There are varying and excellent ideas about what would happen if Zoro was in whole cake, but I am here to tell you that if he had been there, he'd have mistaken one or more of Sanji's brothers for Sanji, and in no particular order, would have 1. told them to get back in the kitchen and make him a sandwich 2. asked them what the fuck they did to their hair, because they look uglier than usual now 3. smacked their ass or something all of those things combined would have made them feel some emotion
[non-horrible Germa AU]
This AU's major divergent "plot" happens in Zou, of course, haha. There's none of that Bege stuff, everything is fine. Sanji kind of just went to meet his bros and Reiju for a while and then returns with them later after Luffy and Law arrived at Zou.
When Law stops dying he can fanboy about the Sora comics together with Yonji.
Germa scientists: Yonji-sama please stop using up the materials to make comic book robots
This involves a lot of rearranging of cannon events. But basically Shanks realizes that Luffy is living alone and promises him the next time he comes to Dawn island he’ll take Luffy with him. Crap finds out and take Luffy to Dadan, where he meets Ace and Sabo. Shanks returns just in time to stop the Bluejam pirates from separating the ASL brothers. He spends some time getting to know the other two boys and decides to take them with him.
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3 make it Mishanks
Part 4: Meeting Mihawk, Sabo’s future
Part 5: Ace’s reveal
Part 6: Ace and Shanks finally talk about Roger
Part 7: Heavy on the Mishanks
Part 8: a coming storm.
Part 9: Higuma finds Luffy, Shanks confronts Higuma
Ask: What about Dadan and the bandits
Ask: When will the boys return to Foosha
Ask: Grandpa Rayleigh?
Poll: Does Shanks lose his arm?
to be honest i don't really like that sometimes representation makes autistic people look like just silly little dudes who all that colourful and happy
like okay sure autistic people have a right to be happy and enjoy things but i wanna see the not-so-happy part of life. yeah, people portray stuff like going nonverbal and sensory overload and all that. but what about those time when you have to shut up mid sentense because you don't wanna sound rude? when you choose to stay silent and exclude yourself from conversations? when you over think what you all the time? when you feel to much and people keep trying to talk to you and you need to shove your feelings down because otherwise you will snap at them? when you have to prepare yourself for hours to simply answer the text from a friend? when something out of your control happens and it changes all your routine and you just sitting there trying not to cry? when your family forget to tell you that you all going to visit relatives and you have 0 time to prepare yourself?
i'm gonna be honest with you: been neurodivergent sucks but lack of opportunity to see people struggling with the same shit sucks more
Still thinking about feral child Sabo being raised by Dragon, who Gets It™️ because he was also a feral child (thank you and your interesting child rearing methods, Garp).
That kid growls and bites like a wild animal when he plays, which puts a lot of people off of him. And that’s all unwell and not good. Until Dragon matches him beat for beat.
And then you get fun little inferences from the rest of the Revs like
“Why is the noble kid growling and baring his teeth at the commander? Wh-… hold on, why is the commander growling and baring his teeth right back? Wait why are they squabbling like coyotes what the fuck is happening???”
Sabo is playing, Dragon is fathering, it’s fine, don’t worry about it.
me: i have no fear
my brain: okay but what if izuku's meaning for 'becoming the greatest hero' is an action of defeating the greatest evil and he and part of class won't make it alive? what if manga was just his memories before death?
me: i have 1 (one) fear
Okay but Jimbei is like, an old pirate. Joining the Strawhats is basically his retirement job. He’s like “ugh man I’ve been doing all this political maneuvering for decades it’s so exhausting” and Luffy pops up like “wow lame wanna join my Funtime crew instead? I’ll let you punch whoever you want” and Jimbei’s like yeah. I do want that actually.
okay real question here: does aizawa clean his clothes from cat's fur or does he just leave it there because he doesn't care?
hc that Sanji will yell and kick at the crew all day but when you know he's really snapped is if he starts using the customer service voice. Luffy appears in the kitchen for the 76th consecutive time this meal break and gets a strained "can I help you?" and nopes outta there immediately. Sanji asks Nami how she's liking her tea but in a detached restaurant tone and she pushes her sunglasses down and asks when he last slept. Zoro is annoying him for fun as usual when Sanji slips and calls him "Sir--" in a very stern voice and they both just go silent and stare at each other for several seconds. Zoro does the dishes that night without being asked.
Dragon is one growl away from scruffing Sabo and carrying him around like a mama cat.
There’s been a time or two when Dragon- in full Amaru form- has snapped Sabo up by the back of his shirt to go lay him down for a nap. Which he ends up getting roped into because Sabo- for whatever reason- is a very restless sleeper when alone.
So this is how the supreme commander of the Revolutionary army ends up curled up like a giant winged cinnamon roll, with a feral little boy snoozing in his ruff of feathers.
projecting my height diff obsession onto sanji? absolutely
