SPIN OFFS?

Ok I already know that teen wolf is already getting a spin off (even though I don't think it will fair better than the original) but (and I might be imagining this) Ian bohen put a tweet up saying there should be a hale spin off and like omg would I be so down for that! Like imagine all the different aspects and just times they could explore. Think about it

Smol derek, smol cora,Peter and Chris relationship, talia ...TALIA, Laura and all her greatness and any other family members them as a pack interacting with each other like my god I want it

My thoughts on Teen Wolf season 5

Ok so um... I just finished season 5 because I had a bit of an accident and couldn't really watch the show plus I didn't really like this season so yeah...

Anyway here is what I think about this season and once again spoiler alert 🚨

How should I start, well this season was a tad bit too much, there was so much going at once.

In the first half it was kind of weird the switching up between the past and present and in the second half there were just too many things happening at once. Don't get me wrong, there were some awesome concepts but since most of them were done just because (not really explaining much about them) or weren't done more in depth, it all lost its potential.

First we have the Dread doctors, at first they seemed like really great bad guys with interesting superpowers, experiments against the supernatural and badass costumes but then they all just u know were no more. They didn't reach their potential which sucks a lot.

Then we have the desert people (I forgot what they are called) that try to help Kira and Kira's problems with her powers all together. Those people seemed cool with unique powers but were only mentioned and even Kira's problems weren't fixed, so yeah

Then we've got Malia and the desert wolf, her mother. This one got at least resolved but it still felt rushed and unnecessary

Then we have Parrish and his hell hound powers problem. This one also felt rushed but it was nice seeing Parrish at the end more comfortable with his power.

Next was the Beast, which I know was connected to the Dread doctors but I was still like why? It felt kind of too much you know although it brought the character of Marie-Jeanne Valet and she was mwah, love her plus the French accent of all the characters from her era 🤌

Ok let's move on to individual characters (not all of them) plus some of them just kind appeared or disappeared.

Let's start with Braeden, like wasn't she with Derek? Weren't they together after the Desert wolf? Idk if it was explained but it was still huh? moment for me.

Next sheriff Stilinski, since when did he and Lydia's mum have a thing together? That was so out of nowhere. I love his character but he was an ass for most of this season and Lydia's mum even though she is supposed to be a psychiatrist in place of Deaton's sister (who I have btw kinda adored) wasn't helpful at all, like she wasn't listening to what the kids were saying.

Next, I hate Gerard and he was brought back *sight*

Next we have the whole thing with Theo like was everyone so trusting towards him? Like they knew him for only a bit and everyone is like 'yeah let's go with whatever he says and ignore everything that people I have known for some time already say'. That was so frustrating...

Connected to this is what Stiles went through when he killed that guy in self defense. Because he told everyone from the beginning that there was something off about Theo but did someone listen to him? No, they didn't. (Let's ignore for a while that he too for some time for whatever reason trusted Theo and told him about what happened) And then everyone was against him. For this it would have been awesome if there was someone like Derek or Mr. Argent who are not that trusting because then Stiles would have someone on his side for this and he would have been more confident in his gut feeling.

Oh yeah coach and Melissa Mccall were amazing. Love them. Together with others like for example Corey (the relationship between him and Mason was cute) or Aiden and Liam. And it was nice seeing once again Deucalion (I kinda like his character).

And yeah I guess this is all, for this season I had a lot to say but it's my least favourite season so far.

My thoughts on Teen Wolf season 4

Ok so spoiler alert 🚨

Sooo...

Idk how to feel about this season to be completely honest

For me it was kinda confusing with the dead pool and Kate thing going on u know?

