I just started watching anime probably when I was 11 or something. I loved the stories honestly and the animation looked really good. At the time I watched the famous Ghibli movies and other stuff like death note. After I watched One Piece I just couldn’t finde any other anime that interested me that much as it did. My life got a little crazy as I got older so I didn’t have much time to watch any new stuff.
I haven’t watched any of the two, but I would choose the boy and the heron. I’m not really into the whole new animation styles.
