I'm going to *remembers suicide is often not a desire for death itself but rather an attempt to radically change one's life because the current state of being has become unbearable but the person can't think of any way to change it other than death* kill myself
I’m doing the dishes
it’s a warm spring day
I watch out the window as my neighbours wiener dog wanders out into the garden in its little blue bandana
I stop, mesmerised.
It’s sniffing flowers — carnations, I think — for quite some time until it becomes excited by a bird overhead and bounces around to chase it’s shadow
the dog returns to the sunlit spot by the flowers and flops over, belly up, to bask in the warm light
“I want to be that dog” I say to myself. “I want to share with the world the peaceful joy that dog must be feeling right now.”
I try to take a picture; my zoom is not enough. I get weird and grab my pigeon-watching binoculars to get a better zoom, line my phone camera up with the lens. And I take one single, illicit, sleepy dog picture.
I hope the ends justified the means.
I bet that dog is having a really nice day.
Soooo, the pope died 🫠 I know I'm sorta, kinda Catholic and all, but do you think I'd be excommunicated and burned at the stake if I suggest we just don't get a new one (pope)? We should just shut this thing down. I don't need another old, unmarried, childless man trying to guilt me into getting married and having children 😐 My queer ass is so close to throwing hands.

There’s a cafe on campus that comes and goes called The Three Crows. For those wanting a casual visit, it can be found in the spring when the hydrangeas bloom, on new moons, and the first sunny day after it rains. For those wishing adventures of a more exotic variety, it can be found on clear nights with a full moon when you hear the distant sounds of hounds baying. As you enter, you will be greeted by the sweet smell of cider and the spice of whiskey all comfortably wrapped within the warmth of coffee. The Dropkick Murphy’s always play in the background, and flowers grow from the walls and sometimes that odd table or chair.