Like the idea of a dead pool with all supernatural creatures was interesting yeah and I liked how Parrish was put more in the spotlight of the show I liked him in the third season (he is cool plus I like his need for justice if u know what I mean) though I want to see how his supernatural side works

I liked the different kinds of assassins (how many s are in this word?!) especially the mute idk why he was interesting

And I liked the whole detective thing going on with Stiles and Lydia too and their relationship altogether u know plus it was nice seeing Lydia dive in to her new found powers

I don't like Kate so I didn't really enjoy her whole arc on the other hand I freaking loved the Berserkers their whole design was awesome and them being basically indestructible was mwah yeah it was nice seeing the characters defeat something that is like a brick wall to them

I like and hate Peter and I will leave it like that yeah

Oh yeah and I will always adore sheriff Stilinski he is awesome

Ok look here I know some people will not agree with me on this one but I hated the relationship between Derek and Braeden because it felt forced? It was just out of place for me, it didn't feel right as most of the previous ones (now I mean for all the characters in the show) it just wasn't it yep

Whose relationship I liked was Scott and Kira they were cute though not as cute as Scott and Allison but it was still cute

My thoughts on Teen Wolf season 3

Ok now that I look at it I'm consuming Teen Wolf seasons hella fast

Idk if that's good or not...

Anyway spoiler alert 🚨

Ok so I love how all the family relationships progressed u know Stiles and his dad, Scott and his mom and Allison and her dad (especially this relationship) because it was so nice to see all the parents helping them since now they also know about the supernatural and that meant that now they could do things that were a big no before

Next thing the first half I was so frustrated with Kali because girl put on some DAMN SHOES!

Like yeah it was nice seeing different kinds of werewolf fighting styles but for this one why did she have to be bare foot all the time?

Another thing I hated how they killed off Boyd and Erica

I liked them...

Anyway moving on, I kinda knew from the beginning that there was something off with the teacher who turned out to be the one doing all the killings yeah...

Plus the whole thing with the alpha pack it was kinda cool but at same time kinda weird idk but I guess we got the twins out of it?

I liked the relationships, u know the twins and Lydia and Danny it was nice, it was cute

Oh yeah I enjoyed Peter's interactions with others and his attitude altogether I know he is a bad guy but an enjoyable one to watch hehe

Ok and I still don't like Scott bite me if u want on this one but he really isn't that much of a great friend even if he had some moments

Poor Stiles yeah, the whole season he was used, hurt, manipulateted and mentally tortured and he still cared about others and their feelings (I believe he had it worse than Lydia and Jackson)

But it was interesting seeing Stiles be the bad guy since he is the fun character

Oh yeah and I pray for mr Argent because he just lost his whole family or more likely his remaining family, u know his whole world crumbling down even if he says that it's ok (I know that the aunt returned at the end but I don't like her...)

And the death of Allison and one of the twins yeah that wasn't nice I liked them both

Ooh yeah I liked how Derek tried to help and cared for Stiles

I guess this is everything yeah

My thoughts on Teen Wolf season 2

Heya again, guess what I finished the second season yay

And here are my thoughts

Of course spoilers alert 🚨

Ok so first of all I started watching season 3 (only a few episodes though) right after so I might have some things mixed up a bit hehe

At the beginning I didn't really like how Derek was acting cus he was like one of those neighbors that smiles but acts like a total A hole but it got better throughout the season

The whole season I felt sorry for Lydia and Jackson cus both of them had their fair share of mind control not knowing what's really going on (yeah even for Jackson that can be a real jerk)

The scene with Stiles and Derek in a pool (I'm leave it like this)

Yeah and I still don't like that much Scott, like dude I know u are in love but your best friend doesn't deserve the treatment he is getting because of it (plus other werewolf things)

Yeah altogether Stiles is underappreciated and he is still my favorite character

And hear me out I like Alison but she so easily controlled/influenced by others like come on...

Favourite side characters this season are definitely Mrs Mccall and sheriff Stilinski, yeah they are awesome plus I kinda liked Peter when he came back thanks to Lydia and Derek

And the whole kanima thing was kinda gruesome and disgusting too

Altogether this whole season was sad with all the trauma and bullying and all plus it was yeah gruesome and sometimes a bit scary ngl

And this season was definitely better then the first one yeah

DAMN IT!

I JUST HEALED FROM BOTH FANDOM’S TERRIBLE ENDINGS! DON’T MAKE ME CRY AGAIN!

