Since people are talking about Holyghost and Michie again, I’d like to throw this out there: Falsettos AU. You know who’s who. And Grace marries Jason. Send post

If I see one person preemptively type-casting Will Branner I will flip. People were looking forward to other cast members as Hidgens, I know, but if you think Will isn’t going to knock it out of the park just like he did with Max, you’re wrong! He’s gonna kill it and I am SO excited to see him playing an equally insane character on the exact opposite end of the spectrum

now that the tgwdlm revamp is announced we're gonna support it, okay guys? we're not gonna complain that its not a different musical. the more we hype this one, the more likely they are to do the same for an older musical. okay guys?

I don’t think the guy rerun is a cash grab. As a viewer you can have whatever opinion, I understand not wanting it. But like. I’m pretty sure they’re just doing it because everyone at Starkid likes the show and wanna do it again.
Plus, they’ve grown a lot with the introduction of Hatchetfield. Don’t pretend you aren’t at least a little excited to see the show with a bigger budget.

I’m still stuck on Will with grey hair
Hidgens has not been skipping gym while preparing for the end of the world ☄️
The issue I have with the fanon versions of Richie, and less so Ruth, that I don’t have with Max is that Max always has an arc. Like in every fic you read of him being nice it’s “Mean jock who’s never had an actual friendship learns kindness from the nerds” when that’s absolutely not how it would play out. Because they aren’t particularly kind either. Like, they’re not bad people but they’re notably also not good at social interactions or friendships. Richie, Ruth, Grace, even Pete (you’re not off the hook mr protagonist) all need their own character arcs along with Max for them to hold healthier relationships and be more secure in themselves. If you want a better redemption arc fic, it shouldn’t be the nerds enlightening Max, it should be everyone adapting to the new social climate that gives them each room to grow and become better people.

You know what, I fuck with it when Nick said the nerds (Pete, Ruth and Richie) aren't really "friends", but just hang with each other cause they don't have other friends (or something close to that)
Cause fuck if that wasn't me in high school (was either forced to be friends with the popular kids or was with the other nerds in art class, and I know which one I loved more, lol)
What are your other Lord in Black height headcanons? I'm picturing Blinky as the shortest, but I'm wondering if you have something else in mind :]
This is a rough one but here are my headcanons!
Aromantic Grace is legitimately such an interesting head canon I feel like we should talk about it more.

loving a character so much will unlock such vulnerable and cringe parts of you that you try to suppress so bad but you can't like it's so humbling
If we get Ted and Pete in the same musical/nmt episode, both played by Joey, that means either;
Peter with a mustache
Ted without a mustache
Ted with a fake mustache
Joey shaves his facial hair offstage
Funniest thing Starkid could do is cast Jerma as Max’s dad
I feel like Ruth would be the type to make valentines for her friends (like little cards with some not so safe for work pick up lines), Pete would get the ones that you get for elementary valentines parties (like Spider-Man cards with blow pops or Star Wars cards with stickers), and Richie would walk in with small plushies of something they like (aka Star Wars) and complain all day that he had to touch something Star Wars related, as one does.
Next chapter's up y'all.
it’s been over a year and the richie grace friendship nation is still going strong (to me) 💪 so here’s a little redraw
soft michie……,..save me, soft michie..,…,.,,…,…..
npmd but they’re all musicians!
pete, richie, and ruth are in some math rock band and want to enter a talent show but can’t cause their band needs four members. they manage to convince steph as a way to prove she’s a team player to her dad.
grace joins, somehow. she’s always just there ™
max is in a rival band with all his football bros. feeling betrayed that steph didn’t want to join his band, he swears to destroy hers + the rest of those nerdy prudes.
silly hijinks follow!!
feat. pete on guitar, richie on drums, ruth on bass (a very underrated instrument, often blending into the background, but necessary), grace on piano (she learned at church), and lead singer steph
After this I’m gonna stop posting these one at a time and instead post them in chunks I swear !!
I am obsessed with the rooms app guys...
I can't stop

I find the idea of post-apocalyptic Paulkins very interesting.
Do you think they deny any type of therapy at first because they’ve been “normal” their whole lives. They don’t need that.
Do think Emma gets another job as a barista but quits the first day. Because all she can think about is the last time that she brewed coffee, and the scars and shaking that didn’t cover her hands back then.
Do you think they still cling onto each other like wild animals any time they get a moment of peace, as if there’s a zombie mob coming to break their door down and ruin it.
Do you think Paul can even hear music without freaking out, ten times worse than before? Can Emma?
They were strangers a month ago. Do you think they can even breathe when the other is out of their sight? Do you think they want to?
Richmax..
I <3 gay ppl
Max’s will be next :)
Tagging this as Michie is wild bro😭
I completely understand not liking a ship or how it’s portrayed, but you have to understand. That’s your opinion. No we do not all have to come to an agreement, we’re all different people with different thoughts.
There’s a difference between “I wish a ship was portrayed more this way,” and “I think we should all come to an agreement to stop engaging in this specific way because people are doing it Wrong, which is, not aligning with how I see it.”
Share your opinion. Go for it! But this is closer to policing the things that other people enjoy. Acting like the only right or acceptable way to enjoy a ship is the more angsty version that it would play out as realistically is,
1) Defeating the point of fan works, being that they can branch away from canon as much as you want because it’s literally just for fun, and
2) Unkind
Let people have fun! If you don’t think it’s fun then dont do it! Block the tag!
Hey Hatchetfield moots can we just collectively realize and accept the fact that Michie is lowkey a very toxic relationship because canonically Max has been bullying Pete since fourth grade which would mean he probably started bullying the other nerds around then which means Max has been bullying Richie and the nerds for almost a decade so even if Max has a redemption arc and does canonically have trauma I don't think there is any way this ship could be positive or healthy Richie would have to have some Stockholm syndrome type shit to even fall in love with Max in the first place not trying to ruin the ship for anyone but I feel like we need to realize this as a fandom please and thank you 💞💕
I don’t think anything can quite compare to the unbridled joy of a queer teenager who knew that their favorite character would never be anything but straight, and then be proven wrong.
Max Jägerman truly truly truly I feel is a kid that needed. NEEDED. to be believed in. And he was never taught how to present an authentic, unironic self, or how to be loved, because his father very much sounds like a man who wants his children to "respect" him and parents with fear as his main tool of gaining power. So he couldn't intimidate the adults in his life early on, because he was a kid, so he turned to his peers, because they could be controlled exactly the same way his dad controlled him-- fear. Teachers would write him off as a bully as a result. He probably gets his only really positive attention from his jock friends (who he has scared into being unchallenging yesmen who are unconditionally supporting) and any praise he gets from his quarterback role. I feel like he REALLY depended on being the star quarterback for emotional support (probably along with the partying-- if your peers find you fun, that's almost like being loved). Get the boy a good father figure please
