something… mechanical..!?

Chapter one, growing a bit and joining the other raptors…

Lily’s POV

‘To think it’s been about 3 years since I hatched and I’ve barely grown into a juvenile! Anyways, I’ve been living with Hammond and Wu since I hatched, which has caused me to be there when other dinosaurs hatched, for instance they’ve hatched all 7 Rex’s and have set them free… I’ve also seen so many of the other dinosaurs be released onto Sorna, like some very hostile baby velociraptors who didn’t notice me, some compy’s and some other dinosaurs that I don’t really need to mention. But all this time I’ve been allowed to stay with Wu and Hammond even though I’m a dinosaur, they both treat me as they have since I was first hatched but more doting I guess? It’s weird but I guess since I’m not hostile they have somehow seen me as a dog or a cat who just plays, I know I shouldn’t be still in here but they haven’t wanted to let me out to mature in the wild of Sorna, they both have been talking about it, the reason they say I can’t is because of the serum for enhanced growth not taking an affect on me, but I guess it’s better this way since according to that conversation I should be able to live longer naturally’ I thought while curled up under Wu’s desk.

Third POV

“Wu! You need someone to help you with making the dinosaurs, or at least someone besides me to help keep the place clean and up and running!” Hammond said, “I understand that but we should wait until we can get both the T rex and Lily to Nublar, we need to move the other dinosaurs for the park as well! Not to mention what new hires will think seeing Lily! You could very well be shut down before you even have your lawyers look over this…!” Wu exclaimed, “And we will move them! But Lily stays with us until the raptors are moved in! And don’t worry everyone who will work at the park or here will be screened and sign NDA’s before getting a debriefing about what to expect” Hammond replied, Wu nodded before going over to Lily and picking her up, “Lily is the only non-hostile dinosaur we have hatched here, are we really sure she can mellow the raptors if they take her in? Because the other raptors should be all adults by now and we can’t be sure if they’ll even accept a juvenile into their pack…” Wu says, “yes, I’m sure they will at least take Lily in, I don’t know if they will mellow out even slightly, but either way this needs to happen, Lily has only really been around us and she needs to be socialised with others of her kind, I know she looks different to the other raptors for some unknown reason but they will recognise she’s one of their species… I’m confident about this” Hammond replies, Wu sighs, “at least she’s also easy to distinguish from the other raptors, but yeah you’re right, she’ll be fine and this’ll be good for her… but what about her preference for cooked food? And won’t you miss her and her company?” Wu says, “we both will miss Lily but she needs this… plus I don’t think she’ll stop being like this…” Hammond says pointing at Lily who’s purring in Wu’s arms.

Time skip 6 months, Moving day

“Have the Rex and the raptors been moved to their new paddocks?” Wu asked while sitting with Hammond in a helicopter, “yes, and all systems are up and running properly” Hammond responds, “and are you sure that taking Lily to Nublar with us on the helicopter is a smart idea?” Wu says while looking at the juvenile velociraptor sitting between the two of them, “I’m sure it’ll be fine, I mean we’re over halfway to Nublar and Lily has just sat here purring, so it’s fine” Hammond responds, “okay but remember me and you have to personally take her to the raptor paddock to introduce her to the other raptors, and we have to make sure they tolerate her at minimum…” Wu says, “yes I remember… also since when were you suddenly such a mother-hen to Lily?” Hammond says, “as if you aren’t also?” Wu replies with a raised eyebrow, meanwhile Lily wasn’t really listening to them and was instead looking at the beautiful sight of the ocean and the island their about to land on, she calls gently to catch the attention of both men, they replied by petting her and looking in the same direction to see the landing pad, “hold on tight! We’re landing!” The pilot says, all three hold on as much as possible, and they land without a hitch.

People come to great both Hammond and Dr Wu, then the people notice Lily and suddenly become deathly quiet, “S-sirs, why is there a dinosaur with you?” A worker says while stuttering, “this is Lily, the first dinosaur to come back from the dead, she’s still a Juvenile and she’s very docile so don’t worry” Wu says, which confuses the people present besides the pilot, Wu and Hammond, “I will confirm that this is the truth, would anyone like to pet her?” Hammond says, everyone who’s still there doesn’t say anything until a woman in her early twenties comes up and hesitantly puts her hand out to pet Lily, as she starts petting Lily she expects Lily to bite her, instead she stares in amazement as Lily purrs happily, “she’s so adorable! Are all the small dinosaurs like this??” The woman asks, “no sadly, she’s truly one of a kind, she’s been like this since she hatched, she’s also a cuddle bug” Wu says softly so only the woman and Hammond can hear, “thank you for letting me pet her, I will go continue my work now” the woman says before leaving, everyone else also leaves the three to go do their jobs.

Wu and Hammond take Lily and set her in the back seat of the car before getting into the front, they then start to drive to the raptor paddock, when they arrived they both get out and gently grab Lily.

“It’s time to let Lily be with other raptors… we can always come visit her and take her out when we aren’t busy, but this is for the best…” Hammond says, Wu nodded before opening the maintenance door to put her in…

Lily’s POV

‘I knew this was going to happen and I’m still scared… I’ve only been alive In this body for less then 4 years, I really hope that the big one or their pack let’s me live…’ I thought before chirping gently at Wu who was being the protective glass.

