Dear Tumblr : How many plushies is too many?

My little brother (13) loves plushies. At first it was endearing but now he practically has an entire shelf and closet full of them!!!! They are everywhere (multiple rooms including mine, the kitchen and on one occasion the bathroom).

At what point is it okay to get concerned? Because I think I’m already there.

I want to give some of these fanfic ideas some spotlight- Cuz I’m not like DOING anything with them, but I need them out of my brain NOW! I just can’t decide what to talk about- So, whichever one gets the most votes, I’ll do a fun little explanation on like- The lore and stuff. And if you’re curious and want a BIT more information about some of these titles, I could probably give a short explanation. But yeah.

I have ideas bouncing in my head and cannot do anything with them, so I shall place them here in hopes that someone sees my plea for it to be written-

Possible Ghost King Danny AU here and just like, the absolute drama when the G.I.W. learns that said protector spirit is also the literal king of all ghosts now.

Even if it’s not a Ghost King AU Still pleanty of shenanigans to go around when they find out that the ENTIRE TOWN ended up in the ghost zone, and Phantom fought off the literal ghost king to save the town (and his rogues). Like holly specters they need to be even more careful, because this ghost just broke the power scale.

Reveal shenanigans. Like, they eventually learn that Danny’s half humaan and not full ghost and on the one hand, fascinating, how does that even work? On the other hand, oh gods, this has been a literal child, still in school, keeping the town safe. Sure things have calmed down now, but the fights sure seemed serious in the beginning if those reports are to be believed. Also, wait, the protector spirit is the son of the ghost hunters who made the portal?! Is he safe?! They’re trying to dissect his ghost form! Oh my lord, he died how?!

Agent G. They’re spiritually sensitive. Can they still tell that Danny is Phantom when in human form, or does he just read as way more liminal than the others? Does Agent G struggle to pinpoint anything specific because like, littersally everyone in town is at least a little liminal, or is everything very clear and easy to read? I have questions!

The Worst Branch in the Country

The GIW knows Amity Park is a huge fraud. The “most haunted city in the US”, really? They’ve been checking the place out for decades with nary a peep aside from that couple of crazy scientists that moved into town around twenty years prior.

Because of this, the town became a punishment duty. One of their agents causes trouble? They get put in time out and sent to work for a while in Amity Park. Let those idiots chase after pointless rumors while the actually competent agents work with the more important ghosts. The reports back from the town get barely more than a cursory glance before getting tossed in the shredder.

…Which really came back to bite them when ghosts did actually start to show up, and they didn’t realize until after the Amity Park branch had royally screwed up the situation.

Fuck, they really hope this doesn’t start a war.

Optional DPxDC addition: they call in the Justice League Dark for help with negotiation and taking down their rogue members

I personally think it’d taste like chocolate-chip cookie dough with the salt in the mixture being from tears

Touch Stances (not exactly sure where I stand) (also not sure about this title ☹️)

How does one determine where they stand(?) when it comes to the touch stances?

Like I think I'm either touch oscillating or touch ambivalent (I'm not 100% sure)

I am very much uncomfortable with being hugged (or really just touched in general) without warning (which my dad does a lot), and I can't stand touching strangers (the best I can do is a fist bump)

I'm like a cat in the sense that I either have to be the one to initiate the affection or in rare cases it's someone I'm close to that can initiate it (if that makes sense) and even then I rarely initiate affection (physical) at all

So every now and again I look over a note thing (idk) that my cardiologist sent to my primary physician (yes I do have access to this) and towards the bottom of the note he lists a thing of diagnoses and in that list is in his words: “No clinical evidence of connective tissue disorder”

What does that even mean??? Like I’m pretty sure I don’t have a connective tissue disorder and I’m taking “no clinical evidence of connective tissue disorder” to be indicative of that, but what was the point of putting it under “Diagnoses”?

This doesn’t necessarily require/need any answer. Really I just felt like venting(?) out my confusion of this phrasing(?), but if you happen to know and wish to answer my inquiries go ahead

1. do you have a favorite branch of science? get as specific or broad as u want

my favourite branch of science is astrophysics! i’m working rn to get money to go to college to be an astrophysicist. space and quantum maths have always been a huge special interest of mine!

