Texts With Katsuki but You're An Exchange Student: Part 1

The walk to the training facility was quite peaceful. In the short time you'd known him, you'd noticed Midoriya was a talker. He was asking questions about your quirk, how you learned to use it given the circumstances of your childhood, millions of things.
Usually you'd feel inclined to tell someone to fuck all the way off upon being asked any of these questions. But the space between you and your new friend felt comfortable, which was something you couldn't say you'd experienced in a long time. If anything the tension in your life had been palpable the past few months, even if it was only between you and yourself.
When the two of you finally arrived at the training facility you were happy to find it empty with the exception of All Might. He was perched on the opposite side of the room, on what looked to be a spectators bench. He raised a hand high and waved both of you over.
"Young Midoriya, Young (y/n), lock the door behind you and come on over so I can explain today's exercise." He nodded in the direction of the door and Midoriya turned to lock it. You made for the side of the room All Might was sitting on with Midoriya a few steps behind.
While All Might explained what you'd be doing you took off your overcoat. You hadn't wanted it to be ridiculously obvious where you were going, especially not after blowing off your practical partner. So you'd opted to throw the biggest flannel known to man over your training suit.
The mock up of your current gear held up well enough for it to be a training suit, one comparable to the one you've used in combat. Though the gear itself was a little... ratty. It hadn't been updated in quite some time and would without a doubt benefit from some TLC. You made a mental note to visit the support department before All Might spoke.
"Alright, go ahead and show us what you can do kiddo." He nodded as he motioned for Midoriya to sit next to him.
You tilted your head in confusion.
"Huh? I thought we were supposed to-"
"Nope. If your enemy is to have a fair fight they need to understand the range of your abilities, and yours is quite wide. Regardless of strength, It would be both unfair and reckless to send Midoriya in blind, even in a sparring match."
"Fair point, but then what do you want me to do?"
"Simple, use your quirk in the best way you know how. Show off a little if that's what you want to do," All Might waved his hand flippantly, "I just want to see what you're capable of and where your limits are, so that you can surpass them. The last time I saw you use your quirk was years ago. I would imagine you've improved since then?" He quirked a brow. Midoriya sat beside him with a notebook in his lap, looking between the two of you.
"I have." You nodded curtly, beginning to understand what was being asked of you.
"Then the floor is yours Young (y/n)." All Might gestured to the expansive training room behind you. You turned towards the open space, calmly walked to the center of the room, and thought through your plan. If improvement was what was being asked of you, why not show just how many of your limits you've surpassed?
Overhead you counted six rows of ten high-powered lights, making for sixty total. With those, plus the air conditioning, plus the rest of the technology in here, you figured you should be set. Electrical energy seemed to be the safest route while still being impressive.
Taking a deep inhale you tightened your core, the very inside of your soul to be as hard as rock. "Siphon." You breathed out on the exhale, you made an effort to feel every molecule of electricity within your reach. The current expanse of your quirk was the training room. If necessary, you could triple your reach, but you didn't want to take power from any of the dorm buildings.

You could feel your insides burning, but not in a way that hurt. They burned in the way that let you know you were sucking up every volt of energy available to you. In such a way that you could feel the energy building on itself and multiplying.
You didn't notice the way the lights went out, or the way the AC stopped working, or the electrical lock on the door come undone. You only knew you'd taken all you could when the breaker popped, then exploded with a resounding clap.
The way that you looked during was unbeknownst to you. But if you had to guess by the, "Oh my, oh my, what?" that Midoriya breathed out with wide eyes, you'd say terrifying.
If the way that All Might was looking at you like a proud father was any indication, you'd say you did your job.
Smiling softly you looked down at your, now glowing, skin. Electricity danced across it softly until you allowed it to dissipate. Simply deactivating it and storing it as potential energy.
"When I told you to show me what you got, I didn't mean to cut the power out. Jeez kid, what have they been feeding you over there?" All Might joked with a smile, one you returned to him proudly.