Why…why was Derek Dean’d?!?! Neither one deserved it! (I know why, terrible writers that wanted to kill the main fan ship) (that or now with everything going on, the writers were probably weren’t paid enough)

The fact being that this makes Stiles his Castiel hurts too because:

We never gotten the closure that we needed and wanted from his character

He gave the person he loves a personal item of his that he cares about because he knew the other person would take care of it (until the day they die)

He wasn’t there when the love of his life sacrificed himself, but if he was, he would have stopped him/wouldn’t have wanted to end like that

He knew that they both loved each other but never gotten the chance to give a proper confession/allow the other person to confess their feelings back

…This is why fanfics are better than canon!

i know we joke that derek got castiel’d but actually he got dean’d.

got a kid that is the carbon copy of the man he loved

was never able to tell the guy he was in love with him

deeply closeted with a bunch of dead ex-girlfriends

held on to a something of his S/O that was significant to them, even though he knew/was sure the other would never come back (the jeep/the trenchcoat)

died a pointless, miserable death due to bad writing, in a post-ending add-on to his main story

disgustingly, offensive hot

love that the coach is still an absolute mad man. only knows the names of like six of his students and they all graduated 15 years ago. doesn’t recognize derek hale unless he’s wearing all black and stalking said students by the bleachers. let’s 32 year old scott mccall play in the lacrosse game. may or may not remember that scott is a werewolf. just an absolute gem, rock on cupcake

i just need to know like. why and what is the reason and wherefore are we just deciding to kill off perfectly fine and capable and young middle aged characters with their entire fucking half a life ahead of them when they FINALLY step back from the life that should have killed them but didn’t like WHY CAN’T THEY JUST RETIRE AND TAKE THEIR KIDS FISHING AND HAVE BIRTHDAY PARTIES AND A WIFEHUSBAND TO KISS IN THE MORNING AND MAYBE SOME PIE FOR SUPPER ONCE IN AWHILE ITS NOT THAT DEEP

Authors Note – So, I wanted to start off my page with a fic to get it going and I hoped you all enjoyed it! I swear I will try and improve on my writing, I don’t know what I think about it but either way, when I first started this fic, I had no idea where it was heading, and I really didn’t know it was going to end like that. Sorry to all of the Scott fans out there, didn’t mean to make it like that but it just happened, same with Stiles!

“Mm, you’re leaving already?”

“Yes, they called me in. I can’t disobey the Alpha.”

The body on the bed moved slightly causing the sheets to rustle. “It’s four in the morning. What could he possibly need from you that can’t wait till a reasonable time?”

“Who knows, either way, he wants me to see him and I’m going to have to see him.” The figure standing move closer to the person on the bed. Bending down, the standing figure kissed the other on the forehead before backing up and making his way to the bedroom door.

“You need to be careful, okay?”

“I’m always careful.” A hint of a smirk came from the standing figure.

“I’m serious, Peter. Be careful.”

The male standing, now known as Peter, turned his body until he was facing the laying body. Well, no longer laying, the figure on the bed was now sat up against the headboards.

“I will, sweetheart. Don’t worry.”

After that, Peter walked out of the bedroom and down the stairs until he reached the entrance of the house. With a roll of his neck, he walked out of the building and towards his car, ready to make his way to his nephew’s loft.

“You better be.” Was the last thing Peter heard from his significant other before he climbed into his vehicle and backed out of his driveway.

“What is so important that you had to call me out of bed, dear nephew?” Left Peter’s lips once he stepped into the loft. Everyone was there, except for Stiles, lord knows where Stiles is. Probably sleeping.

Derek scowled from where he sat, eyes glaring at Peter. “You’re late.”

Rolling his eyes, Peter walked down the steps, making his way to an empty sitting space. “I am not late, and you haven’t answered my question.”

“He called a meeting because Stiles has been kidnapped.” Filled the silence, coming from a space a few seats down from the older man. Turning his head, Peter instantly recognized the red fiery hair, Ms. Lydia Martin.

“Repeat that for me again.” Eyes going cold as he looked at everyone sitting in the loft, his hearing must be going because he did not just hear that Stiles was kidnapped.

“You heard what she said, Peter. She doesn’t need to repeat it and we need your help.” Derek replied, stopping Lydia from speaking.

“Then I’m sure she can repeat what she said, to me.” Rang through the loft, silencing everyone and causing them to turn their heads to the loft door. There, standing there with an angry expression, looking ready to rip someone apart if they spoke, stood Stiles Stilinski’s older brother. Matthew Stilinski.

