It was a long day for Charlie, school was too long today, he had 2 tests, he stupidly brought only one sandwhich and an apple forgetting he had no money on him and so after almost 9 hours of school spaning over 10 classes he was finally heading home.

Naturally, missing his bus ment walking home, but he was so hungry his stomech hurt, he needed a rest. He walked inside, the bell wrang ''hi Cinder'' he said, his voice was numb ''hi Charli- oh, oh goodness, are you alright?'' She asked, her wrinkled face expressed concern, her curly, firey red hair - which had started gaining white ashy streaks in it long ago - rested on her shoulders which were covered in a purple shawl, she had a flower hairpin in her hair, ''oh, Burny! Burny! Where are you, I need you start the hotdog mechine'' she called to her husbend in the mini kitchen, her voice was soft and deep, her tone was motherly ''you must be starving, its past four PM and you've probebly just gotten out of school! Sit down, i'll go get you a hotdog, on the house'' she usherd charlie to sit on the chair, something which was slightly harder considuring how short she was, her hight came with her age turning her from an avregly highted slightly chubby women to a short slightly chubby women, she was always this kind though, there was never a time she wasnt this sweet ''I cant except this Cinder, i have to pay you'' Charlie said ''noncense!'' She answered ''trust me darling, you do enough to earn this, if it werent for you Sasha and Sock would have to orgenise and clean the bookshelve by themselves, it's tedius! I just wanna rant a bit about one of Charlie's mamabird AU kids, his name is Skull, he has bone white skin, bone black hair and something called ''pheonyx eyes'' i belive which is when your irises are so dark they look black and this man is the HORNIEST most FLIRTY and smooth af man alive, and also A RAGING FUCKING IDIOT!! You wanna know why? Becuase he left his partner of 10 years, a trans man named Ganymede, for 6 YEARS to find some asshole distent reletive of his to beat the shit out of him for draining his younger sister's college fund for gambling and LOOSING, then after 6 years of abstence he comes back, finds his boyfriend, flirtiusly (is that a word? It is now ig) apolagizes to him, swoops him off his feet, GETS HIS BOYFRIEND TO PROPOSE, and then PROCEEDES TO GET HIM TO BOTH AGREE TO A CHILD AND PUT A BABY IN HIM, within 2 DAYS of coming back after being gone for 6 YEARS and comunicating with his boyfriend no more then once a mounth via letters, HIS BOYFRIEND DOESNT HAVE A MAILBOX!! ALL THE LETERS WENT TO HIS MOTHERS HOUSE! So yeah, Skull is very smooth

Suddenly, and arrow hit the tree behind Charlie ''you missed'' he said nochalontly, the girl laughed ''i was aming for the red dot, not your face Charles'' she said, her poster was playful and she was slouching in an exagerated way before moving her hand to her hip and looking at him with a playful expression ''such a shame, I'm starting to miss Thantos'' he said smiling, she laughed. Her wavy, cocolate brown hair was in a half up half down style, Charlie never understood why she put so much effort into keeping it wavy since it was naturally straight but from what she told him it was probebly in an attempt to look more like her adoptive father, the two were totally diffrent in apearence, he had white hair, pale skin and cold red eyes but her hair was a dark, chocolaty brown, her eyes were a deep hazel and her skin was brown like the fur of a brown baer, she wanted to look like her dad but her hair was the only thing she could make look like him so she changed it to match him. 'She looks nice today' Charlie thought, he was right, she was wearing her favorite outfit, a black tanktop with a dark camo jachet and matching pants, she also wore combat boots, adding some hight to her already tall stature, her arrows were in her basket that was straped to her back and her jacket was way off her shoulders showing off her lupa's pack tattoo, a black bow and arrow, stretched and ready to be shot, right on her right upper arm, she was smiling, and her eyes seemed to gleem with excitment ''you'll see him soon enough, the family gathering is next week'' she said as she went to hug him, he huged her back.

I made a lot of heartstopper AU's but my personal favorite that i somehow incorprate into all my other AU's is mamabird Charlie AU.

In this AU Charlie starts going to this summer camp at the age of 6, this summer camp has a wherehouse when the kids are activly incoreged to use stuff lime woodsaws and flametourches for arts and crafts with metal and wood (with supercision of course). Think of it as cabin 9 from PJO just without the beds ppl use to sleep, with half the chaos and with two floors connected by stairs, a lader, a slide and a pole, super cool IK. When Charlie starts going to the wherehouse he started to teach himself how to use the equipment and he mastered it even better then the camp's workers who were multiple years older then him (they were all over 18 and had licenses to use said equipment). By the time Charlie was 8 he was basically king of the wherehouse, he knew how to use everything, he could help everyone with everything and anything, so naturally kids started looking up to him. It started small, a few kids who lacked perental figures started seeing him as a parental figure, Charlie noticed it and would pay more attention to them which eventually gave him a parental instict which made him act motherly to them. Then the names started, it started off with this kid who was 4 years older then Charlie, his name was Eden, his mom was an abusive druggie and an alcoholic and his dad was absent, when Charlie was 6 he stood up for him infront of bullies and took him under his wing saying ''if you're mom doesnt love you then i'll be your mom and i'll love you and ill be super lucky becuase i do'', he'd always call Charlie mom but then he started doing it more, than it spred, those kids Charlie was maturnal to started calling him veriations of 'mom' 'dad' or 'parent', eventually even the kids older then Charlie started calling him that, and thats how Charlie became ''mamabird''

When Nick and Charlie went to deadpool and wolverin they went as deadpool and wolverin and they had the most HEATED argument about who should cosplay who at the end of which they both agreed that Charlie would go as Wade/deadpool becuase he tells both dirtier jokes and more dirty jokes than Nick and that Nick would go as Logen/wolverin becuase his obsession with fruit juices could be considured as the most alcohol free, minor-safe equivalent to alcoholism

then you have percy, who was always a rule-breaker, though he is serious about the uncertainty of kids. he wants to be responsible in this, to not tie jason down (despite jason being ready to Pop The Question & Die for him at a moment's notice lmao). still, his brain is barraging him with thoughts of what a good dad jason would be, of how much he needs jason to breed him Like Yesterday

ultimately, i think it'd be fun to see like a cat-&-mouse, will-they-won't-they of "i wanna respect your decision but also i'm gonna lose my mind if i can't have you right now" situation on both ends. it would probably end with percy seducing jason ("seducing" being as tame as wearing shorts & eating a popsicle around him tbh, these guys don't take much lmao) before jason is bending percy over the nearest available surface to finally give in, pregnancy or otherwise.