“I smell a new raptor… and a human?” A raptor said calling its pack mates while coming towards me, ‘I hope they don’t kill me’ I thought, then suddenly they were here, there was four of them looking around before spotting me, “I thought you said there was an older raptor, this is a juvenile raptor!” The biggest one exclaimed, “well apparently he was wrong alpha, but look at this cutie, aren’t they cute-” a female raptor said before she suddenly gets cut off, “I swear they smell like an older raptor! Can’t you smell it?” The original male raptor said, “hush Titus, it’s a hatchling and you were wrong for once” another female raptor said, “whatever Quin” Titus responds, “enough bickering you two!” The ‘Alpha’ said, the two nod, “what’s your name sweetheart? I’m Kat” Kat says, “hi… I’m Lily!” I replied happily as they haven’t tried anything yet, “they have never sent a raptor as young as you in before, did they take you from your pack? Or were you hatched recently with the humans? Sorry if this is a bad question sweetheart” Kat asks, “…neither” I replied, “neither?!” Kat says, “I’m confused, what do you mean little one?” The ‘Alpha’ asks, “ah, I hatched quite a while ago, I’ve been with the humans for a long time, if that makes sense?” I replied quickly, the Alpha nodded while thinking, “how long has it been since you’ve hatched sweetheart?” Kat asked, ‘eh, I don’t really think it matters if they know the truth’ I think, “3 or 4 years ago” I replied, this shocked all 4 adult raptors, “??? How is that possible??” Kat asks, “i think the humans said it’s because something messed up before I hatched and so I take longer to grow up” I said hoping they buy it, all 4 nodded before I suddenly get picked up gently, “we’ll take you to the rest of the pack so you can meet them and get used to living here” the alpha says.

Prologue

?’s POV

‘Life is the road to death… like all good things it must come to an end or there will be more bad than good… but why is it that all I feel is pain..?’ Is what I thought was right after dying who knows how long ago…

‘It’s been what feels like both seconds and a millennium…! But at least I no longer feel the same pain as right after my death, though the void I find myself in is beginning to feel… cramped??’ I thought confused before hearing extremely muffled but slightly recognisable voices from beyond the void.

‘Wait are those voices I can hear… wait why does it feel like i’m moving..? Maybe I can force my way out..?’ I thought before pushing with all my might…

THIRD POV

As Dr Wu and Hammond talked about the progress of how the third batch of trial dinosaur eggs were doing they heard a cracking noise from the incubator…

“Oh! We have our first dinosaur that has survived the egg…! This is wonderful news!!” Hammond said delighted.

“This is wonderful, to think that even one has survived from all the ways we tried bringing them back… maybe we should name her, I mean should she survive you would have her at the park eventually” Dr Wu stated calmly.

“For some odd reason I can’t quite place I have the feeling to name her ‘Lily’ and something tells me she’s going to be unlike any other dinosaur that hatches…” Hammond replies.

Matriarch/Lily’s POV

‘Those two look familiar… wait did they say dinosaur??? Did I become a dinosaur???’ I thought confused and terrified before clearing my head, ‘if I’m a dinosaur… and I also know those voices, does that mean… DR WU AND HAMMOND?!?!!?!!?!!’ I thought even more confused, ‘I’m in the Jurassic Park/world universe…. And from what they’ve said, it seems as though this was before they were originally going to crack the code on bringing the dinosaurs back…’ I thought while still slightly freaking out, ‘next question is, what type of dinosaur am I…’ I finally thought…

Third POV

“Lily is a nice name… maybe not the most appropriate name for a velociraptor but i also think the name suits her…” Dr Wu replied after a while, “can I hold her?” Hammond asked Wu while stepping closer, “she’s fragile at this stage so be careful, also we don’t know how she will react to humans…” Wu responded.

Hammond gently picked Lily up and held her, as he did this she just sat there calmly which shocked both men, slowly Hammond started gently petting Lily, and she started rumbling as if purring…

“Goodness! She seems to be purring, this is a wonderful breakthrough!” Hammond said delighted, “I had no idea it was possible… maybe if she continues being docile she might not even need to be contained…” Wu said before chuckling, “that’s a question for the far future… we need to get her something to eat and to drink before anything else” Wu stated, “agreed, since we weren’t expecting her to hatch so soon we don’t have anything for her to really eat… but maybe we could try giving her some of the fish for now?” Hammond replied, “that should work until the supply of meat comes in next week…” Wu responded with a slightly worried tone, “ok, you cut up some fish, while I follow you to the kitchen to get her some water” Hammond said before booping Lily which in turn caused her to sneeze…

End of prologue!

“The ‘Matriarch’ was one of the first dinosaurs that Hammond created… she has been around the longest and was the first surviving dinosaur… but she is not normal compared to others of her species… she’s the only reason that the death tolls caused by other dinosaurs has been so low… they respect her, but no one knows why…” -Dr Wu

Chapter 8

“Our son Aonung and our daughter Tsireya will show you to your new Marui, and will also teach the children starting tomorrow” Tonowari explained calmly.

“I will take the sky child with me while the other children are being taught!” Ronal says with a lilt to her voice.

“Okay Mrs Tsa’shik!” Nezuko responds before anyone else is able too.

“Fine! But if you hurt her!” Neytiri hisses out.

“Good!” Ronal says smugly.

“Our kids will take you to your Marui now” Tonowari says trying to get the two women away from each other.

“Come on! Let’s go!” Tsireya says making her brother lead them while she stays at the back of the group.

“Come on Nezuko” Neteyam says following his family and Aonung.

“Your name is Nezuko?” Tsireya asks kindly.

“Yes, your name is Tsireya right?” Nezuko responds to her.

“Yes I am! I’ve never met a sky person before! How old are you?” Tsireya asks slightly rambling.

