Whelp I just heard what was either a gunshot or a car backfiring and I want to go home now, america is so fun

When I was in highschool, the “weird kid” was a guy who thought he was a vampire werewolf hybrid. He was aggressive and hostile, and the people who tried to be nice to him,(myself included) saw first hand how psychotic he was. He choked one of my friends, tried to attack a girl I hung out with, ran around campus snarling at people and jumping off roofs, and constantly got into fights with anyone who so much as talked back to him.

Saying that the victims from Parkland shooting are at fault because they didn’t befriend the shooter is incredibly short sided and a perfect example of victim blaming. Sometimes the weird kid is toxic and violent, or racist and homophobic. Nobody should have to be forced or guilted into bringing that type of toxicity into their lives.

Also, please don’t pretend that you really care about the weird kid all of a sudden. We all can see that you are trying whatever bs tactic you can think of to distract from the bigger issue at hand; gun violence and gun control in America.

STOP BLAMING THE VICTIMS AND STOP TRYING TO BULLY KIDS INTO SILENCE!

ALSO GUNS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL

Like completely, cops shouldn’t have them no one should have them, they’re used to kill, not for defense not to protect something but to kill people. There have been more mass shootings in 2024 then there are days in 2024 so far. That’s inexcusable. Oh but the criminals will just find a way to get them anyway, maybe, doesn’t mean we have to make it easy for them, also every mass shooting in America was done by people who got the guns legally, it’s almost like laws do something, and for the whole they’ll get guns from Mexico thing, 90 percent of the guns in Mexico are from America, and sure gun violence is potentially more prominent in places with stricter gun control, they get the guns from other states with worse gun control, and when you have a gun and no one else does that leads to some deaths, and for those who say what about if the government becomes tyrannical and we have to fight back, ideally they wouldn’t have guns either but also you really think you’re going to win against the drones and bombs and nukes and tanks and weapons of destruction that could wipe out cities in seconds, if you support the idea of people having guns then you support the idea of people being shot

Remember, they only win when you give up, don’t let them win

I was watching spanish channel news and the anchor said "until something changes we will be waiting here to report on the next massacre" and those words hit me so hard

All across the United States, Americans are embracing their inner “Roof Korean” 

In an attempt to protect their own property and/or their community’s property, Americans of all races are coming together to help defend their lively hood from looters and criminals in several major cities in the US.

If you own property I suggest you create some sort of deterrence to prevent the destruction of your property. If you don’t but you own firearms and love your community, find ways to volunteer to help protect the helpless.
