[This came purely from the fact I love those birdflash fics where they have a relationship reveal because the justice league is scouting nightwing as new recruit, and I went but what if it was refused with flamebird!wally?]

Wally comes home and is like "hey rob, uncle Barry just offered for me to join the justice league you and spooky mind if i join you on the big boys team?" And dick just calls Oracle and asks her for the footage of that conversation because holy shit he needs to see his future uncle in-laws reaction to that conversation!

it's just so. tim and kon have so much going for them in the comics - tim taped wendy while kon was in hypertime, their whole fight on apokolips, batman claiming that tim "speaks highly" of kon, kon having the batcave landline in his contact book not long after he first met tim, robin!kon, the "your voice drops an octave when you get all commander-like" line and the Everything before it, the winick closet moment, they were his colors, and so much more. they have such a rich history and relationship across so many comics!! they genuinely have so much going for them!!!!

and then you try to look at the tag on ao3 or tumblr and it's just full of homophobic stereotypes, shovel talks, and the same 2.5 tired jokes about tim/ber or clone babies, maybe with a bit of clark bashing thrown in for flavor, because no one making these posts has fucking read the comics and they don't even know where the ship came from, but god forbid they get out of the comics tags. jesus fucking wept.

I had to wait till the next session to go though the rest of my current teen years, also she looks like she's going to cry evertime I tell her about something abusive I realised my dad did to me (e.g S/A me, use isolation punishments etc)

I kin both dick and tim simply because I was parentified as a child.

Anyways I headcannon/believe they have been parentified in different ways.

Dick: is more ur the oldest so you have to be the responsible co-parent instead of my child

Where tim is: u have to be a responsible adult and get ready to take care of your parents by being ready for a job at 6 years old.

In other words:

Dick; older sibling parentifcation

Tim; only child parentification / "your 5 thats an adult."

Okay so basically the fic goes like this jon gets back from something & damian is in colledge. Tim & jon meet flirt a bit then go on a date, one of the bats(duke?) see this and tell the rest of the family.

This makes damian very agnsty and also he won't let anyone in his dorm cause it's Bassically a shrine to jon.

Kon is incredibly upset about it and takes it out a lil on tim. (He is unaware of his crush)

Jon and tim decide to continue fake dating to figure out why their bff/crush is acting so weird

Some stuff happens (damian's b-day?)

Then kon relizes he likes tim while talking to mama kent just before a family dinner jon is coming to. Kon is angry at jon and is upset at himself about it.

This all comes to head at the family dinner and kon learns the truth, after that timkon get together.

Jon comes to Damians dorm and sees inside, they have conversation about whats going on and get together.