Everyone sat there, staring at the male figure storming down the stairs looking ready to kill. However, they did come out of it as soon as they watched Peter walk up to the man, eyebrows drawn tight and a frown set on his lips.

“What are you doing here? You should be at home, sleeping.” Whispered Peter, eyes roaming the other males face as he spoke. Whispers began to fill up the quiet loft, something Peter chose to ignore whilst waiting for his lovers response.

“I felt pains in my chest; I knew it wasn’t you because you had just left,” Matthew began to explain, his voice serious while his eyes showed his worry. “I rang my dad next, he sounded fine and when I rang Stiles, he didn’t answer. To me, that’s very strange.”

As Matthew stood there, explaining why he was at the loft, it was silent again. Everyone seemingly interested as to why the older Stilinski was in the loft and why Peter’s so close to him. Their conversation was soon interrupted by a someone clearing their throat, with a look that said, ‘we’re carrying this conversation later’. Peter turned around to face his nephew once again, a feral grin on his lips before they parted to let the words out.

“What’s the plan?”

Before Derek could even open his mouth to respond to his uncle, Scott spoke instead, causing Derek to lean back into his chair, glaring at the crocked jawed teen.

“Are you really going to let him be here and listen to what we’re going to say.”

Peter scoffed at what the teen said, choosing to ignore it as he stood by his lover’s side, everyone else, on the other hand, was staring at him. Some with one of their eyebrows lifted in question. With everyone being silent, Matthew thought he should be the person to answer the question his younger brother’s best friend, ‘ex-best friend more like.’ Ran through his head before he spoke.

“Yes, you are. If you try and remove me from this meeting, I will then make it my personal mission to make your life a living hell.” Matthew growled out as he glared at the tanned teen, eyes boring into his soul before changing his focus to Derek.

Shrugging his shoulders, Derek began the meeting, telling each member all of the information that they needed to know as well as suggesting a plan of attack. Some protested, others agreed, therefore they all agreed to change some aspects of the plan. With the final plan of attack in place, they all set out to rescue a member of their pack, determination etched onto their faces.

They all stumbled into the loft, cuts, and bruises prominent on their skin. Shuffling into the room, the pack members all stumbled their way to a seat, releasing a sigh once they sat down. They all started to drift off into a deep slumber, only to be startled when the loft door slammed shut. Peter supporting Stiles to an empty space on the sofa and Matthew walking behind them with the scent of anger, pain and disgust coming from him. It didn’t help that when Matthew was angry, it was calm anger, the type of anger that scared everyone the most.

“Why, pray tell were there hunters in Beacon Hills? Stiles told me that there were dealt with.” Matthew growled to everyone in the room, a storm in his eyes as he eyed everyone in the room, not carrying that they are exhausted.

“That,” arm lifted and finger point at the sliding door, “that did not, and I mean did not look as if it was dealt with. They should have been killed.” His dark eyes landed on to the Alpha of the pack, Scott McCall, waiting for his excuse to tumble out of his mouth.

“We don’t kill, Matt. We’re not the type of people to kill.” There it was, the same sentence he’s been sprouting out to everyone to the point that his own brother, his best friend, was hurt.

“You may not be but everyone else in this room is. They know what’s good for the pack, not getting rid of your enemies will cause this pack to be dead in a fucking week.”

“Killing is wrong, Matt. You have to unde–“

“Oh, I do, but you don’t care if someone else does your dirty work, right?” The older Stilinski sneered, leaving Scott to stammer whilst Matthew continued to speak, his voice carrying over his. “Working with the enemy, using your pack members until you get what you want and let us not forget too busy thinking with your dick instead of looking around you!”

“This isn’t a game, McCall. If you don’t get your head out of your fucking ass, I will take my brother away from this hostile pack.” Once that was finished, Scott and everyone else bar Peter and Stiles, started whining and protesting.

“I don’t care for your petty excuses anymore, Scott. My baby brother was kidnapped tonight, and you didn’t notice until you messaged him because Allison was too busy doing other things to suck your dick.”

