šDeath Before Inaction is literally one of the best Peter Parker fics I've ever read, if you want skewed dynamics, no slash, an OP Peter, and really good story telling this is for you.
The Anomaly is an amazing Into the Spiderverse fic that really goes into Miles character and how giving up; doing everything in your power to prevent something and then it happens anyways, can destroy you and change your perspective. And on the other side how choices can make you regret them.
Bound by a Promise to the Moon is an Avengers work that is focused on characters and relationships between people who have drifted apart. It is IronStrange but nothing in your face for the most part š you can skip those parts if you don't like itš. It really is worth the read though.
Gaming Spider is a MCU fic that is Peter-centric but be warned because they dropped 8 chapters on the same day in 2022 and haven't updated since. It's so entertaining because Peter just has the Gamer Power (basically Litrpg elements) and grows increasingly stronger after every encounter, and the plot makes sense and isn't only based on the system.
All of the heroes and all of the men, couldnāt save Tommy from getting kidnapped again is such a bias rec on my part, I like crossovers that are done correctly and I was a mcyt and dsmp follower (not really watcher, I can't commit to anything) and this is a story changed by the characters, where the original plot is nothing but a memory to help character development. God I love character development.
šParallax is a BNHA fic that is SI and I KNOW BUT HERE ME OUT is basically like if Todoroki was haunted by a physics loving astronomer that made him feel more like someone else, but still kept a lot of what makes him, him. It's so good, like touched me so deeply that I have a hard time explaining it.
A Study In Deceit is a BNHA fic (I know) that is SO FUNNY, basically Bakugou is BBC's Sherlock, but has hid it for all his life, he does cases on the side and turns them in anonymously to the police. It's really good if you're looking for Todoroki and Bakugou friendship.
Foresight now this, this is crack. Want a BNHA fic that speeds through the story in ways that are so funny? Want someone doing something without a clue why? READ THIS. If you know the plot of BNHA it's sometimes easy to guess why he's doing what he's doing but the reactions of other characters is sooo good.
RONIN, ronin, ronin, ronin. This thing is the best ever, BNHA, op Midoriya but now you might be scrolling past, but... It's SO GOOD, BOHB_STEVENS IS A GENIUS this fic was made to practice fighting and ohhhhh did they get plently of practice. If you like fighting scenes that are descriptive, easy to understand, and EXHILARATING read this.
Magneto is an amazingly different BNHA SI fic, where really the story stays the same but I'm a simple person and slice of life interactions can be just as fun as fighting and complicated story telling (the storytelling is good btw) . I think I you want a little angst mixed with mostly good times and crack you should read this.
Pinwheel Eyes is a BNHA if Midoriya had a quirk. But once again the story is original they aren't afraid to make unpopular decisions to keep realism, and he has to win to keep people alive, not just have plot armor. I think if you want amazing fights and to be surprised over and over with how good this is you should read it
šA Massacre of One is a BNHA/Worm crossover that is something out of a dream for me. Super long, well written, fight scenes, character development, and well done implementation of other stories elements. With quirks it makes it easy, but still the reactions of others when they figured out what happened is AHHH and the way they make them go through the story is amazing too. Big props to the writer.
Si Vis Pacem is a BNHA/John Wick fic where John Wick (would it be SI?) is reincarnated into Midoriya, and it's pretty good, ngl it updates like 3 times a year so it's been a minute since I've read it, but I remember really liking it.
Be Careful What You Ask Your God is a BNHA and Chainsaw Man crossover where once again (I know I said it wasn't the norm) the characters are the story, here they took a different approach and didn't even focus on the main characters of BNHA and just how the mc's of chainsaw man would live in that world, but the LORE (matpatš) is interesting.
Porcupine Quills & Potion Spills A Harry Potter (Snape-centric) work. This fic is pretty good, but it's not TOP top tier. The reason it's here is because I've been looking for another fic that has this same idea but none have done it this certain way and I really like the idea. Now it is on Hiatus but its only been a few months, so they'll probably be back (man I hope so).
