As for story there is no story. Only random fun facts that I'll share if prompted
I really resent the idea Hobie isn't traumatized or has no mental health problems/emotional issues because he's so clearly an allegory for the adultification of black kids(and therefore actually one)like how Gwen is obviously an allegory for trans girls(and therefore actually one).The most you'll get out of Atsv fans on it is 'he grew up too fast' but they never go in depth into how much it must've hurt him and who hurt him.Society as a whole,no duh,but in the comics,he's implied to be an orphan and the only incarnations we have of his parents are his dad abandoning him as a baby and his mom turning abusive over it.That's what adultification,objectively,is-Child abuse.Hobie's not 'practically an adult',he is mentally and physically a minor and he was robbed of the right to be one nonstop,systematically.He had to fight for his right to exist,he has to fight for others right to exist and he dosen't really get to rest and just feel like a real kid all that often.Plus,realistically,Hobie isn't looked on positively in his world and that would do damage to anybody's self-eestem as a highly profilic public figure but especially to a black child and while he's the coolest ever the whole time,i can't buy he's always known that and i'll bet he was told the opposite by other kids growing up and how socially awkward he is sometimes makes me think his number of friends wasn't all that high and a common experience amongst alt/punk black kids is isolation and bullying from other children for being 'weird' and there's the confirmation he used to be homeless before his houseboat so the orphan status seems to be carried over to this take on him too
I know he wasn't onscreen for as long as Gwen so i don't fault people for not recognizing this and focusing moreso on her explicit traumatic experiences,moreover since it tends to involve him comforting her and i'm a sucker for troubled kid solidarity and romance,most of all since this one is canonically t4t and possibly transmasc4transfem specifically and even punk4punk too instead of them 'he was a punk,she did ballet' poserpills
Still,lack of screentime never stopped anyone for making up tons of tragic aus for Pavitr and even The Spot and erasing Jefferson and Rio to do with them Miles too as if Miles G dosen't exist and pulled it off infinitely better than any fanon alternative universe Miles i've ever encountered.This is going to get some people tweaking too but this is also exactly why i hate No.irpunk and even the platonic concept of Hobie instantly respecting Noir.Hobie has much more street cred than Noir and way heavier trauma and Noir isn't even punk-He's an antifa but punk is a culture,not just an ideology and i find it an unearned superiority complex N/H shippers will disregard Hobie's actual romantic chemistry with Gwen based on her loving him for who he is and giving somebody to bond over mutual interests with and heal his inner child in the process to say he should be a freedom fighter and nothing more,as if he's not a 17 year old black boy and Noir very,VERY likely a middle aged white man who's culture(not punk)(judaism)is against pedophillic relathionships as a religious rule.There's no evidence for Hobie being an adult but there's plenty borderline text saying he's an adultified black teenager and i wish it was spoken on instead of performative 'lmao fuck captalism' jokes as you buy official Atsv merch and stereotyped sexualization over a character who never got to grow up,not as a 'real kid' nor enough to be in the proper headspace to explore his sexuality as openly as a normal teen

Miles accidentally forced Gwen to get a haircut and Gwen kept the sideshave as she grew out her hair and she also choose to dye it pink,the color Hobie turns when he's happiest around the people he loves the most,and he might've been the one who convinced her to get that color/style specificially
In the comics,Hobie was a Gwen Stacy fanboy and she's that cool slightly older girl it's easy for most boys to get a crush on.And in the movies,Gwen looks up to Hobie Brown and he's that cool slightly older boy it's easy for most girls to get a crush on
Gwen said 'Oh,you would love him!' about Hobie and 'That's different' in a noticably flustered tone when Miles compared their dynamic to his and Gwen's in response and Pavitr slyly commented Miles wouldn't know about Hobie twice and Hobie himself said 'Gwendy,how much have you told him?' with no actual clearups on what he meant and 'A couple dozen' when Miles asked how many missions they'd been on together and Gwen got flustered again and tried to deny the full extent of her closeness to Hobie.Hobie knew exactly what he was implying,both him and Miles,and he was bragging,not to make Miles jealous as confirmed by the crew wasn't his intent at all in the Gwen and Miles deal,but out of love for Gwen and pride over their relathionship status

In every other universe,Gwen Stacy falls for Spiderman.And since in every other universe it dosen't end well,Gwen couldn't let herself fall for Miles.But Hobie Brown's not Spiderman,he's SpiderPUNK so Gwen never resisted falling for him because she never thought to and couldn't hold back how much she loves and wants him so she fell harder and he fell just as hardcore and at the same time as her,no holding back or fallout.How deep their connection goes is up to them,not any Canon Events.Gwen choose Hobie over canon and he saved her before anyone else did.He may not believe in consistency but he believes in her and she knows he's a good guy even though he's not 'supposed' to be

They were practically vibrating with anxiety as they searched, desperately looking for them. No, no, no, no, I canāt loose another-
They hadnāt bothered to hide in a nonhuman form, hadnāt bothered to take even a bit of precaution as they stood, perched atop a building.

What if they were gone what if they had been disgusted by them what if they were dead what if itās my fault- Parasite couldnāt take it, couldnāt hold back as they let out a gutteral, alien scream out on the top of their lungs. They whipped around in a wide arc, their tail slamming into the metal railing and their claws painfully tearing into the concrete under them as they fully gave into the overwhelming, suffocating panic.
Parasite noticed the pause in their voice, the slight hesitance. That usually meant regret or nervousness, didnāt it?
Make a connection with her to acknowledge that you know that somethingās wrong, but donāt push it or make a fuss about it.

Gwen didn't go to Hudson Yard often. That would be obsessive. She didn't even expect to find Alice there.
But she would be lying if she claimed she didn't spend more time at the park than she used to. It was a good place to rest and sometimes patrol got stressful, so she'd take a few minutes and stop by.
Yeah, part of it was that it reminded her of Alice and she was able to feel a little less odd for a few minutes, but she wasn't trying to find them. That would be invasive. Gwen was getting better at recognizing that.
She sighed as she pulled at the grass, letting her mind wander. She tried to stay alert, she really did, but it felt like such a chore when there was simply her, grass, and air. So she let it go for a bit.
The wind blew at her side, not too strong, but it still made her shiver.
She heard footsteps as people wandered by. Not many, but some. Few stopped, which made sense. It was late and Gwen stayed hidden from the walkway between a tree and some bushes.

That didnāt change the fact that people still hid away, or grimaced, or moved away, or started to reach for concealed guns whenever they saw them, which was why they had been lurking a bit in the more shadowy parts of Hudson park when they had seen Gwen again.
Parasite almost did a double take, seeing the first person that had treated them normally and given them a chance. They had almost charged forwards before remembering that they didnāt have Alice as a host anymore, and seeing a symbiote host charging at them probably would be quite the alarming sight. Instead, they stood there for a moment, just staring, trying to contemplate what the next best move would be. They were really starting to regret not telling Gwen before they had parted they were a symbiote.
Parasite smiled genuinely for the first time, edging a bit out of the shadows a bit.