"Damn it, woman! Why won't you give me what I want!?"
Your eye twitches in irritation, glaring at the blonde as you cross your arms and huff.
"Because I don't feel like it!"
Your fiance gaps at you, shock and utterly betrayal written over his face. He's known you for twenty years. Ever since you were five and not once, has he expected those words to come out of your pretty mouth.
Katsuki felt betrayed, as if he never knew you at all! He only wanted a tiny kiss and a bit of cuddle time. Nothing fucking major at all so why were you sitting on the end of the couch!?
You stuck your tongue out at him, to which he gasps in offense while you curl up into the fluffy blankets. Wearing not only his hoodie- but also wearing his skull shirt underneath, his sweats that looked oversized on you, but most importantly! You had the audacity to wear his fluffy All Might themed socks without giving him a kiss.
You snickered at his scrunched up face, wiggling your fluffy sock-covered toes in front of him while cuddling a hero Shouto plushie.
Katsuki's eye twitched in irritation, taking deep breaths through his nose as he looked like he was about to explode. The blonde was hands down, glaring at you; his precious angel baby princess fiance who wouldn't even glance towards him.
Your fiance scowls in annoyance, uncrossing his arms as he tackles you to the couch. You squeal, knees bending to your chest as your feet rest against his abs. Your boyfriend glares at you, thick, muscular arms on either side of your head as he huffs.
"I fucking dare yo-"
You cackle, kicking him off the couch as he lands on the floor with a hard grunt.
Katsuki groans, giving you a nasty glare as he wraps his hand around your ankle. "YOU KISS ME OR YOU DIE!!"
You squeal out a laugh, throwing the blankets at him as you temporarily blind him. The blonde scowls in frustration, trying to get out of your trap as you grab the Shouto plushie and run down the hallway, giggling the entire time as you hear heavy footsteps sprinting towards you.
"COME BACK HERE, WOMAN!"
Snickers escape from you as you dash into your shared bedroom, hiding under the bundle of blankets along with the many pillows and plushies scattered on the mattress.
Giggles are heard in the bedroom, and even if Katsuki pretends to have a scowl on his face, he can't fully ignore the way his heart flutters at the sound and how he tries his hardest to fight the smile from replacing his irritated frown.
The blonde stomps over to the bedroom, carmine eyes snapping towards your figure as he fights to roll his eyes when he sees the outline of your body hiding under the blankets.
He huffs dramatically, jumping onto the bed as he lands on top of you; knocking the air out of your lungs in the process.
A yelp escapes your lips, wincing at the weight of your boyfriend lying on top of you. You kick him through the blankets, trying to push him away while shooting your arms and face out as you glare at the smug blonde.
Katsuki snickers at your angry pout, arms and legs locking around you as he nuzzles his face against yours like a cat.
"Thought you could run from me, huh?"
You groan, rolling your eyes as he gives you his signature smirk. Then he presses his lips against yours, smothering you in deep, hard kisses that make your lips part in the process from the force. You squirm, giggling when you feel him grin into the kiss.
Your boyfriend may threaten you for physical affection, but at least he made you feel loved.

When he's wearing his hearing aids he will purposely take them off as you ramble and pretend he’s listening by answering like: “mhmm” “no, no yeah” “totally”
I like to think that he's not a natural blonde but actually a brunette who bleaches and tones his hair just to look more like his mom.
He goes into his dorm room to “sleep early” but in reality, he stays up late using his phone.
He's the type to nudge, push, hit you when he actually laughs at one of your jokes
Since his hearing is impaired..whenever he listens to music inside his dorm room its always at maximum volume. Despite the UA dorms being soundproof you can still faintly hear it through the walls.
He HATES celebrating his birthday, he thinks its too corny and unnecessary but you and the rest of the class do it anyways.
When the opportunity is right he makes “that's what she said” jokes since he finds them a bit funny.
He hates physical touch but makes a SMALL exception for you. But when he deems it to be too much for him he’ll gently push you off and roll his eyes. “Okayy..knock it off" "That's enough"
He would invite himself into your dorm room, but god forbid you come into his without his permission.
When he invites you to cook with him he doesn't mean help him prepare the food, he just wants you to sit prettily and watch him cook.
He pretends to act annoyed but secretly loves it when you eat whatever he makes.
Just because he tolerates you doesn't mean you've escaped the name-calling.
He would be a heavy sleeper because of his hearing impairment, so if you wake him up he would get a bit startled but quickly change his demeanor so you won't see view as “weak.”
He has a secret sweet tooth and will secretly indulge in sugary snacks, but he'll get defensive and deny it if you catch him.
Has a strong habit of aggressively correcting others grammar or pronunciation, even if its just a minor mistake.
He's a bit of a germaphobe and would go out of his way to avoid touching things or shaking hands with people.
He hates the rain, not only because of his quirk but because of the thunder that sometimes comes with it. His hearing aids amplify the sound which forces him to take them off completely. Leaving him feeling a bit vulnerable.
He also hates the fact that bad weather makes his hearing aids malfunction. The static and cutting out frustrates him to no end.
He turns into such a geek when you talk about video games, heroes, and manga. When he notices how nerdy he starts to sound he shuts up completly.
Has an inferiority complex but..also a superiority complex somehow..??

