I work at a movie theater and there is an empty spiderman showing tonight. Completely empty. Nobody bought tickets.
I’m getting whiplash because we went from completely packed theaters to nothing. Wtf.
I have a double shift at work today and I can’t wear my binder for that long so I’m currently on my lunch break changed out of my binder and into a hoodie and I really hope that people don’t notice that I’ve been in the bathroom for a suspiciously long time 0-0
I wish I could be the kind, courageous, and generous employee the customers think I am. Like sir, I'm not giving you free water out of the goodness of my heart. It's because the water. . .is free.
The only revenge I ever got:
Me: I think I’m autistic.
Coworker: No you’re not. Trust me, my brother is autistic so I know what it looks like.
*after the coworker has left and come back a year later*
Me: Hey do you remember that conversation we had last year about me not being autistic?
Coworker: Yeah?
Me: I got diagnosed. I am autistic. You were wrong.

I cried today at work.
There was a girl who was kind of a new coworker, and I complimented her voice. She was shocked, and thanked me profusely, and told me that she is very insecure about her voice and that it meant a lot to her that I liked it. She said that just yesterday she had been feeling down because of how much she disliked it.
I didn’t cry a lot, but my eyes got watery and a few tears leaked out. I was devastated that she didn’t like her own voice, because I adored it so much and it hurt that she didn’t see the beauty in it. But mostly I cried because of how sincerely she thanked me, and it felt so good to be able to lift her spirits at least a little bit. As I walked away and continued my work, it dawned on me for the first time in my life that perhaps I really am useful, and that I am a good person.
If all I have accomplished by the end of my life is complimenting her, then her reaction alone makes my life worth it.
My friend: Your boot’s zipper is broken.
Me: Oh, it’s fine! That zipper’s just for decoration. The real zipper. . . *displays shoe* is also broken.
My friend offered me a ride home but I already had a ride so I didn’t go with her, but as she drove away she shouted “I love you!” out her window and I just kind of

I had been speaking to my coworker, and then I had to leave, but she called my name and I turned and was like “What?” and she just smiled and happily said “Love you”

UPDATE ON SLOT 66
There is now brown food, such as brownies and other such foods, placed into slot 66. I am okay with this, because when blood dries, it turns brown, so red and brown are allowed to be in slot 66 as long as it is predominantly red.
I JUST REMEMBERED THAT MY COWORKER PAT MY HEAD TODAY AND IT WAS THE CUTEST THING EVER
I have never had my head pat before, but I always found the idea endearing, and then she pat my head as she passed by and I just kind of froze and didn’t know what to do and just spluttered for a few seconds because it felt so nice and then she DID IT AGAIN and I thanked her. I sincerely hope I did not weird her out.

Okay so I got the raspberry Twinkies, but unlike what I was expecting, they were just regular Twinkies with a raspberry-flavored coating. They were incredibly far too sweet, and I had a hard time finishing them. Anyways.
My dude just brought a bag of sausages to work for lunch. Not even in their regular packaging, just a large ziplock bag of sausages.

My workplace finally added a place to insert a card on the vending machine, so I got to eat a smol pie on my lunch break
