Zenless Zone Zero fans are scary. 😓 I heard about the game, it looks cool but I can't play it on my device unfortunately, unlike all the other Hoyoverse games. But I've come aware that looking over the characters, there is a certain UNDER AGED shark girl who is a MINOR being SEXUALIZED all over the internet. I am not aware of this shake girl's name but you know what I AM aware of?? Is that she is a minor‼️ Stop making r34 art of her and posting it on FUCKING TUMBLR OF ALL PLACES, YOU WEIRDOS. She is seventeen years old, a high schooler. I don't care how attractive she may seem, she is still a minor. I don't care if she is a fictional character, she is STILL A MINOR AND HER BEING A FICTIONAL CHARACTER DOESN'T CHANGE ANYTHING ABOUT HER BEING A MINOR. All because she is a fictional character, doesn't automatically make it alright to have sexual urges towards a minor, it also doesn't change the fact that you had these sexual urges TOWARDS A MINOR. You are owed/entitled to nothing.
An important part of minimizing your own unhappyness is letting go of the idea that you are obligated to recieve, or keep, something. Anything. Epicurus said that "He who is not satisfied with little, is satisfied with nothing". But he's dead now, so I won't just quote him without explanation.
In modern society, more is never enough. Yet we believe that if we just had more, we would be happy. Honestly thinking it over, this probably stems from the fact that most people try to 'achieve' happiness and then maintain it indefinitely. Which, of course, isn't possible. If more was enough, any millionaire would waltz around in eternal bliss, and Elon Musk wouldn't need to micromanage his image to feed his ego.
So if achieving more doesn't make us happy, maybe lowering our threshold for what we consider 'enough' will? Well, for me it certainly removed a lot of misery (Though not all of it - I'm still not brave enough to touch and hold a larger spider in my hand) from my life, without needing any money.
You, reading this right now, almost certainly feel like you are owed something. There's a simple way to check. If you were to lose both your legs, would you be angry? What if you lost the love of your life much too early? Oh, and I'm willing to bet that most people would be angry if their phone was stolen, enough so to let it ruin their day. This misery is because you feel that you are owed your limbs, or partner, or whatever you hold dear. But to who? The universe? It's silly to think that you feel the universe owes you your legs, and that cursing it and being bitter would change it's ways.
And indeed, with time, people who lose limbs return to their regular state of mood. So you might aswell minimize the time between you losing something and accepting your circumstances. Which is to say: You might as well start accepting that you are, on a spiritual level, owed fuckall.
You aren't owed people's appreciation or adoration no matter how good of a person you are.
You aren't owed a good girl just because you're a nice guy who would treat her like a queen (If you find yourself identifying with this one, you should maybe just try not thinking you are owed the affection of others from being a merely decent person)
The only thing I would argue you are entitled to is air. More specifically, you are entitled to breathe in air that isn't filled with Co2. This is because you're genetically designed to panic in such a case, no exceptions. So in that one instance, the harmony of nature is on your side, and you can freely panic to your hearts content.
With all this being said, I am definitely owed a heart and a repost by you. Otherwise you're a bad stoic and will go to stoicism hell (Las Vegas).

the versions of me that i show to them. people pleasers never do get the light of love shining on the deepest parts of their hearts. the parts that are unapologetically them, the parts that truly define them. but then again they're hidden away by fear and who's to say they aren't comforted by it.

Well… CapCut got banned alongside TikTok. I had known about TikTok getting banned, but CapCut? I’m genuinely shocked. I did not know about that. I use CapCut for any video projects I do. Without that, I need to find a new video editing app. If anyone has any recommendations, please send them my way.
Let's Talk Fanfiction:
I just like found this slightly cryptic and intriguing fanfic, like the plot is good and the vocabulary used is like total C1-C2 English level. But then again there are some weird mistakes considering the level of the vocabulary and stuff, like some basic grammar mistakes, and sentences with words in the wrong order. So I read it anyway and it's confusing af bc it's kinda hard to read. Just wondering how that even exists like usually there are fics with great grammar and a boring plot, the occasional fic with great grammar and great plot and of course fics with an amazing plot but the grammar is so bad that you seriously can't read it.
Sometimes Gatekeeping Is Good!
Okay but fr I think mild gatekeeping in alternative subcultures is okay, because I think we shouldn't just let anyone in.
I don't think a Trump supporter should be able to say they're a punk and I don't think someone who sees goth as PURELY "egirl" fashion should be allowed to call themselves goth. Idk if this makes me sound like an asshole but imo if you don't regularly listen to the music or aren't aware of the history/movement behind a subculture, you aren't in it.
I do think there is a level of gatekeeping that is too far but my brain can't put it into words rn if you understand.

This is Null. Null likes cowboys and anything western. Since this is my main blog, I'll speal a bit more about them. They are seen as friendly yet sort of reserved as I would imagine them not to show their true feelings a lot. They live with Ted and Mari. While Ted and Null get along, Null despises Mari for her idiocy. If you decided to click on my blog from a community, (Thank you if you did lol) they have a strong sense of justice. So they are courageous, standing up for most people but this can make things for the worse.
