Everyone: "Unova had a bunch of references to it recently and we had gen 4 games not long ago, next mainline game is gonna be in Unova!"
Also Everyone: "Gen 2 would be up for a new game soon after Let's Go did Kanto, and the whole Pokemon Present was FILLED with Johto related stuff. Next game will be Johto!"

Remember when I said this?
Finally finished and I'm worried about how you all will take it. Oh well. At least I got it somewhat edited.
AND Lurien's essay is now 45 pages AND I discovered a secret room that I thought was made up by the fans. Goodness gracious Lurien, WHY!!!!
Anyway...expect the next part to "What's up with the Dreamers' Houses?" really soon!
Lurien had to go hide more stuff inside his Spire. His essay is now 35 pages and counting. It might take a bit before the next part is up.
While I'm writing the next part, you all can go look inside his Spire and see if you can discover the really weird thing for yourself.
Has anyone considered that maybe the lack of glowing green is because Kai no longer has the Jade Pendents????
Or that maybe he's weakened after getting destroyed by Po???
Pt 2 to the smooze juice eyes, he did get his green eyes back but it was MAJORLY nerfed
I have over 300 images of him i am not doing mentally well rn hmu if you want more
Sometimes, we break through and create awesome stories by asking questions.
Other times, we get a breakthrough because we ask ourselves if we are asking the right questions. When it comes to pacing, this is one of those times.
Pacing isnβt all about action. Itβs about making sure that everything you write advances the story, even the quiet moments.
Instead of asking whether a scene is exciting, ask whether a scene is important.
Does it develop the plot?
Does it develop your characters?
If it does one of the above, then it's important and will fit into the pacing of your story. If it's important, that makes it interesting. If it's not important, it will be boring β and that's what pacing is all about.
"Nice characters are boring" to YOU. I love characters who no matter what, will always have genuine love for humanity in their heart. Characters who dance and laugh and sing with sincerity. Characters who believe in others, and are willing to extend a helping hand to people when no one gave them the same luxury. Characters who have gone through so much but believe, no matter what, that humanity and life is something beautiful and worth protecting

β¨ progress pics β¨ {finished piece}
While I am quite pleased with my finished piece, it definitely took a hot minute to work out. The background took SO LONG to actually paint, but the worst part was trying to pose the hollow knight. They are so tall and so skinny it was really hard for me to pose them hunched over the way I wanted while also complimenting the pale king's smaller size next to them. Height and size differences real π©
I will probably color my rejected pose sketches soon, I did like them even if it wasn't quite the vibe I was going for for this piece ππ€ΈββοΈπ