Looking around the room once more, Matthew’s dark eyes drank in everyone’s expression before he turned and walked to the sofa Peter and Stiles was on, determined to head home. Picking up his brother, bridal style, the adult began to make his way to the entrance, his lover not far behind him. He came to a stop once he reached the top step, voice cold but stern.

“If you don’t sort your world view out and think of your pack instead of your dick and your murderous girlfriend, I will be taking your pack members and make them mine.”

That caused Scott to growl loudly, red tinting his eyes as he stared at the back of the Stilinski. Leading Peter to turn around and flash his ice blue eyes to the teen, his lips shaped into a snarl.

“You are not fit to be an Alpha, but I suppose children shouldn’t be dealing with adult cards.” With that, Matthew used his magic to open the door and walked out, heading straight towards the elevator. When it opened, he stepped inside, turning around to face the pack, now standing around in the loft with a lost expression on their faces.

Unsympathetic eyes stared at them until the elevator doors closed, cutting their contact with the two Stilinski’s.

“Well that was eventful but as you know, I need to get going as you made my mate unhappy. I’ll have to deal with it.” Turning his eyes to crocked jawed teen, Peter gave him a disappointed look, laced with regret.

“I wished I never turned you.”

Spinning in his spot, the oldest Hale walked out of the loft. No longer wanting to concern himself with such a pathetic pack.

A few hours had passed since the whole ordeal that happened at the loft. Matthew finally went to sleep, after much pestering from Peter, now it was only Peter awake. He was ready to take care of his lover’s little brother once he wakes. He was busy in his thoughts that he didn’t notice the figure lying on the sofa began to move around and then with a fluttering of lashes, amber eyes opened to the world. A jostle at his side, however, caused Peter to come out of his trance and peer down at the younger male, a soft smile on his lips.

“How are you doing, little red?” voice soft with a hint of worry and concern laced in.

Shifting ever so lightly, Stiles sat on the sofa, warm and cozy while looking up at Peter. “Good, it doesn’t hurt anymore. You wouldn’t be using your werewolf mojo, would you?” The teen’s voice barely a whisper, Peter was lucky that he was a werewolf or else he wouldn’t have heard the poor boy.

“No, it was your brother instead. He worked his “mojo” to heal you and get rid of the pain.” His fingers wiggling when saying the word mojo, the smile never leaving his lips.

“Do you want something to drink?”

A nod was all he needed before he stood up to retrieve a glass of water for the boy, he made sure to listen to Stiles, just in case something happens, and he gets hurt again. To be fair, the boy is quite clumsy.

Walking back into the living room, he gave Stiles the glass of water, instructing him to drink it slowly before suggesting that he sleeps in the guest room tonight. Peter had already called the Sheriff to tell him what happened and that Stiles shouldn’t be at home by himself right now, the Sheriff agreed before informing Peter to keep him updated.

That was the end of the conversation. Short but not threatening, which was good.

It took a few minutes, but the older man was able to change Stiles in his brother’s sleeping clothes and laid him on the bed, telling him that if he needed anything, he can either call him or Matthew. With that done, Peter went back to his room, and the first thing he noticed was that his mate was awake.

Walking towards Matthew’s side of the bed, he lent down and kissed his forehead before heading into the ensuite bathroom for a shower. When he came back out, dressed in his sleeping pants, he walked to his bed and got settled, pulling the other male close to his chest so that they were spooning.

Nuzzling his nose at the back of the younger males neck. The older male let out a content sigh before replying. “I did though, he’s family, after all, sweetheart.”

Comfortable silence soon filled the room, enough to cause Peter to drift off to sleep. However, he didn’t have the luxury because it was interrupted by the words coming out of the other male’s mouth. “You didn’t need to do that.”

That was all that needed to be said because Matthew pulled one of Peter hands to his lips and kissed before snuggling back into the man. Both content as they both fell asleep.

Update on Wait, Who's Back?

Right, I'm currently typing out the chapter and let me tell you guys. I think it's going to be a long chapter. And I still have a lot of bullet points to cover in this second chapter.

Here is a picture of the bullet points that I still need to do. One's that are highlighted in yellows means that I've finished it. Sorry if it's really blurry, I made it like that so you guys don't get spoilers.

