The Truth About Music
Music can change someone’s whole life. One song can make a bad day a good day or something that’s misunderstood, understood. It can teach you how to live. It can show you how to love. It can spread peace and connect people from distant lands. It is a force of empathy that transcends propaganda and the prostitution of the populous. It can brings all classes together to show class separation is an illusion. All of this, music is and can do when created for such reasons.

It's been a crazy fucking journey coming back to life after quite a long and dark battle with heroin and fentanyl. Throughout it she's been on my mind everyday. At all hours of the day and night I'm haunted by the thought I'll never be with her, again. I try to let go but I can't. I can still see her in the back of a memory somewhere smiling back at me with all the love in the world. She refuses to talk to me, now.. I fucked up everything :(

In my home in Broward County, Florida getting ready for Hurricane Irma to hit. Just brought all of my lawn furniture inside and now it’s time to chill, smoke a little and try to prepare my mind for what’s coming….
Much love to everyone with me in Florida right now and everyone else around the world experiencing these weather catastrophes first hand.
And I also have to mention this: thank you so much tumblr because I just started getting my iTunes payments for my album sales this morning and I’m currently using that money to stock up on as much food for myself and my pets as possible and it couldn’t have been better timing. As a starving artist, I was not prepared for this hurricane. Almost all those album sales were from people here on Tumblr. You guys are literally saving my life.
This is your reminder...
Guilt is temporary but shame lasts as long as you hold on to it. Be strong, grow, and gently let go.

My life is just like NASCAR. It’s really really reallly boring 98% of the time and I’m just constantly going in circles….but when I crash that’s when everyone remembers “ohhh yeah that’s why we pay attention to Mike.”
And then they watch semi-worried and semi-entertained as I go up in flames.
