I want to share my art but I get overwhelmed with WHAT to share

I just realized that the Sonic au I started awhile ago and never posted would take place at the same time as the Zombot virus outbreak and before(during?) Frontiers
That means that my Robotnik didn’t make a zombot virus and Mr Tinker (or the equivalent) would never have existed
And I feel like I’ve robbed myself of pure gold
All of the hyperfixations are hyperfixating at the same time.
I saw someone else draw the same concept like right after making mine and hinestly questioned whether or not I should even post this. There art was so much better than mine and I really like the way they handled the concept
But that doesn’t make mine not worth making or sharing.
Considering this a daily affirmation
Just because someone is better at something than me doesn’t make my work any less worth sharing. We only get better by doing
And honestly? I like my art. And that’s enough for me

And Donkey Kong isn’t married which when the characters were created meant he couldn’t have kids (generally speaking) can’t be having babies outta wedlock TIS a sinny sin sin
Also I just launched myself directly into a wasp with a barrel. This one level shouldn’t killing me so often. Rookie mistakes I guess
That being said Diddy being his nephew makes sense but there does seem to eh some debate on that as even the creators seem to have sorta shrugged about it. I mean, all the kings are apes but him. He’s a monkey, like an actual monkey. With a tail. He has to be adopted into the clan somehow

I didn’t realize you could actually play as Diddy Kong in this I thought he was just there as an npc but not. He’s like the tails to Sonics Donkey or Luigi to…actually no it plays more like sonic with him following you around but you can switch which character is in the lead so that’s fun
Idk there’s something therapeutic about cartwheeling into enemies and throwing exploding barrels at them
If you get hurt the one you’re controlling runs away and you have to find them again in a branded barrel (like big Mario become small Mario for extra hit) which makes sense for Didd cause he little but Donkey sir you just abandoned your child in the middle of enemy filled jungle to cower in a barrel
A+ parenting right there

Also I forgot how silly Rareware games were. He king Cranky Kong just complained cause the devil pets gave him such a shitty house and he can’t even invite us in cause they ran out of memory to give it an interior

They are already selling data to midjourney, and it's very likely your work is already being used to train their models because you have to OPT OUT of this, not opt in. Very scummy of them to roll this out unannounced.

It’s been over a year since I’ve posted last. Honestly it feels like it’s been much longer than that. It’s been like three years since I’ve been regularly active on here. I’m debating on coming back, posting more regularly again, even if what I’m drawing is unfinished or just plain bad. Maybe post about my life some more. Vent some stuff off here from time to time. A lot has changed since I was active last, and I mean a lot. A lot in my life. A lot on my art. And a lot in the projects I’m working on. I’m struggling to work and to motivate and I can’t seem to finish anything long term but it’s worth a shot.

Uncertainty About Hosting a Zine (opinions wanted)
Hello everyone! It’s been a year and three days since I last posted. I will make this quick. When Steven Universe ended, I knew I wanted to do two things: host a final gemsona art event on my blog, and host a zine. However, I am reconsidering the zine because of the following: 1. The Corona Virus has made everyone’s lives go completely sideways and upside down. A lot of people are finding themselves very creative, or very much creatively blocked and run down from the stress and isolation. As quarantine drags on and different states/countries are flipping between opening and closing, I am not certain that people will find the inspiration and motivation to participate, especially when school comes around again (see next point). 2. The entire announcement time and creation period would go until the winter. This would be a busy time for students, especially with the new schooling formats due to the virus. Holidays would also take up the time a person may have to make art and/or write. 3. I know other SU zines have done charity and for-profit zines, but I worry about the legalities surrounding the sale of products containing pre-existing characters. I will do more research into this as I want there to be digital merch as well. 4. I am entering my senior year of college. I know that I have to make a cover page and possibly make merch to help with sales for the charity zine. I’m worried about rushing these important things and the quality coming out poorly, or pushing them off because of other priorities. I want to host a zine or SOMETHING, but I don’t know how much traction I will gain with the show’s end and the virus’ toll on everyone’s lives. I want to create a bigger project for us to be proud of, but I don’t know how successful it will be. I will figure something out. If not a zine, maybe a calendar, or screen backgrounds, or a recipe book, or stories with matching artwork, or a mix of things! Maybe it will be strictly SU and SUF, or include gemsonas, or only be gemsonas. I don’t know, but if you feel some way strongly, please do leave me a message on this post, my chat, or send an ask to my inbox. Thank you so much for reading.

I still do art I swear....I’ve just been super unmotivated to finish anything so I made a quick coloring page edit to force myself to finish something. I think it turned out pretty good considering the image was soooooo small.
I turned Prince Eric and his daughter into my two vamore characters, Tim and Marina....they work off of different vampire lore don’t question it lol