“I’m 14 years old, what about you Tsireya?” Nezuko asks.

“I’m 13 years old!” She replies happily.

“This will be your Marui Sullys, we’ll come get you guys tomorrow morning…” Aonung says annoyed.

“Thank you for leading us here!” Nezuko says suddenly and the Sullys follow her lead.

“Bye Nezuko!” Tsireya says before leaving with Aonung.

“We should unpack…” Jake says quietly.

‘I need to go see Gothi, I wonder why I haven’t been feeling well lately..?’ I thought while heading to Gothi’s.

“Gothi, I have come to ask you to check me over” I said.

;Yes, what can I help you with dearie; she wrote.

“I haven’t been feeling well lately for some reason, and I was worried” I said as she started checking on me.

;Dearie, I’ll do some tests to see what I can find; she replied.

“Thank you Gothi” I said with a smile.

Readers POV

‘Is it that close to snoggletog already..? I swear the dragons haven’t been here for over 3 weeks…! But the Berkiens aren’t getting ready for it..? And it’s summer, I’m so confused’ I thought while trying to bake cookies.

“Y/n! I need to tell you something!” Valka says charging into the kitchen suddenly.

“Woah! Take a chill pill Valka, what did you want to tell me..?” I replied.

“You still need to explain what that means, but anyways, Y/n I’m so happy!” She says smiling ear to ear.

“Oh! What’s making you so happy!?” I asked curiously.

“I’m with child! I just got back from Gothi’s” she replied while hugging me tightly.

“Oh my gods!!! I’m so happy! We need to tell Stoick!!!” I said hugging her back.

“We can tell Stoick at dinner tonight!” She replied happily.

“Ah! Okay! I’ll make a nice dinner tonight then!” I said agreeing with her.

“What are you making? It looks so good” Valka said suddenly with starry eyes.

“I’m making cookies, you can have some from this first batch! The type I’m making is oatmeal raisin!” I replied happily.

“What is a raisin?” She asked confused.

“It’s a dried grape, they’re good by themself and in different foods!” I explained simply.

“Ah! Yes, can I have some please?” She asked curiously.

“Here, have a small handful to try!” I replied handing her some.

“These are good! Can I please have some of the cookies when they’re ready?” She asked after trying the raisins.

“Of course! The first batch will be ready in a minute, so don’t worry it won’t be long!” I replied.

Time skip

“Stoick, I need to tell you something” Valka stated while we were eating dinner.

“What is it dear?” He asked before shooting me a confused look.

“I’m with child!” She said happily.

Instead of him saying anything in response, he picked up Valka and spun her around before hugging her and pulling me into the hug as well.

“Thank you…” he said finally with tears in his eyes.

‘I swear I will do anything for these two…’ I thought.

I’m waiting for the motivation to actually attempt drawing one of my oc’s when she’s ‘younger’ technically, but she’s an adorable fluffy chicken in my mind for now lol

Chapter two

Readers POV

“Stoick? You wanted me for something..?” I asked confused.

“Follow, we’ll talk at the hut with Valka…” he said before walking off.

“Ah, oki doki” I replied while following him.

“Y/n sit down, I wanted to ask about your past” Valka says after Stoick and I got inside the hut.

“What parts of it..?” I asked starting to panic.

“Where did you come from..? You aren’t from anywhere near Berk and you don’t seem to be interested in hunting dragons…” Valka stated.

“Oh! Well I’m from outside the archipelago, I used to live in a village where the few dragons there were wouldn’t bother us…” I replied not wanting to say the truth.

“So you lived without dragons raiding your village?” Valka asked as Stoick was listening in the background.

“That is correct, I haven’t dealt with dragons attacking before living here…” I replied.

“If only that was the case for Berk…” Stoick added thoughtfully.

“It might be in the future if we’re lucky..?” I stated.

“I would like to ask you also about who taught you to cook?” Valka asked changing the subject.

“Oh, I learnt from the books my old village had of recipes from other parts of the world, sometimes I would even buy some from traders that would sell to the village” I replied.

“What made you leave..?” Stoick asked confused.

“There was a war about to break out so I set out and left…” I replied not wanting to say the truth again.

“I’m glad you got out of there Y/n, otherwise we wouldn’t have met you” Valka says with a smile.

“I’m glad I met you guys” I replied with a smile of my own.

“I’m also wondering if you ever had a husband Y/n” Valka said.

“That do I as well” Stoick says.

“Nope, why?” I responded confused.

“I and Stoick would like to have you as our third” Valka says while Stoick nods.

“EHHHH?!??!!?! What do you mean?!?!!?” I asked.

“Become our wife” Valka reiterated.

‘What in the- I’m so happy but also so confused- wait why is canon changing?!? I’m fine with it but still!’ I thought.

Chapter one

Readers POV

‘I can’t believe Ive been here for two weeks! Life here is so nice besides the Queen making the dragons raid the village, I know that the dragons have to but it’s still not good for anything involved… I’m just lucky I haven’t been in a fight with a dragon myself…’ I thought while kneading bread dough.

“Y/n! I’ve told you that you already do so much! Go take a break!” Valka says to me with a stern face.

“But Valka! I feel like you and Stoick have done so much for me! The least I can do is help with the cooking and cleaning!” I replied feeling bad.

“Fine..! But at least take a break once in a while.” Valka said with a sigh.

“Plus, this is barely anything, so don’t worry Valka! Plus don’t you like my cooking?” I stated.

“I do, and it’s helping a lot” Valka replies.