A Wand for Skitter is a Harry Potter and Worm crossover (if you haven't read worm and appreciate modern sci-fi/eldritch original works you should read it) but the characters are amazing, nothing seems cheap and the ending, THE ENDING it was so good.
I really didn't mean to hurt anyone is a Stranger Things story that had Steve as Seven. The choices with the way the story is going makes sense and again the characters are so well written. His powers are original and make the story even better and even gets him into some unsavory situations.

Ball Is Life, But You Still Need To Pay Rent before anything, this work is on hiatus (it hasn't updated since 2022) it's a Kuroko's Basketball fic that is a SI but omg this si is not a John Doe he is so out of pocket I'm not gonna spoil it a lot but if you like the anime you should read this you'll have fun.
The Chronicles of Tanya the Fuehrer is another Tanya fic where it's after the war ends, the beginning is amazing, she does get a bit ooc in some parts but other than that the story itself is so entertaining and how they describe things and paint a picture is so beautiful.
A Young Girl's Guerrilla War is a Code Geass and The Saga of Tanya the Evil crossover. It's if Tanya died and was reincarnated again into code geass (another war so on brand) it's something special because it feels like an AU, which so many crossovers can't accomplish, they just follow the plot of the story with new characters without changing the world based on their characters actions. This story is Amazing and something that should become a norm within the trope.

Weapon Reforged is something everyone should experience even if they don't know the fandom (I'm not even gonna say it but don't be pushed off once you see it because the story is original and uses characters simple traits to build new ones off of) it's an amazing work of art that is near and dear to me in a big way, it hasnt updated since 2021 but you have to, HAVE TO read this.

A Child's Dream is a Blue Lock fic that is the only reasonabley lengthed fic that isn't slash that I have found. Theres a lot of simping for Isagi but that's normal enough. The development is interesting and keeps you engaged and the interactions are funny and so out of left pocket most of the time.
Déjà Vu is a Blue Lock fic that is probably abandoned, but the idea and execution make up for it, it's also short so don't worry about slogging through 100,000 words then figuring out it's abandoned. It's kind of crack-like but more serious than you would expect.
(pockets full of) Stones is a Miraculous Ladybug one shot that is somewhat tear inducing and very realistic. Want a AroAce Adrien Agreste? READ THIS
(Note: Although I donāt like Sylki, I donāt have a problem with anyone who ships them.) Warning: Internalized Homophobia Mention
Two weeks ago, I binged the Loki series. To put it shortly, I loved it! Loki has one of the best character development Iāve ever seen. He moved past his insecurities and realized what he truly wanted- to be loved and seen. The time aspect was easy to digest and didnāt complicate or overinflate the concept too much. I loved the new characters, especially Mobius and O.B. Mobius and Lokiās chemistry was amazing and so natural, which makes sense since Mobius was his first friend. O.B. was lovable and so nerdy. I hope they both return to future projects. Though I didnāt connect with her as much, B-15 was a good addition, and would be happy to see her return. When it comes to Sylvie, I'm mixed with her. Sheās well-written for the most part, but I didnāt like the Sylki romance in S1, and her attitude got irritating in S2 (I'll most likely write a separate post on it). Alongside thinking Loki being attracted to a version of himself is weird, their romance felt rushed and unnatural. I couldnāt really see Loki being attracted to/like/in love with someone that quickly and Sylvie looked like she barely tolerated him, even in the second season. Honestly, I think this romance was pushed by Disney instead of the writers, mainly because there was a moment in Episode 4 where Mobius rants about how strange the attraction was. Iād like to think that was the writers calling out Disney for how weird this idea was. I wouldāve liked it more if Loki and Sylvie had a sibling-like relationship. I wouldāve written it where Loki feels protective of Sylvie because he sees a bit of himself in her such as his anger, loneliness, and wish to belong somewhere. But, he also respects her because she lived alone and in survival mode, teaching herself how to use magic and escape death. In turn, Sylvie sort of resents Loki, especially when he mentions his relationship with Frigga, since he lived in Asgard and had a family while she lived alone and in fear. I would have a scene where Sylvie lashes out at him (maybe when he accidentally breaks the Tempad), calling him a fool for taking his familyās love for granted. On the other hand, Loki snapped and said how she had the chance to be her true self while Loki lived under Thorās shadow and Asgardās expectations. Maybe go as far as to mention how he felt he had to hide his bisexuality and genderfluidity out of fear of not being accepted. By the end of the argument, both realize how their pain does not absolve others and that there is good and bad in their lives. Other than the kiss scene, the scene with Loki trying to stop Sylvie from killing He Who Remains was great.Ā
I was so glad S2 left the ship behind. It was one of the reasons why I think S2 is a big improvement. I canāt really describe their relationship since there are moments when they get along but there are others when Sylvie is really standoffish and doesn't seem to like Loki. Maybe the closest description would be bickering siblings, which is close to what I wanted.
