Alastor is an extremely interesting character. With his solitaire motives and the mystery surrounding his decisions, it really makes him seem as if he isn’t a force to be reckoned with. I love how Hazbin Hotel consistently portrays Alastor’s biggest strength as not his raw power, but his mind. In Ork terms: Hez not Brutal an’ Cunnin’, but Cunnin’ an’ Brutal.
In stayed gone, Alastor doesn’t cause the power outage. Instead, he makes Vox so frustrated he does it himself.
In Husk’s flashback, it’s shown that Alastor didn’t beat him into submission- but forced him into a contract via a deal and a game.
In Scrambled Eggs, he doesn’t discount Frank (the egg boi) and uses him to covertly spy on them instead of using his possibly identifiable shadow magic.
And later he leverages the knowledge gained from Frank to get a deal with Charlie and possibly snap those strings of his.
Sure, he’s absurdly powerful as an overlord- but we’ve met characters far stronger than him. That’s not what makes him a threat. He’s a threat because he’s a cunning manipulator who’s startlingly good at reading people and using their wants and insecurities to his advantage.

Okay, so I need someone in the hazbin community, to just hear me out! So my favorite musician, (this guy up here⤴️) has this song that I think would be perfect for this variation of Lucifer. And I have an idea for an animatic for this song (I'd do it myself, but I am not quite there yet. And i need it like yesterday!). Now I'd be happy if anyone did an animatic for it. But if you wanna hear me on my idea, please feel free to dm me. And if you choose to roll this idea on your own, if you make it radio apple, I thank you in advance.
I just keep thinking about what casual geographic said about Deers being facultative herbivores. Which basically, for anyone who doesn't know what that is, means that deers will eat fruits and vegetables, but they aren't afraid to eat other animals if necessary. There are some pictures and videos of deers eating birds and snakes for nutrients. And when I think about all that, it reminds me that Alastor being a deer makes sense.
