So, I developed this habit ever since Tumblr became my go-to place for reader-insert fanfics of falling in love with characters from shows and movies that I have and will likely never see to the point of actually inserting myself into certain scenarios (i.e; I’ll rewrite the reader’s dialogue to be what I think I would actually say in the given situation) and coming up with my own headcanons for certain scenarios, Good Omens (specifically Crowley), Doctor Who (specifically 10 and 11) and Sherlock (specifically the detective himself) are the biggest examples of this phenomenon. This also happens with shipping, in which case Johnlock is the biggest example. If I were to watch Sherlock, I would most defiantly see Sherlock and John only as close friends and just roll my eyes when the show is deliberately ship-teasing them.
Okay seriously can someone explain what the FUCK is going on with Sherlock right now. like what is going on in the episode because i cant access it right now????
Control Z: shows you should watch instead
Control Z was an entertaining watch /at times/. However, I wouldn’t go around recommending it to people. The characters and the storyline lacked depth, and too many questions were left unanswered. While watching it I couldn’t stop thinking how much the plot, the characters and some directorial choices reminded me of other better shows. So here’s the list of those that I would rather watch instead. However, it can also be considered as a list of shows that you might like if you enjoyed Control Z.
GOSSIP GIRL [2007-2012]
Gossip Girl revolves around the lives of privileged white teenagers and their “problems”. Lots of sex, love triangles, mind games and secrets. Oh, and of course there’s a mystery blog that publishes all the secrets of Manhattan’s elite (that being basically four people). The secret identity of gossip girl isn’t that big of a plot point, at least early on. The main characters are probably too busy partying, hooking up and dealing with their terrible parents to care about somebody documenting their lives.
Gossip Girl has a lot of similar elements to Control Z, but it’s way more messier, dramatic, over the top and fast paced. Although its problematic moments and lack of representation definitely make it a guilty pleasure, it’s still one of the most iconic teen dramas to this day.
ELITE [2018-...]
If you want to watch another show in Spanish, this one’s for you.
Rich teenagers in a private school. Check. Mystery drama. Check. A LOT of secrets. Check. And on top of that, sex, drugs, parties and MURDER.
The most appealing thing about the show must be the striking set of characters with different backgrounds, struggles, fears and desires. Although, just like in Control Z you can’t really trust anybody as you set forth on this murderous journey.
PRETTY LITTLE LIARS [2010-2017]
A story about four estranged friends, whose lives are turned upside down by an anonymous threatening their lives and unraveling their secrets.
This is honestly a mess of a show. Too convoluted, with many plot holes, and questionable storylines. What kept the attention of the audience throughout the years were the characters and the romantic pairings. Nonetheless, the show’s entertaining and suspenseful. With higher stakes if we compare it to Control Z.
T@GGED [2016-2018]
T@gged is a psychological thriller. We follow three girls who try to find out who’s tagging them in violent videos.
The production is low-budget, yet there’s beautiful scenery and camera work. It isn’t a typical glossy teen show. The characters and their struggles are realistic and relatable. It tackles such topics as drug abuse, suicide, depression, self harm, cyber bullying. It is darker and scarier that Control Z, and it is the only underrated show on this list.

YOU [2018-...]
If you enjoyed Raul’s villain origin story in episode 7 and/or would like a more realistic and in depth glimpse into the psyche of an obsessive stalker, YOU is for you. It takes the stalker plot to another level, actually exposing it for what it is in real life, creepy and unhealthy. Watching a girl through her windows, following her at the park and kidnapping everyone who stands in your way is not cute. Joe is no Raul, but he is what Raul failed to be, a well-written villain.
SHERLOCK [2010-2017]
So, Sofia being able to read everyone’s secrets just because she’s introverted and observant was far-fetched. Moreover, it wasn’t original. The idea of cutting frames, flashing clues and close-ups was taken straight from Sherlock. It was the first show Control Z reminded me of. And if you want a detective show of higher quality, here you go.

Now admittedly some of the fandoms for these kind of scare me, but that doesn’t change the fact that it would be cool to talk to someone about any of them. Also note that some of them I have not completed, so don’t expect me to know everything. Will post art and fiction based on any of these when I feel like it, if people are cool with that. I note that this is getting very long, so the next post will be a continuation of this list.

So, Sherlock season 5 should be all about them solving crimes together- as usual and Mycroft's visits, Hudson's shipping and them denying, everything as is. Three new episodes, three cases- that's it.
Then, then the movie should be about Johnlock admitting their love, kissing and finally us all resting in peace.
I don't remember what episode it was from or if I read it in one of Sir Arthur's writings but Sherlock deduced that a person had a pampered dog as he saw a hair of it on their collar or nearby area. Different breeds shed differently, my dog is a heavy shedder and I find his hair even on the insides of my washed clothes. I'm pretty sure he never really climbed there. So, I think he was a bit wrong there👀

Just a random thought...
In Season 5 of Sherlock,
The first scene will be of a sunny morning in London, busy streets, people moving in and out of Speedy's, Mrs. Hudson making her morning cuppa while feeding Rosie who is sitting on her high chair.
Then it'll be Sherlock who wakes up first, he walks out of his room in a sheet, yawning, moving towards the table to glance over his petri dish where he's growing a kind of mould. John follows Sherlock out of the room and reaches for the newspaper and settles down in his armchair.

“Oh look,” said John. “There’s a bee.”
“Hmmm,” Sherlock agreed, noting the colour of the abdomen, the hairs prevalent on the thorax. “ Anthidium maculatum. Wood carder bee,” he added at John’s mildly exasperated look. “One of many species of solitary bees.”
“I thought bees live together in a hive?” John said, watching the little creature as it clambered up a stem.
“That’s a common misconception,” Sherlock said, rifling through a cabinet in his mind palace for the correct information. “In the UK, there are around two hundred and seventy species of bee, and two hundred and fifty of those species are solitary bees.”
“Huh,” John said, peering even closer. “So this little lady doesn’t have a family and friends to go back to?”
“Little gentleman,” Sherlock corrected. “And no, probably not. He might spend some time with a mate, if it suits him, but for much of his life he will be alone - flying from one flower to the next, foraging, and doing exactly as he wishes.”
“Sounds a bit lonely,” John said, and Sherlock snorted.
“No need to romanticise the bee, John. I assure you, he is quite content with his solitary life.”
“I’m not so sure,” John mused, and they both watched as the bee moved on to a different stem. “It’s all very well visiting all these places, seeing all these things. But with no-one to share them with? Not sure I’d like that.”
“Really? I would like it just fine,” Sherlock said, and this time it was John who snorted.
A bit peeved, Sherlock eyed him. “What?”
“You? You go mad when you don’t have someone to talk to - so mad that you start talking to inanimate objects. You love explaining about things you’ve seen, things you’ve learned. And you like having a place to come home to every night, with someone familiar there. We’re flatmates, remember - though I’m pretty sure you don’t need help with the rent. You are no more a solitary bee than I am.”
Sherlock stared at him.
John was still watching the bee, though his cheeks had gone a bit pink. “What’s it doing now?”
With some difficulty, Sherlock brought his attention back to the insect. “It’s collecting the tiny hairs from the stem of the plant. Wood carder bees use those to build their nests.”
“So… this one did find someone to go home to, after all,” John said slowly. He was watching Sherlock from the corner of his eye, and inexplicably, Sherlock blushed.
“I… I suppose he did,” he said, and made sure to keep his eyes fixed on the delicate fluffy body in front of him, that flew around against all laws of physics.