Did anyone else get nervous that there would be a Sylki kiss in the S2 finale? I was, especially when he was trying to stop her from killing HWR again. If they did, it would've messed with my enjoyment since there was no indication in previous episodes that they were continuing the romance. Thankfully, they didn't and the finale was perfect, even if it broke my heart that Loki will live alone for as long as he's alive. I wanted him to be happy with everyone.
After seeing how much Loki's grown in his series, I really hope we see him return to the movie series. He doesn't have to be the main focus for a whole film, but a few scenes where he's important would be good.
Maybe, there can be a movie where Loki and Thor reunite. From what I remember, the original Loki (the one killed by Thanos) and Thor didn't outright say they loved each other. Of course, you can still express love without saying it but, after seeing them fight for years and resolving it right before Loki's death, seeing them say that they love each other.
I imagine that they see each other, and freeze (Thor because of shock and Loki feeling nervous about what to say), but Thor immediately snaps out of it, runs towards Loki, and bear hugs him. Though shocked, Loki hugs him back, and the brothers start crying. Loki starts apologizing for all the pain heās caused Thor, to which the latter responds, āIāve already forgiven you, brother. I missed you so much.ā Loki smiles and says, āI missed you too brother.āĀ
Later on, when he has to return to the TVA, Loki and Thor say their goodbyes. Thor tells him that heās proud of how much heās changed and is happy he has friends there for him. In turn, Loki tells Thor that heās proud of him too and jokes about how they are no longer the arrogant fools they used to be. They wish each other happy lives and say, āI love you.ā Then it flashes back to them playing as children and being happy.Ā
I think this would be a very sweet way for Thor to move on from the pain of losing Loki. I wish it was acknowledged more in Endgame and Love & Thunder, but his depression was mostly played for laughs instead of developed into a full character arc. It also gives Loki the chance to apologize for some of his mistakes and have a nice reunion with Thor, unlike in his timeline where he was still a villain and Thor disliked him. Ā
Yāknow Wanda and Vision remind me of a better written April and Donnie.Ā
Donnie (Vision) are intelligent and polite guys who are learning how to love, while April (Wanda) are red-headed and powerful women who were experimented on. It would be so cool to find fanart of April and Donnie dressed as Vision and Wanda or maybe a Marvel AU with them. If I could imagine adult April x Donnie, I think they would be like the MCU couple.Ā
Does anyone else think Aprilās power and backstory is similar to Scarlet Witchās as much as Jean Greyās. All three are powerful superhumans and were controlled by an evil force. Their main powers are focused on the mind and levitation. I need fanart of her as Jean Grey and Scarlet Witch, I would do it myself but I canāt draw.
Iāve been wanting to write about Marvel for a while and I think this a great start. I love Loki as a character and Iāve been wanting to discuss the most popular ships with- Loki x Sylvie and Loki x Mobius.
