HIHI!! I DID WRITING CUZ BOREDOM AND WANTED TO SHARE :D

this is sorta an au of mine where the main forest territory clans disappeared unknowingly, and over time new clans took their place in different places (but same-ish territory-also without deforestation lolol) hope u enjoy the small journey of my gal twigfur!

(id love to give yall more info on the au btw, rlly exited about it rn)

Twigfur, who recently had an argument, grumbled as she walked out of camp. Her mood was getting worse due to her being pregnant, and tension was high since the father was unknown... at least to them. "Why would they need to know about my life?! Most already speculate I broke the code so why not kick me out already??" She mumbled curses under her breath as she started to tear up. "I-I don't need t-AAAHH!"

She shrieked as she fell about tree-height from a loose patch of moss into a mysterious hole. As she thumped to the cold stone ground, TwigFur quickly struggled to get up. "At least i landed on my side.." She mewed quietly. The tears were now gone as it was replaced with fear. was this a badger den? wolf den?? it seemed like some sort-of cave.. and she's heard of bears before, but never actually saw one with her own eyes. The hole she fell from was shining the suns light onto the caves wall as she saw hints of color.

Twigfur padded over and wiped away the moons of dust and weather to find... a painting of a cat...? "What in stars name-?" Her voice echoed her surprise throughout the cave. Cats on walls weren't natural... paintings appearing out of nowhere weren't natural at all! Was some cat here who did this? the berry smell was old... and it was more stained and dried instead of bright and watery like fresh berry paint. She, now curious as ever, wiped her paw around the cat. it revealed another cat's tail... then more and more. She couldn't help herself. after a little while she finally stepped back, gasping in awe. it depicted a great battle between cats. claws slashing and jaws snapping. but below it depicted something much more different... a camp. Unrecognizable to her. everything seemed cheerful and in the moment. kits were playing, warriors were sharing tongues, apprentices were doing chores.

but in the bushes near the nursery... there was a large dark figure with unnatural glowing eyes. the bottom seemed... unfinished. there was no landscape and cats were scattered about. but it seemed to be... cats travelling away? where did they go?? "Nonono..Please! No!" Twigfur was eager to know. she kept wiping, desperately trying to find another scene. but there was none. that was it. Perhaps the cat who did this went with them to travel? What was that dark figure? why was there a battle?? Whose clan was this... Who even did this...!? Twigfur sighed and spoke with a small chuckle. "I guess you like to keep secrets too" The shecat padded to another area of the cave, soon finding a way out after pushing a few rocks that blocked an old entrance. "well, that was an adventure...I guess" Twigfur spoke to herself as she walked back to camp.

you shouldnt be scared to show your interests and opinions! yes-jk is a bad person and shouldnt be famous, but she was made famous by the community of potterheads! it practically shaped the world as we know it since the wonderful games and the movies probably wouldnt exist without us! its our passion, our thing that we like and nobody should judge what makes us happy. if they do, theres always that delicious block button lolol

WOO I MADE ANOTHA HYBRID!! (takin suggestions for more!) >:D Axorg (axe-org) (axolotl + multiple frog species lolol)

The axorg is a very talented species, equipped with both lungs and gills. their eyelids have see-through-like abilities and whiskers to navigate the muddy waters that they thrive in. most species of the axorg come with a strange fin that they can lift up. researchers think that this may be either a way to impress others, for speed, or to communicate. there have been only 2 species recorded at this time that do not have said fin. a rare mutation can occur at times where the axorg is seen with more than one fin, but this doesn't seem to affect the creature in any way though.

they are most commonly found in swamps and marshes where they eat small fish and bugs as they can leap out of the water by using their tail to carry them into the air. most tend to dwell in the water for their lives, but those who also wander on land seem to develop protective-like lizard scales. we are still unsure of how they do this as sometimes the same species will have skin that is practically entirely different.

the axorg tend to hang out in groups of the same sex and have a tendency to wander and vary from each group. it is seen that if theres not enough members of the opposite sex, they will turn hostile and fight.

I am fictionkin myself and I also find the disregard for creators to be really uncomfortable.

I have seen people who kin a character from a TTRPG podcasts and shudder because I learned that the character is an expression of the player's own traumas and was a way for them to process their trauma and heal. And there is something about taking another persons deeply personal character and going "im them thats me" and claiming them that feels disgusting. I hate it.

thats another sorta thing that happens, in most of my answers for the questions i asked there was 1 thing in common: 'dont bring it up/be quiet about it'

it seems like they are more secluded then the other communities. it feels like they put up a whole wall for you to climb before you discover a new thing about fictionkins. i feel bad for ya cuz it seems like they do it inside of their own community too

it feels weird and wrong that ppl are basically kinning with actors bodies,voices,etc ive always wanted to be an actor myself and if anybody kinned with the character i was voicing or acting out as i just kinda see it as '"too much" like..hey thats my voice! thats me! why do you think your me? im me!' for those fictionkin i think more of beyond the character. most actors dont even know about the nonhuman community so what would they think if somebody kinned your self insert? i just sorta think that its weird to kin a (past-present-etc) living thing, and basically a human nonetheless. i cant really ignore and go blindsighted to just the character, i want to think about who created them, voiced them, acted out them n stuff

book fictionkin are okay i guess, im just thinking about how thats basically somebodies oc that they spent time working on and shaping into the plot- even if its a backround character

ive tried to get out as much as i can in answers of things im worried about but ive only got a few secured as most were as toxic as the elephants foot. its strange to me on how oblivious they can be when it comes to the person behind the character, they seem to ignore it and just move on like it isnt a giant problem

(please remember that these are just my own opinions and you can ignore them, we both have different brains and can make humane decisions instead of arguing :P)

*edit: i know kinning is involuntary-im a therian myself and for those who may be insulted by the use of the word 'kinning' due to its backstory, i find it quite helpful as theres not really another world like it that ive found and have sorta taken it under my wing to try and make it a regular word. there have been plenty of words with weird ahh and violent backstories that some ppl use on the regular lolol

oke so i was like around 7 at the time when i had this- idk the exact age but all i know is that its been in my brain for a long time XD

i was walking into my houses kitchen and i screamed when i saw my mom sticking her head into the oven and covered in weird ahh green goo for some reason

i started to point at my ma and yelled smthin like "WHY ARE YOU GREEN?!" and she yelled back "WHY ARE YOOUU GREEN??" and we kept going back in fourth like 'no ur green-no u' idk i dont rlly remember what else we were yelling

until i somehow switched to my moms pov all of the sudden but kept yelling 'why are u green' cuz now i was ACTUALLY seeing green (out of my moms eyes- but ill just keep saying 'i' lolol)

everything was litterally green cuz i was now covered in green goo and ig so were my eyes or smthin so i just saw the world in a very green tint

yeah thats the dream- wtf was my child mind thinking about (i think i also considered this a nightmare at the time-but today its just fuggin funny)

idk dreams are weird n wild in general anyways lolol
