Starscream trying to redeem himself song

I'm sorry but man the lyrics are really like Starscream actually trying to make amends but due to his self destructive tendencies he keeps failing. He also wants everyone to know he is actually wanting to change but doesn't know how to.

"I swear, I will die trying" literally cannon because everytime he has changed or become a hero he dies, straight away sometimes.

"I'm not a good person, I'm bearly a person at all" cannon cause I say so and let me explain. He knows he's an asshole and sometimes he purposely acts like one for reasons. And in some of the darkest versions of Megatron's and Starscream's relationship he is quite literally a slave to Megatron and a "whipping boy" actual quote from Starscream and it makes me sick.

4th Wall breaking Starscream moments would be hilarious PT.2

Soundwave and Starscream are just standing side by side in the nemesis whilst Megatron is talking about a new plan to destroy the autobots.

Starscream to us: Now you want to know why Soundy is standing right next to me. And no it's not cause we are supposed to. Listen hear and don't tell anyone I told you this or otherwise I'll be banned from the 4th wall. This guy right here can read minds but only at a close proximity like we are in now. See the producers have never made it clear, those lazy afts, I really hate their fleshy guts.

And then you slowly see Soundwave facing Starscream with absolute horror.

And after a whole minute Starscream goes: Wait if he can read minds. And I just broke the 4th wall. And the scene didn't pause. And he's standing right next to me. And he always reads my mind that means. Oh frag.

But during this part the scene did freeze so Soundwave didn't hear that part. Starscream is hyperventilating worried he'll be experimented with.

Soundwave is concerned. Cause he thinks starscream has gone full schizophrenic mode and not half anymore.

I feel like Starscream should be given a 4th wall breaking ability

Like the moments are similar to how Deadpool does it like imagine a scenario that goes:

Megatron and Starscream arguing.

Starscream staring directly at us as the scene pauses: I interrupt this scene to give a warning for the viewers. I believe it's around the time I get my ass beaten up. So if you are uncomfortable or whatever with abuse I suggest you skip to 10:54.

The scene unpaused but Megatron just walks away with a huff.

Starscream whispering whilst pulling the screen down: Now that's a suprise. A good one of course. Primus really is shining down o-Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

Megatron in fact did not leave and was just waiting for his fussion canon to charge. And skipping to 10:54 was actually correct.

Me when I finally draw again for a week.

School is a pain and tests are worse but I have this guy to keep me going (he's telling me to kms(he's not even real I'm imagining things)

Reasoning on why Starscream is quite literally an angry murderous teenager (to me, it's like a head cannon/theory)

So Starscream is around 25 ish in human years in G1 and you take away the war he was definitely around 17 when he joined the war and lost Skyfire. Now when you're 17 you'll be in college/university and I think that's similar to the Cybertron thing in G1 the show.

Starscream goes on an exploration with Jetfire away from Cybertron and I'd like to think you have to be a certain age requirement and qualification to pass and G1 Starscream did go but in Skybound when Skyfire leaves Starscream doesn't go with him and he's seen as if following Skyfire's carer path. So he's definitely in his early teens and he didn't join the war in the beginning so he's been fighting for less than 200 years (which might be around 3 years in human terms except these guys age faster when they are younger)

So whilst G1 Starscream may be young Skybound is even younger and with my idea of Starscream and Ulchtar being a split personality with no memories of the other Starscream is mentally a 11 year old whose first action was killing and in total he would probably be around 12/15.

Ulchtar was shown to love bugs so I feel like he would have absolutely loved the humans and animals and would find ravage cute.

Thanks, I Hate It by Simple Creatures but it's about Starscream 's and Megatron's relationship (not romantically unless you view it as such) from Starscream's pov.

"Am I good enough for you" portrays that no matter how he acts, loyal, disloyal, submissive or resistant Megatron will always seek the opposite or still view it and therefore him as disgusting making him the perfect punching bag simply for Megatron's very own amusement. In every universe, with the main ones with this problem being armada and prime, he gets treated as somebody with potential by Megatron yet he also denies Starscream that growth.