Personally, I donāt ship Loki and Sylvie together. I know they are technically not the same person, but itās still weird for me. I donāt dislike it enough to boycott the show or stop watching it, though I would prefer them to be friends.
I see Lokiās interaction with Sylvie as a way to reflect on himself and his actions. Kind of like looking in a mirror. Loki and Sylvie can benefit from each other in a way they can recognize their detrimental flaws and work to be a better person as friends.
Iām not a Loki x Mobius fanatic, yet I still think they could be a good couple. Their chemistry is nice and they can benefit from each other. Plus, we can finally get some same-sex representation in Marvel. I might get fully on board when they have more time together.
What do you guys think? šš
Mine: Rise Donnieās favorite Avenger is Iron Man/Tony Stark.
Donnie would love him since 1. He is intelligent, 2. Has a really cool lab, 3. Is majorly sassy, and 4. They have robot assistants. Jarvis and S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N respectively.
Thatās kind of all I have to say.
If you disagree, what do you think his favorite would be? šš
So. How yāall doing?
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA WE DESERVED ALPINE IN TFATWS MAN THE FUCK UP SEBASTIAN TAKE AN ALLEGRA AND BUST THAT PUSSYĀ OUT
Bad night?... Alpine to the rescue! :)
Ok Iām not usually that active in the avengers fandom but I just heard that Marvel wanted Hailee Steinfeld to be Kate Bishop and like????? as the biggest goddamn archery lesbian on the face of this earth I think I may combust??? She is like 82% of the reason I am gay and itās showing.
All the serum really did was upgrade Steve from a twink into a twunk and yāall know that shit hit Bucky like an oncoming train.
can we talk about sam's knife skills yet? I would love to get more sam and knife action.
I want you guys to really THINK and COMPREHEND that sam wilson, with nothing but civilian clothes and a knife on his person, went into a fight with hydra goons and came out with a gun.
THIS BITCH, literally went into a gun fight with a knife and came out with a gun. Just think about that for a while.
guys do we need to have the "sam wilson is not [insert romantic interest]'s therapist" talk again š? Because I'm seeing many fics about sam comforting bucky but almost none the other way around. Especially with karli literally dying in his arms yall the opportunities are there you just don't want to take them atp š (btw if anyone could reccomend some authors that write sam being taken care of that would be much appreciated)
i just saw a post that reminded me of this but, bucky is a terrible liar. Like seriously. It's awful.
Here are some things i've noticed he does when he's lying.
- inflation in tone (he emphasizes words that Do Not need to be emphasized)
- wide eyes and nodding?? (almost as if he's trying to be sarcastic)
- he avoids the question or topic completely (aka, deflecting)
and that's all but yeah...hes a terrible liar
ādo you ever pay attention to the storyline, or are you just here to simp?ā god forbid a girl has a hobby/j
Loki Series relationships be like
theyāre besties theyāre worsties their relationship is undefinable theyāre coworkers theyāre lying to each other theyāre gay in love they have 1038430 mental illnesses and are banned from most timelines
Weāve all been wearing masks for the last few years to prevent the spread of covid-19 and still could recognize each other, or at least the people that we saw daily, and yet no one has addressed superhero masks that cover like their eyebrows and the bridge of their nose. By those half mask standards, I have a secret identity too. We all do. Except the Karens who wouldnāt wear masks. Theyāre the villains who want attention from the media. #artimitateslife #andlifeimitatesart
But like seriously, superhero masks are something we should just call plot holes by 2020 after the coronavirus mask mandates. Just think about the whole love square in Miraculous Ladybug. Listen, Marinette, if I can recognize my crush when the bottom half of their face is covered then you should be able to recognize Adrien in what is essentially a pair of sunglasses. Guess you havenāt longingly stared into his eyes as much as the show would have us believe.