ON THE THEORY OF ELI BEING CREATED BY THE NEMETON:

This is something that I've been sitting here thinking about for the past couple weeks and I just saw a piece of fanart last night that made me think about it even more, because honestly, the idea that Eli was created by the Nemeton is such a cool idea and it fits with the canon.

So, I don't even care that Jeff Davis is an idiot and was probably too stupid to think of this idea. I feel like I'm in the mood to write some meta after years and years of not writing meta.

Let's talk about it anyways.

We know that the Nemeton was functional during the 1940's before the Nogitsune came into power. And then, sometime after the Nogitsune's first run wild through Beacon Hills, somebody cut it down and essentially rendered it completely powerless.

Now, it stayed powerless for decades UNTIL that one night in the root cellar with Derek and Paige. When Derek killed Paige, he unknowingly committed a virgin sacrifice and sparked the Nemeton back to life. Albeit, the nemeton remained in a weakened state, as it was not back to full power and not working as a beacon to draw in supernatural creatures.

Cut to a few years later, what happens next?

The parents of the teen wolf trio get kidnapped by Jennifer so that she can complete her "three-fold death" sacrifice by killing three guardians. However, she never gets to complete the ritual because Stiles, Allison, and Scott sacrifice themselves in their parents place as surrogates.

Now, the sacrifice that Stiles, Allison, and Scott make was the surrogate sacrifice ritual that Deaton knew how to perform. It put darkness around their hearts and gave them the ability to locate the Nemeton. But that was it, right?

It didn't also act as another virgin sacrifice, right?

Scott? Not a virgin.

Allison? Not a virgin.

Stiles? Not a vir—OH WAIT.

Stiles.

Unintentionally committing a virgin sacrifice by sacrificing himself and giving another spark of power to the Nemeton. And this time, it bumps the nemeton back up to full power after Derek had previously sparked it back to life.

Now, you might be saying:

"But what about Jennifer? She committed virgin sacrifices, too!"

She did. But not to the Nemeton. She was a druid emissary long before the Nemeton was brought back to life. And druids have the ability to perform rituals to basically earn themselves more powers. Those virgin sacrifices that she did in the first few episodes of 3A went straight to herself, not to the Nemeton.

Which means the next virgin sacrifice in the queue was the one that Stiles made by drowning himself, not knowing that he was technically committing two different sacrifices that night.

Derek commits a virgin sacrifice. Then Stiles commits a virgin sacrifice (albeit by sacrificing himself instead of another person). Two consecutive virgin sacrifices by Derek and Stiles, separated by years, and both totally unintentional. And yet both sacrifices powered back up the dead Nemeton.

We know the Nemeton is at least somewhat sentient as it can pick and choose who to let get close to it in the woods. So, who's to say that the Nemeton doesn't hold Derek and Stiles in high regard for bringing it back to life? Who's to say that the Nemeton isn't thankful?

Hmm?

Perhaps, even thankful enough to give Derek and Stiles the ultimate gift in its gratitude? The gift of a son? The gift of a son, born from the Nemeton?

Even Eli seems to have some random, totally strange connection to the Nemeton without really having an explanation for it. He just randomly sleepwalks in the middle of the night and ends up at the Nemeton.

Why?

Now, you could argue that Eli has been sleepwalking out to the Nemeton because of the whole Allison situation in the movie. But what sense does that make? Eli doesn't know Allison Argent. He never did. She was dead before he was even born.

But if we're getting meta in here, Eli just so happens to be 15 years old (the same age Derek was when he sacrificed Paige in the root cellar and woke the Nemeton up). Maybe the Nemeton thinks 15 is the perfect age to start dropping hints to Eli.

In my mind, Deaton was called out to the Nemeton in the middle of the night and found little Eli as a newborn in a little wicker basket made from Nemeton branches and soft leaves, just sitting there asleep in the middle of the Nemeton stump.

And Deaton, being a druid and the old Hale family emissary, knew exactly what the Nemeton was offering and why it was offering it. So, he dropped Eli in his basket onto Derek's doorstep, knocked real loud, and watched as Derek adopted the boy—totally unaware that Eli is 50/50 both his and Stiles'.

