I’ve been mentally planning who would be who since they announced a musical episode last season!!!!!

As sad as it was to see Luke Perry’s final appearance in tonight's it still warmed my heart to see him as the same good character I’ve always loved. He will be dearly missed and I can only hope that they remain as respectful with his character as they were with the memoriam.

Not only am I mad at Jughead’s mom for strolling in like she owns the place, but I’m pissed that when she told him that he couldn't come to her in season 1 because she was trying to “clean up her act” or whatever was her really not wanting him to interfere with her own gang and dragging his sister into it

It’s scarily good at how accurate they are portraying cult behavior. Like how they target Kevin when he is in such a vulnerable place, they show him that he can have what he wants on the farm that when Betty goes to him for help/warning he doesn’t see the problem with them being a cult. 

Can we please let Kevin be happy?!?! This is the second time a relationship has been dangled in front of him and he continuously gets screwed over

Riverdale S2 Finale

Look I really liked the majority of the episode, the north and south side came together, it was great. But when it came to Hiram Lodge, I was really hoping he would be killed off. He has too much power where he’s not even a fun villain anymore. They can't have the theme of Archie as a criminal stretch for 24 episodes. And now I have to flipping wait

How I love having watched a 3h video on Riverdale, and coming out of it with knowledge form the Archieverse comics, and now seeing Veronica and Archie all the time in drawing templates, for example the "down boy" drawing trend, and know exactly where it comes from. (Me trying to gaslight myself into thinking that watching a 3h essay on a show I never even saw was useful)

I'm bored and for some reason a video of Riverdale appeared on tik tok and I thought, how would the criminal minds team be like the Riverdale characters? So here you have me with my opinion of who would take the place of the other

Hotch = jughgead jones (may be heavily influenced by the fact that they are both my favorite characters)

Morgan = archie andrews (I have no proof, but also no doubts)

JJ = Betty cooper

Emily = veronica lodge

Reid = kevin keller

Rossi = FP jones

Gideon = Sheriff Keller

Elle = cheryl blossom (don't ask why, I don't know either)

OK unfortunately I have zero new thoughts about this but nontheless: Riverdale ending with the love triangle (square?) just all dating and being in a polycule is not only PEAK Riverdale, but the perfect damn way to end the show

Recently got really into the Archie comics, realised Jughead definitely is aroace and now I’m pissed at Riverdale. He is very much neither emo nor straight, thank you. That is the basic context as for why I’m doing these sloppy sketches at 4 am. (On the right I drew Alastor from memory. I know it’s not accurate at all so let’s just call it ✨stylised✨)

It would of been so good if when Josie introduced herself to the serpents and she said “formally of the pussycats” if someone from the football team like Reggie said “now just a pussy”

Yk I think it’s good that Alice made Betty feel like shit while Alice was undercover because Betty is a little fucking dick muncher who needs to be punched in the throat. No hate on the actor tho she’s seems like a really nice person

So I was thinking when what’s his face said Kevin will finally have a happy ending I kept thinking that he’s gonna die and I was cool with that because I fucking hate this show with a passion but then I realised I don’t watch any other shows and that if Kevin dies I won’t be able to watch this shit show and for some reason this has been giving me extreme anxiety all fucking day

Casey has actually said in an interview that he wishes he had more lines or at least more scenes.

I wonder if having a “not that important” and “serie regular but kind of ruccuring” role on Riverdale is enough for Casey, or if he wants more (like being a main in another show). I wonder if he sometimes feels like Kevin could just not be there for several episodes and nothing would change. He must love the cast and production team very much, because apart from that, I don’t know why he would stay if acting is something that he loves and wants to make a career of.

It’s a tough call. I mean, right now he’s basically getting a check without having to do all that much for it, but I imagine he must end up feeling kind of left out from the rest of the cast, and in interviews, he frequently seems to have to grasp at straws about his plots just to have something to says. I definitely think, though, that the actor is capable of much more and that he knows it. I know his argument with Betty in S2 is usually used as a way to show how “awful of a friend” and “horrid” he is to Betty, but I thought he did such a good job with the emotion the scene required.

And I also feel that he really does love his cast mates. He always seemed to love taking photos with all of them, he and KJA had that silly post for Lili’s birthday, he wrote that parody in-character love confession for Lili, Mark came to his defense when fans were criticizing him, and he a very touching tribute for Luke when he passed away. I would guess that the conflict for Casey could be going up an unfulfilling but comfortable job in favor of taking a risk and finding something different, but that’s just a guess.

Okay so pretty much this is what really annoys me about Betty she tries to say that Kevin is one of her best friends but when it comes down to it Betty doesnt even notice Kev like c’mon man. It’s extremely frustrating how she tried to control Kevin’s life for about a day but afterwards she gives up and moves on to the next task