2. does the last song u listened to fit the last character in ur camera roll?

the last song i listened to is Wildflowers by Tom Petty, and the last character(s) in my camera roll are Kujo Jotaro and Kakyoin Noriaki. (they’re in the same image) i do feel like the song fits them extremely well! it’s basically a very sweet song saying “i want you to be happy” and i feel like they both really want that for the other. i feel like Jotaro specifically would tell Kakyoin to go find himself someone else, not because he doesn’t love Kakyoin but because he loves him so much it hurts to see him hurting. and of course we all know that Jotaro believes that when people around him get hurt it’s his fault. i have so many more thoughts on this and i could go on forever lol

3. what's something that gives you a sensory ick?

ough something that gives me a sensory ick is when people touch my hands when they give me something. like bro why are you touching me AND the object you’re handing me. i often make people set things down so i can pick them up myself lol. i’m weird

4. do you eat meat? if so, what's your favorite kind? if not, what's your favorite source of protein?

i am Jewish, so i can’t eat pork, but other than that yeah! meat is a pretty common thing in my household. my brother will often make like five pounds of taco meat at once lmao. my favourite kind of meat is simple deli turkey though. i could eat that stuff by the package (and i have before).

5. laptop, desktop, or tablet?

if given the chance, i will always take a desktop simply because they’re easier for me to use, but currently i have a shitty laptop lol. it can turn into a tablet if i take the keyboard off, but i never use it like that. i mostly use it to read and write, because my art skills are. let’s just say *highly lacking* lol. i’m working on it tho

Questions season three of my hero academia needs to answer.

Man life is funny when you just stop giving a shit. Like you distance yourself. Act like you're not a human experiencing the fall of humanity, imagine ur an alien watching it. Watching them scramble to pick up the pieces they themselves broke.

However we got here I don't know, but for this metaphor let's say god's how. God is you in this metaphor. You've just placed your very fish hungry cat into a fish tank. The fish tank has to water but a multitude of fish. All the cat must do is eat the fish. The cat then grows a fucking hand and fucking fills the tank with water. Then when the cat cannot breathe it's shocked. It hops and skips for air and gives up because, "Well not much I can do about it; I mean I'm only a cat." The cat is thinking. So the cat just slowly fucking drowns. And you just stand there like,

And you're simply in too much shock to help your drowning cat and honestly the fish might be dead too they were out of the water for a while. And what the fuck is going on and why the fuck did your cat GROW A FUCKING ARM!??!?!?!??!?

Anyway so in this metaphor, God is you, the cat is humanity, the arm is economics and fossil fuel and colonisation, the fishes are earth and existence, and of course the water is the global issues we're facing.

The point is, if a cat growing an arm and drowning itself isn't funny to you, get rid of the water pussy. Get it? Pussy. It's a cat metaphor- Anyway! If it is funny to you then like just fucking watch! Like see what happens. I don't know!? Maybe the arm comes back and grabs a bucket. The funniest and most likely outcomes are,

1.) The cat just fucking sits down and takes it, slowly drowning with a care in the world. (We all die like the dinos did)

2.) The cat freaks out and pushes the fish tank over and it explodes into a million shards of glass. (Apocalypse senario)

3.) The cat stands up and steps out of the tank. (Moving planets)

4.) The cat drinks the water and then chokes and dies (We use our problems to cause more problems)

5.) The cat grabs a bucket and slowly dumps out the water. (We fix this shit)

Either way I'm rooting for 5 but I cannot wait to see what happens, especially if it's six. Oh six is the cat growing gills which is basically just the frog in a pot metaphor where we all just get used to the planet being on fire and not being able to breathe nice air.

Quick question for anyone who might have an answer.

How common is it for people to think of attempting suicide to avoid going to work? Like... Nobody ever seems to WANT to go to work, and some jobs feel like hell. It seems like it would be really common... But then again, I'm kind of fragile (emotionally), and can't imagine NOT being fragile. I'm not going to attempt. It's just something I thought about, because the thought of doing that popped into my head. If I succeeded, there'd be no more work, no ridicule or gossip, no worries about what might happen if I start hrt while working or worries about my future, being alone, or in pain, or being a failure. If I failed, I could probably get a psychiatrist, like I needed to years ago. It would be expensive, and I'd probably get sent to a psych ward, but still. I don't want to go to work. I would probably be content sitting in a decent psych ward for a few years. Idk. I hate being an adult.

Hi ,I'm making a personal project of mine (a story book) where the introduction of it is the villian talking to the audience and/or reader and I want to make it sound like a poem , do you'll writers out there have any tips?

I'm going to do some Transformers redesigns, and I wanted to know which autobots and decepticons are popular across different continuities.

I'm already locked in on Optimus, Bumblebee, Megatron and Starscream.

I'm open to alt mode suggestions for Megatron (currently thinking an alien gunship) and any suggested characters who have inconsistent alt modes.

I noticed a lot of people reblog, which I think is a super cool feature, but I'll find a super popular post with zero comments and it's weird. I actually love getting comments and it is odd that no one else seems to. Is it considered rude? I usually comment bc I don't like to reblog on my themed accounts (like my art account) so I'll comment. However, I don't want to come off the wrong way.

Tl;Dr - I'm new to Tumblr and wondering why no one seems to comment on posts, even popular ones.
