A little unofficial wedding ceremony after angelzai and demonchuu slaughtered some authorized angels who tried to send Dazai to the purgatory as a punishment for falling for a demon.

Let me introduce you to my College AU 👏 I randomly tought of this some time after watching the events in Merasault. Just wanted to take the sillies and put them into a situation where they didn't need to kill each other. Now they do this instead of studying for their exams.

Completed AU ref for Atsushi. Been a fun AU to work with, so I made a reference sheet for him.

I'll be honest, I'm not happy with the way the first two turned out. I've actually had them done for a few days and wasn't going to post them because I wasn't happy with them.

But I realized that would go against my own personal beliefs, which is that sharing even the art we're not proud of is important. Not everything we create will be or has to be perfect.

Sure, I kind of hate the way Chuuya's face looks, (also I think I got his hat wrong) Dazai's hair and both their feet. All I can really see are what I call "the screw ups". Fortunately, that's not all there is. For example, I'm very proud of how Atsushi turned out despite the fact that he kind of resembles Beast!Atsushi... I'm also not fussy on the shots without his jacket...

This turned into a long ramble, sorry, I just wanted to show off some A Graveyard For Angels designs. I gave Chuuya a brown jacket after a lot of back and forth with the colours and Dazai's bolo tie is more blue.

The line was supposed to go to Kunikida but Chuuya just said like, no??? Either way I'm having fun and I think I'll keep it, especially because I wrote that scene 1000 words ago.

So I made a post recently and mentioned that I had an idea for a DOA!Atsushi AU, right? Well now there's a small prologue and I've started chapter one...

And I made art...

I need to stop having ideas, because I don't know if it'll actually become something or if I'll drop it in a week and that upsets me T-T

I might post the prologue later

I had this idea based on the fact that we know Fyodor is probably the one who told Shibusawa about Atsushi.

I can't remember if we're told who finds Atsushi after he kills Shibusawa, but I ended up making a divergence there and having Fyodor find him.

Atsushi meets Dazai and Kunikida in the same way but under different circumstances as Atsushi is traveling around on a mission from Fyodor. He's just stopping in Yokohama for the night and the river scene goes pretty similar to canon.

That's about all I've got written so far, except it's 500 words in the document- I'll have to study up on Fyodor's character a bit more to make sure he's not OOC. Let me know if you'd be interested lol

facts abt my post canon bsd au (mostly atsushi and ada centric)

◇ takes place 4 years after everything with the DoA and Hunting Dogs is settled

◇ atsushi grows his hair back out so it's a little past his shoulders

◇ sigma joins the ADA

◇ fukuzawa retires but still comes around to check on his kids former employees and is on standby in case of any future disaster

◇ kunikida and ranpo agree to co-lead the agency. kunikida takes care of most of the paperwork and employee affairs (pour one out for kida) while ranpo keeps an eye out for cases that could be DoA level threat

◇ everybody gets therapy 🥳🎉!! that government hush money compensation check for being attacked by the Hunting Dogs was partially spent on a getting therapists who could actually help them with their issues (pour another one out for the therapists bc the shit they have to deal with...)

◇ genderfluid atsushi (he/she/they), agender dazai (he/him or it/its), nonbinary sigma (they/he)

◇ kunichuuzai canon. dazai and kunikida got together first, then kunikida and chuuya and finally after many schemes dazai and chuuya talked abt their feelings for each other and got together shortly after

◇ atsushi joins a local community college because she realized she can do stuff for herself outside of working. he's studying literature

◇ kyoka and kenji tried to go regular school for a short while before they realized that that they hated it, so kunikida toutered them helped them get a GED (public school couldn't handle them anyway)

(Idt its that bad but just in case) tw: implied w33d usage, implied paranoia, implied hallucinations.

◇ reason why atsushi was finally sent to therapy was bc they were convinced to get high to help their anxiety (one guess who convinced them) and had a bad trip. they got extremely paranoid, mentioned times he would hallucinate and had several concerning statements about himself. when he sobered up the agency said they were going and she only agreed to go if dazai went and surprisingly dazai agreed to go.(dazai planned to go one session and was somehow conned by his therapist to continue going)

◇ found family dazai, atsushi, Kyoka

◇ but also blood family bc wow dazai and atsushi are half siblings!! (Their dad was a hoe, I'll get into in a separate post)

◇ atsushi's orphanage gets shut down (ada birthday gift for atsushi) and gets a documentary made due to the horrific treatment of the children there

◇ sparring buddies chuuya and atsushi

◇ kyoka, kenji, aya and q friendship

◇ after being turned into a vampire akutagawa has sharper canines than the average human and while his lungs are slightly better he carries any inhaler with him just in case

◇ atsushi has more control over his ability in the future and can now shift into his full tiger form on command and communicate with byakko

◇ dazai is also working to control his ability more and can now shut it off for a few minutes before it kicks back on

◇ byakko is a sentient ability similar to arahbaki. she has been around for centuries and has had many different hosts, one who was the author of The Book.