“You’re a great cook lassie, she just feels like you’re doing more than a guest should, and not to mention her cooking skills don’t really-“ Gobber says while walking in with Stoick before he gets cut off by Stoick giving him a stern look him.

“What he means to say is we appreciate you cooking and cleaning” Stoick says to me, still slightly annoyed at Gobber.

“T-thank you!” I said, my voice stuttering.

“Okay time to change the topic, anyways are you here for dinner Gobber? It’ll be done in an hour if you are” I asked trying to lighten the mood.

“Yes I am lassie, I’m looking forward to try the food these two keep raving about, I heard you know recipes that contain something called a toma- something?” Gobber asked interested.

“I’ll gladly tell you different things that are good to make with Tomatoes!” I replied happily before explaining things I could make…

Third POV

“Stoick, when are you going to have people start building Y/n’s hut, the lass has been living with you and Valka for months” Gobber states confused at his friend.

“Me and Valka… like having her around, she brings more light to our lives” Stoick replied.

“Ohhh, the lass has herself a place in both you and Valka’s hearts, would it even work for the three of you, together I mean” Gobber asks slightly concerned.

“Well we haven’t told her yet, but we plan to ask her soon” Stoick replies happily.

“I wish ye three luck then” Gobber says with a small smile.

*time skip, again, only like a day though*

‘Why did I have to be grabbed by a dragon in the woods- god I wish I could understand dragons-‘ I thought before hearing… a voice..?

*“Geez this female is so calm, isn’t she that Viking that kiln said was crazy and trying to kill him with part of a tree..? Shoot did I grab the wrong female!”* the dragon said making me startled.

“Holy shit- did you just talk..? That’s so cool! Oh my gods!!” I say out loud which shocks the dragon carrying me.

*“you can understand me..???!”* the dragon says astonished.

“Oh my gods! You actually did talk! And I can understand you!!” I said giddily.

*“Were you the one that joined in to attack Kiln when the male Vikings were fighting him..?”* the dragon asked.

“Ah, yes, yes I was, I would like to apologise to- Kiln was it?- about that, I heard screaming and I thought he was a bird when I attempted to attack…” I replied slightly embarrassed.

*“im sure he’ll forgive you, he’s a nice dragon when not following the Queen’s orders, so don’t worry!”* the dragon replied with a slight purr.

“Thank you, and what’s your name..?” I asked since I don’t want to continue calling him ‘the dragon’ in my head.

*“my name is Terra, I’m a spike tail”* Terra replies happily.

*“you aren’t a normal human besides being able to understand me, huh?”* Terra asks confused.

“I’m not, truthfully I’m not a real Viking and haven’t ever been… but that’s not the point, how did you know..?” I asked.

*“You remind me of a tribe of people I was told about, fierce warriors who disliked hurting dragons”* he replied.

“Ah, there’s a few of those outside the archipelago, I’ve never met them sadly, I wish to one day if I can though” I explained happily.

*“What do you know of dragons miss?”* he asks after we land safely on a sea stack.

“That there’s a lot of species of you guys as well as a Queen as well as kings of dragons you might follow, I know you follow the Queen, I don’t blame you guys for attacking all the villages but I wish it could stop!” I replied confused at his question.

*“Most dragons don’t know a lot about the world, that Queen who some follow is a tyrant, if I had a choice I would abandon her… she even expects us to execute the dragons that are… ones that aren’t worth keeping around, or ones that are deemed dangerous because they can become like you…”* he states looking sad.

“I’m sorry you had to deal with that, it’s not fun I’m guessing…” I replied sadly.

*“it isn’t… most of them are dead, they might even be fully gone…”* he says.

“Is it okay if I ask how they could become like me..?” I asked softly.

*“Well to do so they have to have died and survived… I don’t know how else to describe it…”* he replied.

“Wait, what..? Does that mean I can?-” I tried to ask.

*“Wait what, you did that already..? Well the way to transform from what I was told once is to concentrate on becoming something other than your normal form… but that might be wrong, it’s been years after all, but it should be worth a shot..?”* he replies.

“Should I try now..? Worst that happens is I can’t change” I say.

*“You should try, but I don’t know if it will work…”* he replied with a slight nod.

“Okay let me try..!” I replied before starting to focus…

*“!!! Female- what did you become-!”* he says startled.

*“It worked! Wait why does it feel like I’m covered in a full body blanket..?”* I said before looking Terra picks me up suddenly.

*“don’t worry I’m just taking you to a pond to look at you new form…”* he says to my panic.

*“oh! Thank you Terra!”* I replied relaxing slightly.

*“here we are! Just look”* he says after we land.

*“EHHHH?!?! I’m not a dragon! This is a dinosaur..?!?!? How in the world?!?!?”* I say confused as hell.

*”I don’t know, maybe it’s because you weren’t a dragon first..? But that form looks pretty and fluffy!”* he says happily.

*“Aww! Thank you Terra! Also it’s getting late, could you drop me back near where you found me..?”* I asked kindly before switching back to normal.

*“Sure, also if you ever want to do this again meet me where I originally snatched you..?”* Terra asks hopeful.

“Sure Terra! I’ll happily hang out with you again! How about in seven days?” I replied after we took off.

*“that works with me!”* Terra says happily.

‘I’m glad I made another friend..! And I’m so happy I found out about being able to change into an Utah-raptor!! Best day so far!!’ I thought happily before he quickly dropped me off in the forest…

“Y/n!!!!!!! Where are you!!” I heard coming from the village.