"I don't owe you anything" is something that Starscream himself would only think in his anger towards Megatron but may have only truly processed those words as true after the war (in the versions he survives for a bit after, such as him in the Windblade comics). This reflects how he -and every other abuse victim- doesn't and shouldn't offer their abuser anything no matter how much your life is centred and controlled by them, they don't deserve you.

"But I gave you everything" shows the fact that Starscream sometimes and maybe in the beginning of everything did try so hard to please Megatron. But he didn't need to do all of that as it only buried the hole he was getting swallowed by even larger and more difficult to escape from.

"Watch you pile it up and sing - Thanks I hate it" summarises Megatron's mentality and actions when it comes down to Starscream. Megatron will rarely accept something he gives and when he does praise is rarely given which may mirror any abusive relationship (I view it as an abusive adopted Father and their dysfunctional son that becomes even worse with the abuse - though see it however you want).

"No you're never satisfied" is Megatron's constant berating and thirst of Starscream's agony.

"Now you wanna run and hide" resembles how in the many times Megatron has been redeemed he has never apologised to the person he influenced and corrupted the most. The exception of this was Earthspark but even then Megatron was warning everyone how Starscream is worse than he ever was. He showed care for the other decepticons well being yet was inconsiderate of Starscream's. He's too scared to face the truth of his actions or view it as important to his path to peace, therefore hiding himself from his second in command as if everything will be dropped and sorted out.

The point is- Starscream should be accountable for his actions only if Megatron will be as well and if we brush everything he's done then we should do the same for Starscream. Yet Megatron should still face him either way if he truly is a "good guy". Starscream deserves that closure even though he thinks that killing and taking his place will ease everything it wouldn't.

Headcanon time -and Megatron making an appearance

He's so frustrating I can't.

So I think that due to his spark being immortal/indestructible he has this natural fear of death. Even though he doesn't know he is immortal his body or even his mind(subconsciously or his spark) controls him when in some situations that could get him killed as he will still feel the pain of death but have to live through it over and over so it ,and in terms he, will do anything to escape that fate without realising why. And even though like "fear of death no shit" I feel like it's something that would suffocate him at the mere thought of it and he doesn't know why. Basically you get the fear and times it by a billion. This could explain why he acts so unlike himself in certain situations.

Like imagine him having full breakdowns cause he thought of ways he could die too much due to his paranoia and it physically and mentally burns as his spark will do *anything* to stop the possibility. Also could be seen as a defense mechanism, if they don't kill you how will they know they can do it again to hurt you more. Especially with Megatron cause I think he would be the reason it gets worse throughout the war as Starscream knows Megatron wants to hurt him not just kill him so when you take out the factor of death. Megatron can do whatever he wants. But Starscream isn't even aware of all this even though the affects of it are taking over his life.

Anyway here's a shitty meme I made

The starscream brain rot be hitting hard. And I have another song idea that fits him which has turned into a character analysis as well.

'The Mind Electric' with the bits that goes

"Someone help me understand what's going on inside my mind" could be the change of Starscream's mentality due to the normalisation of his abuse and how he views it as -normal-. And if it's Skybound it could be whatever the hell Megatron did to force Starscream to kill the prisoners when he first joined.

"Doctor I can't tell if I'm not me" literally the post war Starscream being paranoid he's not the same person at all as he was before like a clone maybe and the fact that he can't form connections with anyone. And again in Skybound it's the gap between Ulchtar and Starscream.

"See how I laugh at you" resembles Starscream constant undermining of others to make him feel better due to his insecurities and also the fact that his whole life he was laughed at so he does it back similar to the "abuse cycle".

