Couple more thoughts about the Depp libel case before I shut up:

1. Thankfully, this was not a Depp vs. Heard trial. This was Depp vs. NGN. What this ruling practically means is that The Sun will not suffer consequences for calling Johnny a wife-beater. It is not the final ruling of Amber walking free. There’s another trial coming up with Johnny’s defamation case, which will be going to court next May in Virginia. That one is purely Depp vs. Heard.

2. The silver lining here is the outrage. Social media this morning has been nothing but people angry and confused about this verdict. In fact, I haven’t seen a single Amber supporter so far today, but hundreds of people asking for justice and horrified of the results of this trial. We all know it doesn’t take a court verdict to bring someone down when the public opinion is this loud and clear.

Support victims of abuse, including the men, and support them loudly, because the justice system does not.

Jeremy Renner has done wrong in his past, caught into a false accusation, but now he has his daughter's custody and he lives a peaceful life, even without us knowing.

Scarlett Johansson, abused as a child actress, has to do romantic scenes with actors twice her age during her teenage, going marriage after marriage with her daughter, but yet scored a double Academy nominations and continues to be a role model for girls all around the world.

Tom Holland, with the pressure of rising to the fame as a child, he still continues to entertain the world even though his fans are somewhat childish and very intrusive.

Sebastian Stan, an immigrant who lacked social skills in the past, incredibly shy and yet hide all those from his fans because he knows that they all love him dearly.

Mark Ruffalo, continues to save the world by going against all those big companies as an environmentalist, has a really strong political opinion, but yet being so down to Earth around us.

Brie Larson, facing all backlash from the social media, for voicing her heartfelt opinion, still going on to inspire young girls around the world to stand up for themselves.

Last but not least, Chadwick Boseman, giving his best for 4 Marvel Movies (Civil War, Black Panther, Infinity War and the Endgame) and 3 Non Marvel Movies (Marshall, 21 Bridges and Da 5 bloods) from 2016, while having stage 4 colon cancer, fighting until he was succumbed to the death. And we never knew.

Be nice and kind to everyone, not only in the various social media platforms, but also in the real life. Because we really don't know what is going in their lives.

Once you realise that, you maybe too late to even correct your mistakes. ❤🙏

How do you throw throwing knives properly?

well, first off you need a good throwing knife. knives are like people: most of them are good for one thing but not for others, like steve with throwing shields and steve with applying basic common sense. or like thor with electrocuting things and eating spicy foods. or clint with shooting arrows and basically any other facet of human life. 

anyway, a good throwing knife will be quite sharp on the point but blunted along the sides–sticks in the target but doesn’t cut your hands. the point and blade should be pretty thick, and the fewer perforations in the blade the better. throwing knives have to withstand a hard impact without breaking, so you want a decent quality knife, and the heavier it is (within limits) the less force you’ll need on your throw. 

you’ll want a good target to learn with, something big and soft enough that you’ll hit it and that your knife will embed so you know where you hit, but not so soft the knives fall out. deadpool may volunteer for this job. do not take him up on it. the commentary is not worth it.

grip the tip of the knife vertically between the pad of your thumb and the side of your index fingers. hold it firmly enough that it won’t slide in your grip but not too hard. 

stand with the foot on the side of your throwing hand pointed at your target, spine straight. start close to the target (another reason not to use deadpool–blood splatters farther than you think) and work your way back as you figure things out. the biggest part is learning to throw with enough force and rotation so the pointy end sticks in your target. it’ll take time, and there’s really no shortcut for just putting in the practice hours. 

if this does not work out for you, i recommend grenades for all your low-accuracy distance combat needs.