‘Shit’ I thought before running as quickly as I could to the village.

“There you are Lassie, the Chief’s been looking for ya! Go before he comes to get ye” Gobber states.

“Ah! Okay! Thanks Gobber!” I quickly said before running off.

‘I know I’m dead… but why am I in a forest..? I hope my mother survived, and I hope she’s okay..’ I thought while looking around.

‘Why do I have a tunic like dress on..? I swear I was wearing something else before I died… is this what happens when you get to heaven..?’ I concluded after looking at my clothes.

‘Why do I suddenly hear yelling..?’ I thought before getting up to follow the yells.

It took what felt like five minutes to get closer… ‘wait, they’re yelling about a beast..?’ I thought before grabbing a decent sized branch and booking it to the one yelling.

???’s POV

I was yelling at the dragon that was trying to take my best friends arm, while trying to kill the beast, before I heard a yell and saw something… amazing.

‘She’s charging at the beast without hesitation…! But, who is this woman…?’ I thought confused before seeing the dragon let go of my friends arm.

“Are you boys okay..? I didn’t really see the thing attacking you, was it a giant bird..? I can help bandage you up if you want.?” The woman asked kindly towards me and my friend…

“Thank you deary, that would be helpful” my friend replied with pain in his voice.

“Ah! Here let me see that, yep! Here this should work for now until we can get you more help!” She said while wrapping a torn piece of her sleeve around his arm.

“Ah! Where are my manners! My name is Gobber, and this is Stoick the Vast, the Chief of Berk!” Gobber told the woman while she helped him up.

“That I am, pleasure to meet you miss..?” I replied getting out of my stupor.

“Oh! I’m Y/n, it’s a pleasure to meet you both as well!” She said with a lilt in her voice.

‘She must be new around here..? I’ve never seen her before in the village, maybe she was shipwrecked..?’ I thought while staring at her for a moment.

Readers POV

‘Holy fuck, what the fuck???!?! Am I in how to train your dragon??!? I thought I was actually dead..!! But I was taken here instead!! Okay I can’t panic…’ I thought while introducing myself to Stoick and Gobber.

“Come on lassie, you’re coming back to the village with us” Gobber says while he starts walking off.

“Well, let’s go, best not to keep Gobber waiting” Stoick says before leading me in the same direction as Gobber’s going.

“Alright, sure..?” I replied following after them both.

*skip to when the 3 arrived*

“Welcome to Berk Lassie” Gobber says as we all enter the village.

“As the chief I welcome you to the village, now, follow” Stoick says before leading me somewhere.

‘Wait, is he leading me to his hut..? I’m so confused. Wait, shit, am I in trouble..??!?!! I don’t want to be!!!’ I thought starting to panic.

“Come, I want you to meet my wife Valka” Stoick says keeping the door open for me to enter the hut.

“Valka! Can you come here please?” He nearly shouts out.

“Coming! I’ll be down in a moment!” Valka replied from upstairs.

“Yes Stoick..?” Valka says before spotting me.

“This is Y/n, she saved Gobber from a dragon that was attacking him… she’s also new to Berk.” Stoick says while gesturing towards me.

“Hello Mrs Valka, it’s a pleasure to meet you!” I say with a slight bow.

“You saved Gobber from a dragon..? How?” Valka asks confused.

“I heard yelling and grabbed a branch and charged the dragon, Gobber got away with a wound that will at worst scar.” I replied softly.

“Thank you Y/n, Gobber is a dear friend to me and Stoick, so thank you.” Valka replied with a smile.

“Chief, may I have permission to live on Berk please..? Before I helped you and Gobber I was shipwrecked for days… I would like to stay if that’s okay..?” I asked nearly jumbling everything up.

“Welcome to Berk, we’ll have a hut built for you soon if possible” Stoick replies without a fight.

“You can stay here with us until it’s built if you want Y/n? We can get to know each other better while you are!” Valka questions with some happiness on her face.

I smiled at this, “if that’s also okay with Stoick..? I’m more than okay with it either way!” I replied with hope.

“That works…” Stoick says.

“Come! I must show you around the village!” Valka says before dragging me out the door…

“Okay!” I replied happily.

‘I hope this life is good’ I thought happily.

So like I wrote another httyd story, it’s a new one in which the reader isekai’s into it to a time before Hiccup is born

I already made like two dragon oc’s because of this lol, I love this series already… I just started it today and there’s already a prologue and the first chapter!!

Part 7

The flight to where they were going to seek uturu ended up taking longer than expected, which Nezuko took to hum songs her mother and brother used to sing with her, as well as letting Neytiri have Tuk fly with her when she wanted a break.

When they landed they were immediately surrounded by the Metkayina, the first to comment was a boy around Neteyam’s age.

“They call these tails?” He says and then he notices Nezuko… and then he gasps.

After Lo’ak greets Tsireya, the chief and Tsa’shik greet Jake and Neytiri…

“These children are not true Navi! And-” she says before noticing Nezuko next to Kiri.

“I used to be a sky person! I adapted! We will adapt!” Jake says not noticing Ronal staring intently at Nezuko.

“Why did you bring a sky demon here! Are you trying to bring even more dishonour to yourself!” Ronal practically seethed out.

All the Sullys freezed, having completely forgotten about Nezuko being unknown to the other clan’s. The Metkayina murmured in the background.

“She is not a demon! She was accepted by Eywa and guided to our family! If she was a demon she wouldn’t be standing with us!” Neytiri seethes back at Ronal.

