Stucky AU: Spa Day

Steve was given a gift certificate for a spa day by Sam and Natasha (they regularly told him off for being a workaholic). It sat in a drawer, forgotten, until he had a particularly long week and decided to finally cash it in.

There he met Bucky, one of the massage therapists. Steve became a regular at the spa and would always request him.

Those around Steve started to notice how much happier he was and that he was taking better care of himself, not overworking so much. His friends gift had worked just not in the way they anticipated. It wasn’t because of his spa visits or even the massages he received.

It was getting to see Bucky.

Bucky looked forward to their sessions too and he couldn’t help feeling a little smug and proud that he could always feel Steve’s stress melt away under his fingertips.

And maybe it had something to do with how his heart pitter-pattered whenever he saw him.
