the 2023 coal incident
only in Poland you get 1 ton of coal delivered like it was a new refrigerator [it was a one-time occurrence, because there was no coal in the whole fucking country (according to dad, who got angry, then forgot he ordered it, didn't have the money, got super angry; the delivery guy couldn't unload this shit, they both got furious; I think I was about to take a shower and hilarious scenes (always) happen when I look out the window; I didn't have the money, but we found the money anyway, then I had to unload the fĂĽcking coal 3 times)]
ANYWAY

yes (ain't got much left, but it's honest work)
the first one was for an actual 3D class assignment, don't worry about it (I passed)

yes, I painted her with wall paint
started: Aug 2022 finished: Dec 2022 status: falling apart
at first I taped my hand with masking tape to draw the segments directly on it and then trace them onto paper, but it didn't help much as they would end up not matching each other anyway - I got fed up with it very quick and just freehanded most of the parts
yes, at some point I tried sewing it onto a woolen glove (it was way too thick) - ended up sewing my own glove out of a stocking and used WHITE THREAD, because I didn't believe any of this could be done anyway
thought it will be impossible to glue the segments to the glove, because it had to be done when wearing it - the polyurethane glue reacts with the fabric, gets hot and melts it, so it would probably burn my skin and then stick to it forever
I managed to evade that with wearing a latex glove underneath, although I could still feel the heat; it then had to be cut out from the inside of the gauntlet somehow
I honestly thought I wouldn't be able to ever put it back on (thought it would all fall apart), but it's wearable, just takes some time to adjust it to fit and you're ready to pet the rat!
the sewing is definitely the weakest part - besides visible white thread there are holes on the sides that I can't keep up with repairing next thing is there's nothing on the inside of the hand, just the plain stocking, where I should probably put some thicker fabric elements I'm looking forward to make an improved version - I have a lot of ideas and some more cans, but nothing more so far
anyways, it still is the coolest thing I've ever made; maybe that's why I'm anxious about making a new one
started: Nov 2023 status: poor paintjob, unwearable
I've been obsessed with welding ("steampunk") goggles for a very long time now - I remember wanting to buy a pair on my first convention, but my dad didn't approve ("what are you even going to be welding?") and I didn't have enough cash on me (they were crazy expensive)
my love for Arcane has given the perfect opportunity to try and make some on my own, although I had no access to any materials besides cardboard boxes, so the purpose was to try and see if I could at least paint them properly (I couldn't, but I had fun), rather than to make something one could actually wear
ingredients: - toilet paper roll - rice box packaging - two large tictac boxes - I got possessed and weaved the belt out of embroidery floss like it was a friendship bracelet making competition and my life depended on it (because a leather belt would be too thick and I could't find any flat string/ribbon)
making props is another dream of mine and I'm looking forward to learn to work with different materials - I wish I could make things real and heavy, using as little plastic (worbla, eva foam, etc.) as possible, so not what you usually see in cosplay the main reason I can't do much (yet) is that I spend most of the year living in a tiny rented room in a flat, with no access to my family workshop, where all the fun tools are
started: Aug 2023 status: abandoned
last year I had this wonderful idea to make a big articulated dragon thing (a childhood dream come true) ideally it would be made out of thin wood sheets (balsa wood?) and have bolts for joints - I guess the plan was to make a cardboard and toothpicks sketch and then a pattern to have it all laser cut (if you can even order smth like that), but I stopped at the (unfinished) sketch
it took days to cut out the segments (with the hind legs being remade entirely at some point) and I wasn't satisfied how the limbs connect to the torso (because I didn't plan it) - it would probably have to be remade/fixed a lot more, but I simply got (very) tired of it
now, the wings were supposed to be the really cool part, with hinges to allow them to move up and down, inner bones made of wire and some fabric for the membrane.. this never went anywhere and stayed as an idea in my head (one shitty cardboard wing sketch was made)
as of now, the dragon has been taped together to prevent everything falling apart, and is hanging from the ceiling to watch over when I sleep (first pic)
funny little shitposty reel I made back when I was still trying to appeal to the inst*gram algorithm gods
it's a ""making of"" this drawing the art may not be great, but I think the video really is something worth saving (a national treasure (I spend way too much time editing it))
here are some grayscale work in progress pics from before I completely messed them up with coloring (forgot how to color faces)
7th of May 2021, when the sky was burning
this has probably already been done (most likely a hundred times better), but I really needed to give it a try
edit: no background version and ref below
sorry this is polish only, but I got really inspired to make the
thanks for one like on my photos, here's some architecture (2022)
thanks for +1 follower, here's a funky edit I made combining random photos
please enjoy this silly goofy simple fanart I drew in March while watching the best (funniest) anime I've seen in a long time
2017(?)-2019
I stole someone's uv map to make a sky rug
up drawing everyone's favorite character (work in progress)
the idea is based on a Polish socialist realism poster thing - for now it only says 'REMEMBER' with the rest cut out, but I'll obviously translate the slogan if I finish the drawing (then you'll find out what it is that you shouldn't forget about) I wanted to do this for a very long time, because I can't get over how Jayce looks exactly like the type of idealized men that the socialist propaganda posters would depict, and I find it extremely funny not only that, but also the slogans that were used back when Polish People's Republic was a thing are now hilarious
I also can't unsee how he kinda looks like or has the same weird, kinda cursed(?) energy as Alex the Lion from Madagascar, so that's what I used for his head for now (it is also great at conveying all of the feelings I was feeling when spending hours on the drawing) I've had a 4 months break from art and (as always) ended up setting the bar way too high, so this will most likely take forever I hate how I have no idea what I'm doing, but instead of actually learning I'll be wasting hours trying to figure things out on my own and getting angry with myself, because everything takes so much time and still doesn't look any good - I really wish I could work on my skill consistently and learn like a normal person, maybe then I wouldn't be so far behind despite (theoretically) doing digital art for half of my life
anyway, that's probably how my posts are going to look like for the most part, because I need a place to ramble (I have no one to talk to), which I used to do a lot on insta story; still figuring out how to do this on Tumblr without scaring people off with walls of text
forgot to include this
hi, because I left instagram for good, here's almost all the shitpost I made with Jayce Talis Toast™ that was once in my story highlights keep reading at your own risk
the toast itslef I stole from pinterest and have no idea who the original creator is, but I want to thank them very much for changing my life, because over the course of two years I put it everywhere
translation for the last two pics: the same joke repeated 27 times levels of toast doneness(?) analysis (40 photos) average brightness average color saturation