Thereās also Steve not recognizing Bucky on the bridge before his muzzle fell off (though I will give him a break because his bf HAD been dead for over seventy years to his knowledge) so from now on I will be imagining that the Russos just forgot to show us Steveās inner monologue of āisnāt that Bucky?? No Bucky is dead :( wait but what if it is Bucky?? I mean Coulson came back. And Loki. Loki has come back many times. Wait okay no I think Iād recognize that icey blue glare from decades away, thatās the Bucky look for āSteve I told you not to do the thing why did you do the thing Iām gonna kill youā except this time heās actually trying to kill me,,,, oh is hIS MASK FALLING OFF oh is that his mask there on the ground oH I KNEW IT WAS āBucky??ā
And I know people have talked about why it actually would make sense that the lack of glasses would make it hard for the world to know that Superman is Clark Kent but Iām gonna bring this one up anyways because guys we can all recognize one of our coworkers without their glasses on there is NO WAY that Lois Lane a woman whoās PROFESSION is deduction of events which she then reports to the general public cannot recognize her coworker in a costume. If you saw the lady who works at the front desk in a cheerleader outfit youād still know it was her, but Lois canāt for some reason do the same with Clark?? She does her journalism all day with her right hand man Clark by her side RIGHT UP UNTIL she reports on Superman (which she does quite often, might I add) who is just Clark in spandex and No Glassesā¢ļø and youāre telling me that this lady has no idea theyāre the same person??? She works with one of them all day and then is gazing at reporting on the other one the rest of the time and has no idea??? Also I get that Clark is the alias and heās actually Superman the man from Krypton which is why he makes less effort to conceal his face as Superman because thatās him and Clark covers up with glasses because itās a clever plot device to show which one is his true self, but can we talk about how he MAKES LESS EFFORT TO CONCEAL HIMSELF AS SUPERMAN AND YET ALL THE PEOPLE HE KNOWS AS CLARK STILL DO NOT KNOW HE IS SUPERMAN???
IāM OFFICIALLY COMING FOR ALL COMIC BOOK ARTISTS, DIRECTORS, ANIMATORS, AND PRODUCERS WHO DONāT COVER THEIR CHARACTERS ENTIRE FACE AND PRETEND THEIR IDENTITY IS STILL IN TACT. IF THE PANDEMIC HAS PROVEN ONE THING ITS THAT IF YOU KNOW A FACE YOU KNOW THAT FACE AND HALF A MASK DOES NOT CHANGE THAT SEND TWEET
No Way Home screening was cancelled due to sound issues and saw this in the lobbyĀ
Loki and Sylvie both wanted to see what was beyond the TVA. Sylvie because she wanted to destroy it, and Loki, because he wanted to rule it. So if Sylvieās goal was to take down the dictator and create the power void, Lokiās was to fill the void.
Theyāre the gambit.
I am in love with her actually
This is the first Loki Series meme I agreed w/ 1000%

TāChalla Udaku and Steve Rogers are the two bigggest simps in the MCU.
So last night I had this dream where I was looking at a gif set of Steve and Bucky kissing as Steve died, and it was super sweet and dream-me was all like āAwww, Iām glad that they at least made it canon before he died.ā And then I woke up all happy that Stucky was canon. And then this hide wave of sadness hit me when I remembered that itās not. That wasnāt real. That didnāt happen. It was just a dream. Endgame didnāt end with Tony getting to watch his daughter grow up, obviously. And Steve didnāt take the gauntlet from TāChalla and do the snap. And in Steveās dying moments his century-long relationship with his one true love wasnāt confirmed with a kiss. No, it ended with him leaving Bucky and then not even giving him a glance while talking to Sam about how he ditched them for a girl in the forties. So yes, Erica, one COULD say that I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning
You know how when Marvel is compared to DC people say that Captain America and Superman are synonymous? Or Iron Man and Batman are? I would like to propose that we switch those. I don't think Captain America and Superman are good comparisons.