◇ how did they defeat fyodor? Uhhhh he got eaten by rats, turned into one, the tiger ate him and bc of ability bs he stayed dead next question

◇ dazai also has slightly long hair and now uses a cane

◇ tanazaki sibs finally work on their codependency issues

◇ yosano and tachihara go to lunch every few weeks to talk abt shunzen and bond

◇ akuatsulucy canon

◇ sigma and ranpo bet on random shit together and ranpo is surprised at how talented sigma is at betting

◇ ranpoe are long distance relationship atm but poe is making arrangements to move to yokohama

◇ mori steps down as head of mafia for...reasons and kouyou swifty takes charge of the pm (it was supposed to be chuuya but he threatened to leave the whole city and dazai agreed to help sooo kouyou)

◇ atsushi and lucy take edibles

◇ atsushi and yosano both hate being called angel. If you do it it's the fastest way to lose an arm

BSD psych ward AU.....

Okay so I was thinking abt this one of the times I was in the hospital this past year, and when I got home I started writing my ideas down.

Atsushi centric, most likely. I wanna focus on his PTSD/C-PTSD more, as someone who has C-PTSD. I'm also sort of projecting my own experiences from the first time I was in the hospital onto his first (and hopefully only!) time. Here's what I have so far for the characters I want involved as patients:

Atsushi (he/they 15): Admitted for suicide attempt. First time there. Never been treated for any mental health issue. Gets diagnosed PTSD, MDD, GAD. Put on medication.

Dazai (he/him 16): That one kid that's there like once a month. Another suicide attempt. All the nurses and staff know him. He has WAY too many diagnosis at 16 to be ethical or accurate (BPD, ASPD, Bipolar 2, MDD, DpDr, C-PTSD, who knows what else)

Kenji (he/him 14): There for aggression, but super sweet. Diagnosed ED but the hospital doesn't specialize in it so they don't really care. He always asks the staff if they can go outside.

Akutagawa (he/they 15): Been there before, but not nearly as many times as Dazai. Suicide attempt. Still has his chronic illness in this AU.

Chuuya (he/him 16): There for aggression. Gets blackouts. Diagnosed IED and Bipolar 1.

Ranpo (he/him 17): Idek why he's there tbh. When asked he avoids the question or makes some joke. Sneaks extra snacks and juice from the caf in his pockets. Diagnosed ASD and ADHD. Maybe bulimia? i'm unsure.....

Kyoka (she/they 13): There for suicide and self harm. She's really quiet and is usually coloring or sleeping. Says as little as possible to her doctor and therapist. Waiting on her stuffed rabbit to be approved.

Q (they/them 11): That one kid that everyone agrees is too young to be there. There for self harm, suicidal ideation, and homicidal ideation. Seems sweet but also very unstable. Isn't allowed to have a roommate. On a Q10 (has to have a staff member with them at ALL times. In the shower, bathroom, etc. due to self harm in the hospital). They call some staff their "hospital mom". Diagnosed schizoaffective, ADHD, and ASD. One doctor has suggested a BPD diagnosis but they're WAY too young for that to be accurate. They've been a couple of times.

Ivan (he/him 16): There for a manic episode with psychosis. On way too many meds to be ethical. Most staff ignore him at this point. Can't have a roommate.

Sigma (they/she 16): There for depression, frequent panic attacks, and suicidal ideation. Very normal home life actually. One of the few people who doesn't argue with their family or cry on the phone. Diagnosed MDD, GAD, panic disorder, perhaps OCD?

Nikolai (any/all 17): There on a temporary detention order for tresspassing. Clearly unstable. Maybe even manic tbh no one knows what's going on with them. Good at talking to people. Gets bored so he's always trying to make some drama. Idk what his diagnosis are. Maybe BPD, bipolar, something idk

I know Soukoku is an overrated ship. But the angst we can create with Dazai and Chuuya is such a specific flavor fucked up but painfully poetic that it’s hard not to at least find them interesting.

