I love lightsabers like so much and it isn't just because they're laser (which is super cool too) but because of the lore behind them. Like Kaber Cystals are so cool man and the concept of bleeding one is so raw and haunting. Like I just love Lightsabers and I want one damn it!

I forgot I have to be active here so here’s my Twitter tutorial on how to draw folds I made a while back to help a friend!

A piece of cloth teaching you how to draw cloth folds of different material. Each picture depicts two arms in the same material - one thin arm and one fat arm.
THICK clothes only have a few folds! Sometimes a bump is all it takes to suggest a fold for THICK stuff. Examples are sweaters, hoodies, wool, fleece, and denim
THIN clothes have a lot of folds and bumps! Thin stuff usually has more lines that wrap around what's underneath. Examples are rayon, cotton, and crepe
SMOOTH stuff have "squiggly" folds. Smooth cloth folds tend to "loop" back to where they start. Examples are silk, velvet, Satin, Bamboo cotton, and most luxurious stuff
SOFT clothes have round folds. Unlike smooth stuff, soft stuff doesn't have many "squiggles" or solid lines in between. Examples are down jackets, fur, fleece, washed linen, and polyester
STIFF clothes have angular folds! Most folds tend to look triangular - assuming they even fold at all! Examples are raincoats, New denim, canvas, and suits
PS I have avoided talking about loose vs tight clothing since whatever is loose on one person (A shows a thin arm in a baggy yellow sleeve) might not be as loose on a different person (B depicts the same sleeve which comfortably fits around the fat arm). However it's still important to learn about these type of things.
Person asks, "So uh... what happens if the clothes are Smooth and Thin, or Thick and Soft?" The answer is DO BOTH! Top right shows a full woman in a dress that has a Smooth skirt and a Stiff top half. Even though it's one dress, one part is more Smooth while the other part is more Stiff. There are more examples but don't forget to study hard and have fun!

This is what I was talking about.

This Is What I Was Talking About.

This is exactly why the whole "Queer characters can only be played by queer actors" argument, or the queerbaiting celebrities argument is not only unhelpful, it is actively harmful. You are not entitled to other peoples identity. You are forcing people to come out in order to protect their careers, when they may not have wanted to share that with the world. Real people can not queerbait. Real people can not be bad representations of themselves. Do not conflate how you treat fictional characters with how you are allowed to treat real people. We can not keep having the same conversation. Forcing people to come out or else face social consequences is Bad. Always. Everytime.

In this case, Kit is literally a teenager who has been facing overwhelming amounts of online abuse for not being open about his personal identity.

Im seeing it with other queer media too. With nicholas galitzin and taylor zakhar perez in the red white & royal blue movie, people demanding that they should have been recast with "actual queer actors" despite the fact that we do not know if they are or are not queer. We can never know until they tell us that they are, which they have not.

Im also seeing it with young royals. With the new season coming out later today, the speculation on omar and edvins sexuality and relationship is incredibly harmful and toxic. They are real people, please treat them like people instead of fictional characters you can write rambling, speculating paragraphs about.

I'll say it one more time.

You are not entitled to other people's identities.

Yesterday we lived through the most difficult experience a person could go through. We lost our home. I can't convey to you the ugliness of the feeling. 😭😭😭😭

To see your house as a pile of stones and pebbles, as if time stopped for a moment and our dreams evaporated with every piece of rubble. My family and I watch helplessly to stop this disaster, losing not only our home but also the parts of ourselves that we carefully built into every corner of those walls.πŸ₯²πŸ˜’πŸ˜₯😟

Urgent πŸ†˜οΈ Call: πŸ•ŠπŸš¨πŸ‰

We never expected to find ourselves here, homeless and homeless, without clothes or belongings, but with torn souls trying to cling to anything resembling safety. My parents and my siblings came to our tent. Do you know what it means to live in a tent after you have your own house that you worked hard to build? The important thing is that there is a place for them to take refuge, but my uncles, who were forced to leave everything behind, have no home. Where do they go now? How do they find a place that accommodates them after their lives are torn apart? Questions plague me with every passing moment, and I suffer with them this pain, because we are all attached to this place with our dreams and memories.πŸ’”πŸ’”β€οΈβ€πŸ”₯πŸ’₯

Urgent πŸ†˜οΈ Call: πŸ•ŠπŸš¨πŸ‰
Urgent πŸ†˜οΈ Call: πŸ•ŠπŸš¨πŸ‰

Days may pass, and we may find a new shelter, but the psychological impact will not go away easily. We are trying to continue, and we know that every beginning has an end, and I hold on to hope that we will rebuild our lives again, even if all the memories are engraved in our hearts.😣😫

So I hold on to patience and faith, and I pray to God to inspire us with the strength to overcome this harsh experience, and to help my uncles and all those who lost their homes to find their way in this turbulent world. Be the reason for our survival.. Support us and protect our lives. We have the opportunity to travel to Canada, where my aunt is, but the obstacle is the travel costs. Help us collect them. There is talk of opening the crossing. Quickly, help us collect the travel costs. Have mercy on us from this homelessness and loss.