But that conversation comes much later.

So, there you have it.

Eli Stilinski-Hale. The son of the Nemeton. The son of Derek Hale and Stiles Stilinski.

Everyone on here talking about Stiles mpreg but let's think this through. What makes more sense, that Stiles carried Derek's baby to term and left forever? Or that Stiles knocked Derek up unknowingly on their single hookup where they both got so awkward afterward not able to express their feelings that he left for 15 years to avoid it and Derek was too self sacrificing to tell Stiles and became a single dad? And Derek, Mr. Strange werewolf biology who aside from general werewolf shit like aging differently and shifting, can also fully turn his body into an actual wolf. Now who is more likely to have this baby? A seemingly cis male human like Stiles? Or Werewolf Derek with his already strange werewolf biology?

what scott did to derek in the season 2 finale wasn’t a violation, it was poetic justice and derek’s well deserved comeuppance for being an inhuman, incompetent flop as a an alpha, werewolf and person. derek knew he deserved it, that’s why he accepted it and never held it against scott. not to mention that by inconveniencing derek for a few seconds, scott single-handedly defeated gerard and the kanima and saved derek’s and everyone’s life at the warehouse. plus, he made derek a better person

Look. I know you like Scott. But I need you to understand that what you’re saying is not only factually incorrect, but the implications of it are really hurtful.

Scott suffered a lot because he was bitten without being given a choice. Peter attacked him and turned him into something he never wanted to be. That is horrible for him, and I feel for him. What frustrates me so much is that he had his autonomy taken away from him, he suffered a huge injustice, and instead of protecting other people’s rights to choose, he decided to take away their choice the same way it was done to him. He shamed and insulted Erica and Boyd for their decisions to take the bite, completely negating their abilities to make their own choices. Derek didn’t attack them. He told them the risks, he explained what the bite was and what he expected back from them if he gave it to them. They asked for the bite. That was their choice, not Scott’s.

First off, Derek did not deserve what happened to him. A rape survivor who lost his entire family in a brutal fire that his rapist set and had his big sister murdered by his own uncle, did not deserve to have his body used without his consent to give what he considered a gift to the father of the woman who assaulted him, and it in no way made him a ‘better person.’ No. You need to be more careful about the things you say, because sexual assault survivors shouldn’t have to read horrible things like what you just typed out and sent to me. I should not have to read it.

Second, Scott’s motivation behind what he did was not justice. It was pride, a disregard for Derek’s bodily autonomy, and maybe even an actual urge to help with the Gerard situation. You could even add revenge to the list, since Gerard threatened Scott’s mom. And I have to point out, if Scott is really the amazing person that you’re claiming he is, then ‘poetic justice’ should never be something he is aiming for. Good people don’t do the thing that is the most ‘poetic.’ If Scott were as empathetic and kind as people claim he is or the show tries to tell us he is, he never would have done that to Derek, no matter how much he disliked him. There was no reason why he couldn’t have told Derek what he had planned and gotten Derek’s permission to do what he did. Scott kept the secret from him because he felt like he had the right to make decisions about Derek’s body without Derek’s consent. He did it because he wanted to be the one with the secrets for once. He outright admits that he kept the secret “Because you may be an Alpha, but you’re not mine.” He wanted to prove that Derek couldn’t control him, by hurting Derek and forcing him to give what Derek considered the greatest gift a werewolf could bestow, to the father of the woman who murdered Derek’s family. That is cowardly, childish, and apathetic, and it directly contradicts the idea that Scott is in any way True Alpha material.

Third, nothing he did was single-handed, because Derek isn’t an inanimate object or a tool. He’s a person, and without him, Scott’s plan wouldn’t have happened. Without Deaton, Scott’s plan wouldn’t have happened. Scott did not act alone.

Fourth, Derek didn’t accept what Scott did, and he did hold it against him. He felt so unsafe with Scott that he didn’t even tell him about the Alphas over the summer, didn’t ask for his help to find his Betas, because he didn’t think Scott could be trusted. Scott had already sold him out once and Derek had every right to believe Scott would do it again. (Which he then did at the end of S3A when he went to join Deucalion and left Derek unconscious in an elevator, in a hospital about to be swarmed with cops.)