"No you'll never understand" right after that bit shows how nobody has been in his situation and nobody tried to understand or reach out to help him mentally without blaming him for it or even just completely brushing it off. Also highlights how nobody believes him when he tries to talk about the abuse (Hashtag did tho even said how she believes Megatron who she looked up to a bit ig hurt him, a complete 180 of what everyone else does and the fact that she is close to Megatron but isn't brushing it off says so much -nobody has mentioned this from what I've read which is weird cause it just shows how clear Starscream's PTSD is (also fuck Hasbro for taking it away from us)). Saying how he brought it upon himself and that he kept trying to usurp Megatron meant he deserved it. And again shows how he can't grow attachments cause nobody views him as a victim only a failure who deserves his punishment so they don't find reason behind his actions. Not trying to "understand" why he hurts people or in the songs case "laugh" at them because they don't see him as a product of abuse that needs to be cared for. Only a bot who's worse than Megatron ever was.

Like it's all I see at the 'why not me?' bits. And at the end I see it as him being in bed(berth?) and hyperventilating in desperation but also throwing something at the walls in anger.

The way it's like 'get real' is just so childish to me I can't stop giggling. I guess it's another reason to add to my Starscream is a angsty young teen list.

Also the insult is literally like teenage movie insults you can't lie.

I know everyone and their mom is posting this saying about the bitch part but I'm still going to have my say.

Little Skybound Starscream Character analysis or breakdown of SMT that I saw nobody mention. Bear with me.

So the basics are - Starscream was first Ulchtar and changes name after his friend died and his eyes also turned red. So we have that down but if you look at the words Starscream says

'My name is Starscream' but also when we learn he is still alive after his fight with soundwave he says

'Starscream that's my name' which mirrors the words when he changed his name. Also it's more of a reassurance that that truly is his name but there's nobody around so the one he's trying to convince is himself. If that's not enough he chose his name from Genvo's last words and in the picture above he is saying them again to Genvo's first words that we as readers hear. (So that gives a lot more depth and it may not seem that much but further down it does help tie some ideas together.)

Also in this scene it could be viewed as Starscream arguing against the voice he hears almost as if he doesn't remember that he had a different name before and is probably why he himself hasn't brought it up afterwards because to him it was a hallucination that got his name wrong. Or it could simply be him not wanting to remember it as he knows the last him would regret what he has turned into. But I do think he might have forgotten some things if the past at least and that may be due to Megatron but I'll do that part in a different post.

So my point is - Ulchtar and Starscream are not 'exactly' the same person they are like different points in life but instead of it being like a sequel it's more like an entire reset to the story.

Sorry if my writing is bad I'm literally a kid and tho I cook in my English writing NOW it was not without failing really badly I EVEN CHEATED MAN.

I lied I couldn't find a way to add the primes (yet tho DW) and I didn't feel like doing TC and SW yet so more shockwave content. Part of the au in previous posts. The next post of the au is going to be with soundwave to match with this (it will give more information).

So yeah my reason that empurata isn't a thing is that he's younger here and also the council isn't able to do that also it doesn't exist. That's why I kept some similarities to his usual face with the colours and soundwave.

My plan is to post some intros and lore of this au for a bit and then I'll stop so I can practice drawing so I can give more content and also maybe writing.

First time drawing Megatron and I swear he's just ugly like that not because of my drawing. Anyway I'm trying to find references to continue more work but it's proving to be difficult.

little piece of a little project that I'm finishing up. I predicted so much in Skybound about starscream like how he really was innocent and ig that doesn't seem like much but I also said he wouldn't even hurt a bug and guess what it was a major thing in his backstory. I also knew that Megatron had somehow forced him to kill didn't know exactly but yeah it would be an innocent or against codes. And guess what again, it happens. So I'm predicting a redemption arc (I'm coping okay) that he gets some crazy bpd as Megatron's hold on his mind gets erased or whatever that was and you have ulchtar and starscream and ulchtar wins or smt and starscream gets to see how the world actually works and happily ever after and ain't nobody going to see this.