Jake and Tonowari just have a silent conversation with their eyes while their wives quarrel.

“Hi Mrs Tsa’shik” Nezuko says nervously.

This makes Ronal stop and talk to her husband.

“We will grant Uturu for your family and the sky person Toruk Macto.” Tonowari says before going on to explain.

Now it’s just time to wait…

Part 5 & 6

Chapter 5

I admit I haven’t updated in quite awhile, but also it takes time to get into the mood for writing and sometimes I just can’t, but I got into the mood to write :D onto the chapter!

Jake decided to bring Nezuko to lab so she could meet the others, which went well actually, albeit the guys were very surprised to see a child on pandora that isn’t Spider…

The sully family, Spider and Mo’at took Nezuko high up into the floating mountains to finally get her an Ikran so she could join the clan fully.

“You need to enter the nest and have an Ikran pick you as their rider…” Jake said and Neytiri nodded, “ok! Also how will I know if they pick me?” Nezuko asked, “they will try to kill you…” Neytiri replied before Jake had a chance to, “ok then” Nezuko replied slightly scared, she went into the nest with the rope she held while the others watched, all the Ikrans flew away or just ignored her, but then a pink orange and brown one with pink eyes came up to her and slightly nipped at her shoulder, then it lowered itself and waited for Nezuko to hop on.

And so she did, they took they’re first flight together and soon flew back, everyone that was there stared confused at how that just happened, she got a rare Ikran to choose her but not only that, the Ikran didn’t hurt her only nipping once! They were all rightfully amazed as well, one for a slightly different reason, “That’s not a normal Ikran Nezuko… that’s a rare Ikran, there’s only a handful of them, and usually they would never bond with a creature besides another Ikran… you truly are blessed by Eywa!” Mo’at said while smiling.

They all went back to the clan.

Chapter 6

Time skip and I know it’s sudden as hell lol

“Ma Jake! What do you mean we have to leave?!?!” Neytiri asks concerned, “with the scare that happened with the kids and the sky people causing so much damage… I just don’t want anything to happen…” Jake replies in a worried voice, “What are we going to do with Nezuko..?” Neytiri asks, “we’re bringing her with us… she won’t be safe here and we can’t risk the sky people getting her… who knows what would happen if someone hurt her…” he replies. Neytiri nods and they come up with a plan.

Soon it comes time to tell their kids and Nezuko…

“Sir what do you mean we have to leave..?” Neteyam asks in confusion.

“It’s too dangerous to stay in the forest, and with the threat that the sky people will not stop until we’re all dead… we have to leave and seek Uturu someplace far far away from here…” Jake replies.

“What about Nezuko! We can’t just abandon her here! She’s one of the people as well! And what about Spider?? Not to mention we’ll be leaving everything behind!!” Lo’ak says in a slight rage at the news.

“We’ll be bringing Nezuko with us… and we will adapt no matter what, now this is final! So go pack your most important items so we can leave when it’s time!” Jake replies.

“I can come with you’s..?” Nezuko says happily.

“Yes, you are coming with us, you can either ride your Ikran or ride with Kiri” Neytiri replies with a smile.

“Yay! Nezuko is coming with us!!” Tuk says, the fact making her happy.

They continued talking about this for a while…

Part 3 & 4

Chapter three

The next morning came quickly, Kiri woke up first and decided something, she decided to teach Nezuko how to be a Navi, “Nezuko wake up please” Kiri said while shaking Nezuko, “w-what?” Nezuko said sleepily, “I’m going to teach you how to hunt!” Kiri said cheerfully, “okay… wait what?” She says now awake, “well come on!” Kiri says now carrying Nezuko, luckily no one got woken up by the two of them somehow…

After tracking down a Hexapede herd and picking one to kill, and after giving Nezuko a rundown on how to do it.

“Now!” Kiri says quietly to Nezuko, Nezuko let’s go of the arrow and it hits quickly making the target immobilised, allowing Nezuko to run up and kill it fully, “thank you brother may your soul go run with the great mother, while your body stays to become part of the people” Nezuko says after getting a clean kill, she gives Kiri her knife back, Kiri goes to grab the Hexapede, when Nezuko suddenly picks up part of it with ease, this confuses Kiri since not even Spider can do that so easily, “let’s get this back to the tribe!” Nezuko says excited, “yes!” Kiri says just as excited to show her parents of how good Nezuko is.

After they get back, “Stay here with the Hexapede Nezuko, I’ll go get my parents to see your kill” Kiri says even more excited, she then goes to grab her parents leaving Nezuko with the Hexapede, Navi stood looking at Nezuko after Kiri had said that seemingly starting to process what Kiri said, then Kiri was back with a confused Jake and Neytiri, “damn! She really did it huh?” Jake said getting slapped on the back of his head by Neytiri, “good job Nezuko, you made really good progress… there’s a few things left until you fully become one of the people, and I can say this truthfully, you are progressing faster then this Shxwang ever did” Neytiri said with a smile while pointing at Jake, everyone of the adult Navi chuckled at what she said, “thank you for the compliment Neytiri” Nezuko replied.

