im in the hospital in a waiting room
my thighs are sweating, the air hot and stuffy
its too early in the morning to feel like noon
thoughts of you are the only thing keeping me steady
my music flows smokey, the album's nice
messy poetry, paradox hearts & minds
weeds on my back, sick of putting you first
its ok to love him more, my heart's seen worse
i hope the 6 year old garden was fun
the fruits of your seed and spring has begun
so for the first time in forever
abatinas and cyclamens bloom in my weather
and when winter comes, what will you do?
will another bloodthirsty creature welcome you too?
will you drain them of life and trick them like a fool?
goodluck on the run, my laugh's one haunting ghoul

I Think Not
Bruce sat at his desk, head in his hands, fingers rubbing at his temples. It did nothing to soothe his headache as the fire lizards continued to whirl and pivot in the air in leftward circles, chirping and chattering at each other and Bruce.
Alfred stood in the doorway, eyebrow loudly raised, despite the elder manâs silence. Bruce ignored the judgment radiating from his direction.
âFather, I-â Damian burst into the room, neatly stepping past Alfred before stopping just past him, eyeing the fire lizards.
Bruce felt his headache spike.
âFather,â he says again, this time with anger and fire in his voice, âwho is threatening you so?â
The harnesses of the fire lizards catch the light, highlighting the flowers embroidered on every strap and, if that wasnât enough, the icons of the flowers on the connecting parts of the harness.
âThere is no threat, Damian,â Bruce let out another sigh as he dug his fingers harder into his skull.
Damian pointed harshly at the fire lizards chittering away in the air above him. âYellow Carnation. Spider Lily. Butterfly Weed. Basil. Aconite.â His finger moved to point at Bruce. âSomeone is angry at you and willing to kill you by any means necessary. Something needs to be done. â
âDamian-â
âBruce!â Tim barreled into the room, looking harried. âBruce, whereâs my coffee! Iâve got a meeting and I spent all night working on it and I need coffee or Iâm going to pass out in the middle and they wonât take me seriously! Why are there so many fire lizards in flower harnesses oh my god who did you sleep with?!â
Bruce covered his eyes and tangled his fingers in his hair, despairing.
âYou imbecile!â Damian shrieked. âDo you know anything about flower language?!â
âBruce!â Dick hit the doorway and launched himself over the bottleneck of the doorway, rolling over the floor and popping to his feet in front of the desk Bruce was sitting behind like the flimsy shield it was. âBruce, is Jason coming?â
Bruce dug the heels of his hands into his eyes briefly, before removing them to address his boys, his precious children, the source of his headaches.
âBoys!â he shouted to get their attention over the squabbling. They all looked at him and he pointed at the fire lizards. âThose are Jasonâs Damian. He isnât coming Dick. I donât know anything about your coffee Tim.â
Timâs eyes narrowed as he took in the fire lizardsâ harnesses again. Then he pulled a token out of his pocket and held it to Bruce. âIs this his?â he asked. The token was of a poppy, colored white.
Bruce raised an eyebrow and nodded.
After a moment of silence, Timâs screech caused the fire lizards to go between.
âJason stole my coffee!â
Can someone please fucking teach me flower language??? Please?????

you closed the door behind you, stepping into the silence.
âhi.â your voices echoes, for a moment you feel consciously aware of it all, of the silence that deafened you, of the sound of your clothes rustling as you moved. you hoped you weren't alone.
âhello.â â this was your only reply. the only proof someone was actually here. you imagined Saeyoung was out somewhere, you remember him mentioning going shopping or something, perhaps Vanderwood had come along as well (he always said Saeyoung was clueless when it came to shopping for cleaning supplies. you didnât think that was true, but you let him have his excuse.) your heart fluttered regardless, the silence had been shattered, broken, gone. and it had been him who'd ended it.
you placed your shoes and coat aside, stepping towards the location of the voice. Despite Saeyoung having seemingly insane amounts of items â it always felt empty. maybe thatâs why had so many. but, it was nice to see it filled slightly. keys in a bowl on a table, coats hung up, a vase of flowers. daffodils. ânew beginningâ â that was one of their meanings, and you spoke it aloud, throwing it into the silence without expecting a reply.
âYes.â you turned in surprise, jumping slightly, and meeting his curious gaze. âyou remember?â
âof course. donât they also have other meanings? self-love was one.â
he nodded, âyeah. ironic, because they also mean unrequited love.â
âand... 'youâre the only one'. perhaps they mean finding a new start in loving yourself, finding comfort and joy with yourself, even if the one you love doesnât feel the same. but... not forgetting them. âthe sun shines when iâm with you' â you still stay with them. because you ... care for them.â you spoke softly, staring at the bright petals. you quickly turned to him again, and his gaze was soft, maybe bittersweet. âah, sorry, i didnât mean to ramble.â yeah, indirectly ramble about your own feelings to the man, you hoped he didnât pick up on it. you didnât expect him to return those feelings, and he was still recovering anyways. you didn't want to bring it up now, not now. possible never.
âitâs fine. iâm pleased you like them and remember the meanings. youâre correct by the way, it holds a very deep meaning.â he thought for a moment, and then gestured for you to follow him. âcome. i was watering a new one.â
âthe chrysanthemums?â
âyes!â his eyes shone when he looked at you, and you couldnât hold back your bright smile at the sight. he was pretty. and he was so much more lively than before, his hair dyed back to that akin to his brother's , beautiful and vibrant. it was amusing that you were thinking of his hair, considering the flowers he showed you were the same colour.
"they're beautiful..." you mused, leaning down to stare properly. "what do these ones mean?" each flower he had planted held a different meaning, they were all so colourful, yet they stood out from the other, while also blending together nicely. it gave the place so much life. and he looked so peaceful when he talked about them. "these mean...'you're a wonderful friend'. i..." he hesitated, glancing over at you.
"...you?"
"nothing, never mind."
"ah." comfortable silence fell over you both. "the colour."
"hm?"
"does the colour of the flower mean anything?"
"it means... 'I love'"
"thats nice. i like that."
"it's for you. the flower, i mean."
he wasn't looking at you. you knew exactly what he mean. "you...?"
"you don't need to say anything. it has two meanings, take it as either."
"can i take it as both?" his eyes snapped to you, brilliant mint staring directly at you. "saeran, i love you, as well."
"you...do..?"
"i love you." he blinked for a second, and then smiled. he smiled, and it was so pretty you couldn't help but lean forward towards him, pressing a light kiss to his cheek, his cheeks turning almost the same colour as the flowers in the pot, or the new colour of his hair.
"the daffodils," he whispered. "they were a reminder of you as well. i didn't know if you felt the same, i didn't intend to tell you at first. but now... i thought that if you didn't, at least i'd have confirmation." his voice was so quiet, something low, barely there, as though this was a dream and he'd wake up soon. quiet enough, that only you heard him.
Sooo basically, after i played Rayâs route, im getting interested with the flowers. I mean yeah, im interested with all the flowers meanings. Sincee our BAERAN love the flowerss soo much, i decided to search every flower that reminds me of Rayâs route and its meaning.
Thanks to Saeran, i realised how beautiful all the flowers are right nowđ