Like what about the Soukoku where Chuuya sees Dazai again after several years of separation, and he’s the same.

Chuuya sees Dazai, and sure, on the surface he seems like a changed man. Happier. Better. A person who fights for good.

But Chuuya knows Dazai, and he knows that Dazai is only pretending. He knows Dazai is trying so hard to be this other person. To be what Odasaku wanted. He’s gone and tried to change everything about himself but his name, yet no matter how desperate he is he cannot escape who he once was. Who he was in the Port Mafia. Who Mori trained him to be.

And Dazai knows Chuuya knows, but it’s such an easy comfort. His old habits are down right addictive, after all. Every moment spent with Chuuya, Dazai risks falling into who he used to be.

Neither of them want that, but the idea of the ever looming possibility that everything Dazai worked for could be ruined by the Chuuya’s mere existence and the act of Dazai loving him is so very compelling to me.

Skk mermaid AU, where Dazai's the human who meets Chuuya the merman.

Chuuya has this long, almost eel-like tail. He has huge fins and spines reminiscent of the lionfish. In the water he commands so much space, his fins fanning and tail dancing in the current. He rarely rests on land because he struggles to keep his fins from getting everywhere.

Dazai usually takes his boat out to the water to see him, only occasionally will Chuuya come to the shallows, but even then he keeps most of his body in the water. Dazai is used to thinking of Chuuya as this great sea serpent instead of a merperson, because sometimes it looks like Chuuya's tail never ends when he circles around Dazai in the water.

It is a common myth that merfolk can grow legs and walk on land if they wish too and Dazai is always trying to convince Chuuya to come on land, telling him stories of all the things he'll show him beyond the beaches. Chuuya denies this myth adamantly.

But as time goes on, Chuuya's curiosity gets the better of him and he finally agrees.

The next morning Dazai is waiting by the surf, with a towel and clothes, just like they agreed. He's brought wild flowers from the fields, corny, but Chuuya is always so fascinated with the gifts from land that Dazai brings him. Excitement is bubbling in him, despite the long hours he'd told himself to be nonchalant the night before.

And then he sees Chuuya emerging from the water. A little unsteady on his new legs, the gentle waves making him unbalanced as he walks.

Dazai thinks he's further away than he his, but then Chuuya is in front of him far quicker than Dazai expected him to be. And what should have been this magical moment is ruined by Dazai bursting out laughing.

Because his great beast of the sea, his serpent with the tail that goes on forever, is a full head's height shorter than him.

Okay but we could take this further: a whole AU where everyone’s powers are reversed in some way or another.

A Dazai whose ability actually causes others’ abilities to activate when he touches them. (Forever Human)

An Oda whose ability lets him see seconds into the past rather than the future. (Flawed)

A Yosano whose ability kills perfectly healthy people instead of healing those near death. (Thou Shalt Perish)

A Kenji who is strong naturally but his ability makes him become weak but happy. (Defeated by the Sun)

A Fukuzawa whose ability makes the abilities of those in ranks above him near impossible to control. (No Men Are Equal)

A Chuuya whose gravity manipulation is limited only to putting extreme gravity on things he touches, and instead of corruption he gets purification, which actually restores him and limits his gravity ability, allowing him to use it how he would under normal circumstances. (Upon the Holly Smile)

A Bram who isn’t a vampire and can cure vampires instead of creating them. (Vampiris’nt)

A Fyodor who ACTUALLY FUCKING DIES.

Bsd except Atsushi is a reverse Weretiger aka he is a tiger that can transform into a human.

The Orphanage still ended up with him but treated him like a beast, only letting him out on the full moon.

But human Atsushi is rather unhinged and doesn't human well so feral tiger boy it is.

He's not a rampaging tiger, hes a weirdly very behaved random tiger all things considered. But he's still freaking people out and he's a menace on either form.

Atsushi can hold his human form better with All Men Are Equals. But Dazai will boop him and bam giant white tiger that bonks him on the head.

Akutagawa is just screaming insults at a very bewildered and than pissed off tiger. He's roaring and Akutugawa is screaming and they come to a werid agreement.

Atsushi is still a member of the Agency, tiger or human. He's got a lil badge and everything. Dazai is just like nah its cool guys this is our office tiger.

Cut to him getting bonked on the head, again.