Jake got someone to take the Hexapede to get prepared for dinner and sent Kiri somewhere, leaving Nezuko with him and Neytiri, “come with us Nezuko we will talk in private the three of us” Neytiri says, “okay!” Nezuko replied happily, Nezuko then followed them into their Marui, they all took a seat and suddenly there was a serious tint to the air, “I need to ask you something and you have to be truthful, alright Nezuko?” Jake says getting a nod from Nezuko, “how are you so strong? I know you were sent here by Eywa but but even a Navi teen would have trouble with carrying half of a hexapeed like Kiri said you were, and she said you took on more of the weight making it nearly weightless on her side and yet you kept up with her…” Jake said looking at Nezuko intently waiting for the answer, Nezuko sighed, she hadn’t remembered that humans in general wouldn’t be able to carry most small things on Pandora, much less a Hexapede, “Jake, Neytiri It has to do with what happened… this may take a while to explain is that okay?” Nezuko said looking at them both, “yes” both of them said, “it all started with my big brother going to go sell charcoal in the village down the mountain, the night he left we stayed up waiting for him, there was a knock at the door which my mother answered, as soon as she did she was impaled instantly killing her… I grabbed one of my siblings and attempted to flee… all of my siblings besides my older brother died that night and my mother also died… that man who killed them gave me his blood to kill me… it didn’t work instead I turned into a demon…” Nezuko took in some breath after that part of the explanation, then saw the look on both Jake and Neytiri’s faces, they had looks of sorrow on them, “wait what do you mean he gave you his blood and now you’re a demon?” Neytiri asked, “the man who killed most of my family was the demon king, a being capable of turning humans into demons…” Nezuko replied, getting a nod from Neytiri, “the next morning my brother got back and found our family dead, he checked everyone’s pulse while crying, I was the only one who had one… after I fully turned into a demon and I nearly got killed, he got told to go get taught by a retired demon slayer, so he could become one himself, after he trained which I was asleep for the two years it took, he came back from final selection making him a low rank demon slayer, after he got his sword we set off with me in a box on his back since the sun can kill demons, and ever since then I was always there to help him on his missions if I was needed… in our last battle I launched him towards one of the top seven most dangerous demons that was running away due to the sun rising, and I burned to what I thought was death… but Eywa brought me here making me immune to the sun, and well now I’m here” Nezuko said now finished telling them about what happened to cause everything… “I’m so sorry you had to go through that Nezuko…” Neytiri said enveloping Nezuko in a hug, “Im also sorry you had to go through” Jake said petting Nezukos head causing her to hum as her tears were wiped from her face.

Unbeknownst to them they had eavesdropers outside the entrance listening in… Kiri, Tuk, Lo’ak, Neteyam and spider to be exact…

Chapter four

“Kids, and spider I know you’re there come here…” Neytiri said still hugging Nezuko, they all entered staring at Nezuko who just stopped crying, they all had questions about her, and they were all sad that she went through all of that. “You said you were turned into a demon… can you explain what that entails?” Kiri said stating what everyone else was thinking, “I can explain what a normal demon is like…” she said, everyone nodded, “humans can become demons due to the demon king’s blood, he must inject a person with it, after that depending on how much blood he gave you and how you’re transformation affects the person will conclude on how strong they are, after becoming a demon you are immortal, sort of, you can be decapitated by a special type of sword or burned if in sunlight, unlike other demons im considered to be special, I’m a good demon and fought other demons that would attempt devouring humans, I have never eaten a human and I never planned to…” she said nearly rambling, she let that sink in, “so… instead of eating humans I’ve adapted to gain energy from sleeping… and Eywa allowed me to eat normal food…” she finished waiting for any sort of reaction, “that explains why you’re so strong, and I am able to tell you’re telling the truth.” Neytiri said hugging Nezuko again while also petting her head, everyone else nodded as to agree with Neytiri, “oh I should probably show you guys something!” Nezuko suddenly said, Neytiri gently let Nezuko go while smiling confused, Nezuko suddenly grew into her full form surprising the Sullys and spider, “wait what!” Lo’ak says as she’s now just over 6ft tall, with a horn on her head and visible vine patterns on her skin, Kiri is now staring even more than everyone else, “you look so cool!” Kiri says, this makes Nezuko slightly flustered which got coo’s from Neytiri as Neteyam, Lo’ak and spider stare at her in jealousy since she got Nezuko to be flustered.

After all of that the day went great, Nezuko turned back to her normal age and helped around the clan, everyone that she helped was grateful and also coo’ing over her adorableness, also poor Kiri who was internally panicking whenever Nezuko was around due to now crushing on her.

She was helping her brother one minute then burning the next… ‘At least that demon died… I’m sorry big brother….’ She thought before her suffering ended.

She woke up in a beautiful yet un-earthly garden. “Dear child I’m so sorry you had to die… I’ll send you somewhere you can live now… where nothing can kill you… and I’ll make sure you can eat normal food… it’s the least I can do for you my child… as well as grant you the ability to walk in the sun… you get to keep your ability’s as well… take care my child, remember my name for it is Eywa… goodbye” Eywa said then a light consumed Nezuko….

When she wasn’t blinded by the light she blinked a few times, “where am I?” She asks looking around in amazement, “shhh! The light came from here..” she hears a hushed male voice say, “are you sure this is where the light came from Lo’ak??” Another male voice said to the first one now dubbed Lo’ak, Nezuko quickly turned into a form that was her actual age, then she saw them… it was two big blue people things? She shook her head at her mind, “w-what?” The two boys say in unison looking at Nezuko, they then look at each other silently communicating, “u-umm can you tell me where I am please?” Nezuko says concerned, “ok so you’re on Pandora… also why are you here… you’re definitely a sky demon but you aren’t wearing what they usually wear… and how can you breathe without a mask??” the one who’s name hasn’t been said yet asked, “I’ve never heard of pandora before… I’m from Japan and this is normal clothing where I’m from… also what do you mean Sky demon?” Nezuko asked, “I don’t know what Japan is… Lo’ak let’s take her to dad…” the boy said, “for once I agree with you Neteyam… also I guess it’s nice to meet you Nezuko, I’m Lo’ak and that’s Neteyam….” Lo’ak says smiling a bit, then suddenly Nezuko was picked up by Neteyam, startling her and making her grip onto him with her claws accidentally coming out and digging into him but then she realises and puts them away, Neteyam hissed, “oh… sorry about that I didn’t mean to claw you…. I was just startled” Nezuko says making Neteyam look at her and smile, “ok let’s go and it’s ok Nezuko I don’t mind” Neteyam replied taking off Lo’ak following behind…