First of all, thank you for sharing your thoughts with me! I was remembering that moment like Deku was holding her hand with two hands and so I didn't think it was the same one here, thank you for reminding us! Im gonna put the prev hand holding moment here
However I still can't think this moment as romantic because at the prev moment, she was thinking about Himiko Toga, not Izuku. She was thinking about the girl who loved her. And again, when Deku came right in front of him she was still thinking about Himiko Toga. That's why I can't find this panel romantic. It felt more like just hurt/comfort to me. She literally thought Toga was alive and pushed her for a moment so she stumbled (I still think if horikoshi was gonna make izuocha clear, izuku shouldve tried to hold her and then he couldve hold her hand🫠 but anyway). She was still thinking about Himiko Toga.
Yes, she should move on bc she is dead. She has to live with that but she should move on but she still couldn't. I want her to confess her feelings, I want them to talk with each other but if they are gonna date, I don't want them to start dating like this. Izuku made his move to her with Katsuki's advice's, not with his own pure thoughts. Ochako still thinks about toga even when she is with him and I really think they should get therapy first😭 (I wrote this better in my prev comment but got deleted hhhhh)
Lets move on to the other subject
Do you remember when they were child and following bakugo with "bakugo agency" song? I was referring to that :) Izuku wouldn't do something he doesn't like even when he was that little and if I gotta show and example that would be when he was trying to protect someone against Katsuki and the others.
You can also see the pic I send in the first comment. He was asking to bakugo after all this years, about the agency thing. He doesn't need to ask him at all, he could ve ask anyone but he asked Katsuki. Even Shoto got curious and ask them if they are gonna open an agency together and they didn't refuse it so maybe Izuku was actually still thinking about working together even though if it may not be the "Bakugo agency".
Also I've never said Deku is obligated to tail Katsuki, can you please tell me why you thought it like that so I can edit my prev comment? Also I already said he could still be a teacher and be a hero in Katsuki's agency. I thought it was odd for him to reject him without even thinking for a moment. Because this doesn't feel like the same boy that said "Its not like I could just go and refuse him" when Katsuki wanted to fight with him.
Don't you think that rejecting katsuki could've another meaning too? Because what Izuku said in the chapter doesn't feel like a good excuse to me.
Katsuki wanted to be closer to him than before. Izuku whos the one who chased him for his whole life, acted like he is just an old classmate of his is normal for his character? I don't think so. And even if it is, I think Horikoshi should've make that more clear. Thats one of the reasons why I thought Izuku looks so blank in this chapter. Just like you said, they have come so far so thats what makes everything weird.

Tbh if my main ship would be izuocha, I'd be so disappointed.
I mean, Horikoshi didn't even drew Izuku catching Ochako when she was literally falling right into his arms. He could've said "It would be a bit of an unlucky situation if you fell, wouldn't it?" (I dont remember word to word in eng those words but you get it.) just like when Ochako talked to her for the first time he saw him and catching him before falling. One of them might have confess their feelings and then they would fall in love literally and that would be actually something meaningful.
I don't know how you guys feel but if izuocha is really going to be canon, I think it shouldve been like this, not with dabbing lmao.
We all know Horikoshi cares how he draws hands. Horikoshi thinks hands are one of the most characteristic things in the human body, thats why him choosing izuku and ochako dabbing makes everything funny to me. Everything about izuku in this chapter was so blank to me idk.
Also when Izuku was leaving katsuki, the way katsuki put one of his hand in his pocket and probably holding that All Might card firmly... I felt a lot of things while seeing him only in that panel.
Their dream was opening an agency together and being heroes together and compete with each other... How did it come to this? Izuku still could've join Bakugo's agency and do part time teacher job, why did he reject him and did that so coldly? What changed? Im sure even Shoto wanted to be in their agency, my baby boy will be frustrated when he hears all of this😭