Argument number 1 : Captain America is a team player, Superman is not. One of Superman character flaws, something he has to overcome, is that he thinks he can or should protect the world alone. He can lift it alone, and so he should. He struggles with control because when things are outside of his control he feels responsible when they go wrong. He feels he should be able to protect everything, because he has the power, but as only one man he often fails in the scope of it. He may be able to solve every problem, but he can't see every problem. One of the first thing any adaption of the Justice League origin story has to overcome is Superman trying to fight the bad guy alone. Captain America is the literal opposite of that. He is the most team player team player, and when he can take a mission with a team he does. He doesn't shy away or panic at not being able to control every problem or fix every problem, he acts calmly under pressure. He works on teams.
Argument number 2 : Superman is the team leader, Captain America is not. Superman, at least later on in stories (And I don't mean like later editions, but just later on in the stories, like after justice league formations), is genuinely the leader of the Justice League. He calls people together, he addresses issues. Batman is nominally the leader as well, as in he calls attention to problems and offers solutions, but it's Superman who often makes the final calls. Captain American can not be said to often make the final call. He can call orders in combat, and maybe lead missions, but it's either Shield or his fellow Avengers who call missions. In fact, most of the Avengers can be the leader at different times, depending on the situation. Captain American and Iron Man are the leaders of the Avengers in equal measure.
Argument number 3 : Superman's No-kill rule, and Captain America's willingness to kill. I think this relates to Superman's feelings that only Superman can keep Superman in check. And he's not wrong, which means if Superman doesn't have hard morals, then he doesn't get to be Superman. Captain America doesn't have those issues. Captain America was taught combat in war, and made his morals there too. He has mercy, don't forget that, but he also doesn't see killing as the be all end all of morality.
Counter Argument number 1 : Both Superman and Captain America deal with the narrative question of "Are they necessary?" And the conclusion is that they aren't. Superman can retire, so can Captain America. They aren't necessary for the world to go on. But they have inspired people who often carry on their legacy. Superman has inspired plenty of the Justice League to be better heroes, and plenty of Super-boys who came after. Captain America also inspired heroes, and plenty of people who try to take up the mantel after he's gone. And their success depend on how much they understand themselves and what they stand for, and overcome who Superman and Captain America were.
Counter Argument number 2 : Clark Kent and Steve Rogers are very similar. Both are small town guys who view themselves as Clark Kent and Steve Rogers first, and Superman and Captain America second. I think their civilian identities are good comparisons.
Secondary Arguments 1 : I think Iron Man and Superman have more similar narratives. Both have these sense that their skills and powers are dangerous and they need to be their own moral compass. Both are scared of their own powers in a way. Stark is scared of his tech being misused and also running from his weapons dealer past. I've already explained Superman's fear. I know that Iron Man isn't exactly no-kill but he's one of the guys who I could see having that rule.
Secondary Arguments 2 : I think Batman and Captain America have similar fighting styles and approaches to missions. I don't think they'd agree or have similar narratives but I think they'd fight side by side well.
Closing thoughts : I love all four of these characters and I think all have incredibly intricate and interesting narratives, and so I think comparing them also leads to interesting discussions. Ultimately I think that their worlds are different to find exact comparisons, but it's still a fun draw to make. What are your thoughts?
i am so excited yet so scared for Clea Strange finally being in the MCU. Because on one hand, I love Clea and Stephen's romance and i'm excited for it, but on the other I have a horrible feeling that the writers are gonna fuck it up. I NEED my girlboss x boyfailure dynamic. And I KNOW that Charlize Theron and Benedict Cumberbatch can pull it off. I just hope that the MCU writers and directors won't be a bunch of pussies and chicken out of making Stephen a malewife. "bUt HeS tHe StRoNg MaLe PrOtAgOnIsT, wE cAnT mAkE hIm WeAk AnD fEmInInE." YES YOU CAN. FOR MY SANITY. AND HE ISN'T WEAK HES JUST SERVING CUNT.