Once at the village people stared at the cute girl In Neteyams arms, he quickly found his father facing away from him talking to his mother in their Marui, his mother gasped causing his father to turn around, “Sir… this is Nezuko… we found her in a spot a bright light appeared…” Neteyam said and Lo’ak nodded, their father sighed, “Nezuko…. Why are you on pandora? And how are you without a mas-” they heard a gasp from the entrance, “who’s this??” A young girl asked while pulling an older girl and a normal human boy with her, “hi I’m Nezuko!” Nezuko says waving from where she was next to Neteyam and Jake, “wow- you’re pretty… anyways I’m Spider!” Spider says, “I agree with Spider, also I’m Kiri” Kiri says, this makes Nezuko blush, Neytiri looks at Jake, “I guess this is where that lovely lady sent me… I’m glad I get this second chance!” Nezuko says, this makes Kiri look at Nezuko and the others just smiled at her not really paying any attention, “did you get that lady’s name by chance??? You seem different and I want to confirm this” Kiri says making everyone in the hut besides Tuk look between her and Nezuko, “I think she said her name was Eywa…?” Nezuko replies making everyone besides Tuk freeze for a minute, “ok that confirms it! You aren’t one of the normal sky demons, you’re special…” Kiri says everything made sense to everyone except Nezuko and Tuk, “does this mean she can stay and be my friend?” Tuk says to Jake and Neytiri with Puppy dog eyes, “Ma Jake, I’m ok with it if you are” Neytiri says, “ok Nezuko you can stay, but you have to stay with one of us most of the time ok?” Jake says, “thank you! What should I call you?” Nezuko says, “just call me Jake, and you’re welcome” Jake replies and pets Nezukos head, “Ok Jake!” Nezuko says happily, “come with me and Tuk, Nezuko! We can dress you like a Navi if you want as well!!” Kiri says dragging Nezuko away.

It was now dinner time, everyone was around the fire, Nezuko was sat between Neteyam and Kiri, “your hair is so nice Nezuko!! It’s lovely to braid!” Kiri says while braiding Nezukos hair, “I guess it is!” Nezuko replied still staring at the food she was handed, “why aren’t you eating?” Neteyam asked Nezuko, “I don’t know.. I guess this isn’t normal for me…” Nezuko replies, she bit the bullet and took a bite, she could eat it!! “This is so good!!” She says not realising the whole Sully family(- Tuk) was looking at her concerned about what she said before starting to eat, they shook it off, “I’m glad you like the food Nezuko” Neytiri says smiling at her as Nezuko proceeds to stuff her face more until all her food is done, “thank you all for the food and also letting me stay with you’s!” Nezuko says, “it’s no problem at all! My kids will take you with them tomorrow as well so that you have company!” Neytiri says softly, Nezuko smiled more at that while suddenly hugging Neytiri who hugs back, Jake sees how happy Neytiri is, he knows this means she’s staying for good no matter what… at least the clan doesn’t mind Nezuko for some reason…

Chapter two

After dinner they went back to their Marui, after arriving they all talked…

“Nezuko I have a question!” Tuk says while looking at Nezuko curiously, “what is it?” Nezuko replies, “why don’t you wear a mask like spider?” Tuk asks, this catches Nezuko off guard, “wait why is Spider wearing a mask in the first place? I’m still confused about him needing to…” she replied confused, “humans can’t breathe pandora’s air…” Jake replied, “oh well I guess I’m different?” Nezuko responded, “well I guess you are…” Jake says then mumbles to himself, Nezuko smiles at this, “your smile is so pretty Nezuko!” Tuk says squealing, “thank you Tuk” Nezuko replied smiling more, everyone besides Tuk became stunned for a moment at how blinding Nezukos smile is, “also why do you have pink eyes? And fangs?” Tuk says now confusing everyone who didn’t even notice beforehand, “wait why do you?” Neteyam says curious like the rest of his family, “I can explain but it’s a long story so I’ll give you the shortest answer for now which is; my eyes were still pink but a darker pink when I was born, so until about two to three years ago they still were but then something happened which caused my eyes to change to a lighter pink, it also caused me to have fangs and some other stuff…” Nezuko states with sadness threatening to set in, this silences the sullys, “that sounds like it was a difficult thing to deal with…” Lo’ak says staring at Nezuko with something that says he can’t help but feel as if he should understand even if he doesn’t… “oh, oh! Do you have any fun stories Nezuko?” Tuk says changing the subject, this perks Nezuko up, “what type of stories would you be interested in?” Nezuko asks now happy, “good idea Tuk! Just in time for your bedtime as well!” Jake says realising that it’s the time they all usually go to sleep, “I’m fine with a short story if it’s okay?” Nezuko says now looking at Neytiri and Jake, they smile and both nod. Everyone except Nezuko was in a position to fall asleep and so Nezuko started, “once a long time ago…”
