We don’t just want hero rep we want all rep otherwise people might think we’re all boring
I’ve seen some confusion about this lately, so just to clarify:
Every character with a mostly green color scheme is canonically aromantic.
Every character with a mostly purple color scheme is canonically asexual.
Neither of these are up for debate. Hope that helps!
A few weeks I was watching a movie with a really forced (het) romance and a side (mlm) couple who weren’t together canonically but they’re really obviously in love the actors have said that they’re homoerotic
Then a watched the third movie (the one I was talking about is the second) and the forced romance wasn’t in it and the side characters both were and they still didn’t get together but one guy (the one from the forced romance) KISSED THE CAPUCHIN which if you aren’t aware is a type of monkey
And it will annoy me till the day I die
P.S. I’m talking about night at the museum
Why is no one talking about how Crowley is also Aziraphales’s emotional support demon?
Honestly I need this
Making this cause I have an idea... if I were to make a sideblog specifically for aro and ace fandom stuff (books, shows, podcasts, etc with ace and aro characters, or sharing posts about characters that are canonically and headcanoned as aro and ace) would people follow it? Hoping to create a space where aros/aces/aroaces can connect but like using a fandom space as a jumping off point
Say 'woot woot' in the tags if you're interested. Or just help me signal boost?
My theory for Kitty’s death:
Historically, pineapples were used as decor to show that you have money, as they were very expensive.
And, in ‘The Thomas Thorne Affair’ (S2E4) Kitty says ‘Pineapple?! Goddess, no. They were wealthy, but they weren’t royalty.’
And in ‘Something to Share?’ (S3E5) we see her sister purposely get Kitty in trouble by moving her mothers bust so she knocks it over.
Then, in the season five trailer we see a pineapple on a stand, being focused on.
So my theory is: Kitty’s family had a pineapple on display as they were rich and wanted to show it. Awhile after it had been purchased, Eleanor tricks Kitty into eating the pineapple with the intention of getting her in trouble, as they ate an expensive bragging item. But as it was old she gets food poisoning which results in her death. (A pineapple allergy or chocking could also happen.)
Thoughts?
Most people know Stede and Ed are both based on real people.
Less people know that Stede Bonnet was hung to death in December 1718 and Edward Teach was killed in battle with sailors November 1718.
And S1 is set in 1717.
This worries me for s2 or future seasons.
Does anyone know how to stop myself from stimming?
I think the reason non of the other ghosts have been sucked off yet is because they don’t want to.
Mary has said before that she wanted to be sucked off:
In The Thomas Thorne Affair(S2E4) she says “I used to dream of the day I would be sucked off’.
In Gone Gone(S4E4) she calls Robin a “lucky beggar’ when they think he got sucked off.
Whereas the other ghosts never express any want to move on:
In The Hardest Word(S4E3) the review(that Mary didn’t type) they say they never wanted to leave.
In Carpe Diem(S5E5) they’re all rather panicked at the thought that one of them may be sucked off.
So while I do think the ‘unfinished business’ trope does play a part in who gets sucked off (i.g. Mary had to talk about the trial), but those who want to stay will.
As an aromantic person I find the term ‘my other half’ to refer to a significant other so strange.
Because sometimes I think to myself; ‘That’s stupid, I don’t need another half I’m a whole person by myself. Amatonormativity is so weird.’
And others I think; ‘I will forever be alone, a fraction for all my life. Without a lover I won’t be a real person.’