Fifth, everything you are angry with Derek for, Scott did as well. So if you’re saying that Derek is ‘inhuman’ and a failure of an Alpha/werewolf/person, then you must be saying the same thing about Scott. Yes, Derek threw his Betas around and injured Isaac. Scott also threw Isaac into a wall twice (without even the pretense of training him) and dug his claws into Liam’s (I think it was him) neck without his permission. Yes, Derek chained his Betas up on the full moon. Scott abducted Liam and duct-taped him to his bathtub without explaining anything he’d done to him, and I’m pretty sure (though I don’t remember it well) that he was involved in Liam getting chained to a tree at one point. Yes, Derek kept secrets from his pack under the pretense of ‘protecting’ them. Scott also kept the truth about how Allison’s mom was bitten from her, letting her believe for months that Derek brutally attacked her mother for no reason, and lied to Kira about her losing control of her kitsune (though I also don’t remember a lot of that plotline). He also lied to Stiles about whether Lydia liked him, after making out with Lydia (who currently had a boyfriend) in the coach’s office, which is just a dick move, whether it was the full moon or not. Derek told Erica to seduce either Scott or Stiles? Scott told Allison to go on a date with Matt and KISS HIM. Derek scared Isaac away by shouting at him? Scott shouted at Allison for doing something she’d already told him she was going to do, and for telling her parents something she’d already warned him she was going to tell them, and told her to stay away from him. Derek shoved Scott against a wall? Scott shoved Stiles against a wall on his first moon! Oh, Scott was scared/frustrated/having trouble with control? Well, Derek’s sister had just died and Scott was about to expose the entire supernatural secret to a lacrosse field full of people.

Sixth, Scott didn’t defeat Gerard or the Kanima, and he definitely didn’t save the warehouse full of people. Gerard wasn’t dead after getting the bite from Derek. He had enough energy left to tell the Kanima to kill everyone in the room, and escape while no one was looking. The Kanima wasn’t defeated by Scott, it had Allison by the fucking throat and it only backed off when Stiles hit it with his goddamn Jeep and Lydia came out to face Jackson. Scott had nothing to do with that. Lydia is technically the one who saved everyone in the warehouse, and Stiles was her ride. Scott’s contribution was negligible. It was a time waster. He could have accomplished the exact same thing by just standing there and talking to Gerard until Stiles showed up with Lydia.

Seventh, Scott’s behavior was indeed a violation. And I don’t just mean the bite he forced Derek to give Gerard. He didn’t just get revenge on the guy who’d been rude to him and arguing with him for the last few months. He lied to Derek, over and over (while also avoiding ever technically lying, in much the same way Deaton often does, to avoid being caught out by his heartbeat). He learned Derek’s plans and where Derek was hiding, insinuated that he wanted to be part of Derek’s pack (knowing how important pack was to Derek), and outright yelled at Derek for supposedly keeping something from him (Which he wasn’t. Derek canonically wasn’t holding back any secrets from Scott at the time, unless you count the fact that Peter was alive, which Derek had every right to assume Deaton had already told him) all while he was the one working for Gerard. (That is literally gaslighting. Like, literally.) He exposed Derek and his pack to Gerard, feeding him information on the same kids that he insisted were ‘his responsibility’ that probably helped Gerard get ahold of Erica and Boyd to torture them. It was a violation of Derek’s consent. A violation of Derek’s trust, of Erica and Boyd and Isaac’s trust. And a violation of Stiles’ trust as well, since Stiles had no clue what Scott was doing.

You came to my ask box after seeing the various posts that I’ve made, with documented moments from the show and well reasoned arguments and frustrations with Scott McCall’s character. Are you seriously telling me you didn’t think I’d have a comeback?

I’m so baffled by authors who accidentally write the most compelling queer ships of all time, and then become angry when fans acknowledge that the characters are in fact queer.

I was finally able to spend some real time on art this week. ♥ 

Due to low quality Pink Undies Sunday art, I decided to try chibi's....I'm better at chibi's when my art hand is in this mood...I just forgot that this morning...My apologies.