ended up translating it (although it kinda kills the joke*), because I couldn't get over how weird it must've looked like for non-polish speakers
hopefully it's less awkward now
*this is referencing a series of Polish youth magazines called "Victor Gimnazjalista" (Victor The Middle Schooler) see >>the original post<< for more info
seems like a perfect time to post some more photos of my Stardew Valley farmhouse miniature paper craft
go see the >>original post<< for more details on how I made it
not me desperately editing this, because #art is trending and I hope to get more than 4 followers // character heavily inspired Felix Colgarve's work, precisely by the creature riding a dragon in SOURCE by Fever The Ghost music video

some more edits of the ink prints from >>my previous post<<
please enjoy my abstract INK PRINTS those were made using a purple dye I stole right after painting our easter eggs, black ink, vinegar, my bedroom floor (it stank even 2 days after) and 3 different types of paper
thank you for 4 followers, how do you guys feel about more "rat metal" posters? I think they're neat
>>english version<< soo.. there's a lot to explain about this if your'e not Polish please forgive me for the long post
it's a reference to a well-known series of Polish youth magazines "Victor Gimnazjalista" (Victor The Middle Schooler), that I made a very funny meme with more than a year ago > it's all there at the very bottom of the post

the thing is they had a Victor for every stage of education (Junior for primary school, Gimnazjalista for middle school, and the high school one was called Cogito); I thought it matches Viktor just right and also it would be fun to draw and edit an actual cover (it was a pain to draw and even more pain to edit) when it comes to headlines, I took the ideas directly from actual covers of said magazines; just went through a bunch and copy-pasted some lines to make an inspo board; you can also see it down there (it's hilarious and you have to trust me, because I'm not translating all that) vv
please don't transform your room this way
have I redeemed myself or is it still cringe? (redraw of a redraw of a scene from Arcane I did back in December 2022)
